radio fm does not work correctly - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

The sound is often interspersed.
Does it happen to someone else?

I have the same issue. Sometimes the FM stops working for 3 seconds. I contacted the support team, they don't know. Any help?

mee to have the same issue in dubai other phones work normally

I'm just testing mine now in Ireland and it seems to be working perfectly...did you try clearing cache and trying again? Does the app force stop or the audio just stops?

I have the same problem. Cut off in 3 seconds

I have the same problem. Any solution?

Does the fm radio even work in custom rom?

Not only Radio suffers - BUT ONLY when audio used in STEREO!
Not only FM Radio suffers but the NEUTRON player too. BUT these problems exists only when the audio used in STEREO mode. If you set audio to be MONO (System&Device --> Additional settings --> Accessibility --> AUDIO & ON-SCREEN-TEXT --> Mono audio) then the the radio will not silent periodically.
Please tell this to the developers!
(the Neutron player have the issues when plugging the headphones - it stops to play streamed audio and not play it after the player restarts only once, but start to play the streams after two restarts only)

Thank YOU!!!
The following are some additional facts related to the issue. THANK YOU!

title: Audio in STEREO mode CAUSES serious issues (not only in FM Radio)
The FM Radio have issue which PREVENT the using the radio! :crying: The volume drops down up to be absolutely silent every ~10-12 seconds.
But not only the FM Radio suffers, the NEUTRON player too.
The problems exists only when the MIUI plays\operate with audio in STEREO mode. If you set audio to be MONO (System&Device --> Additional settings --> Accessibility --> AUDIO & ON-SCREEN-TEXT --> Mono audio) then the radio will not silent periodically.
Please tell this to the developers!
(The Neutron player have the issues when plugging the headphones - it stops to play streamed audio and not play it after the player restarts only once, but start to play the streams after two restarts only.
An addition issue when Neutron player used: when 3.5 plug disconnected, then the Pocophone plays short part of streamed audio after ~0.5 sec delay and then it can not be used without two restarts of the player.
The Neutron player work well when the MIUI converts (as this was described before) the audio to MONO)
NOTE:The issue with STEREO MODE AUDIO is manifesting on the genuine Pocophone Device which is managed by the LAST OFFICIAL GLOBAL MIUI ROM 10.2.3.0, as all this is stated on the following Screenshot:

Sound stuttering via A2DP/Bluetooth

Hi, I am using the tornado a2dp fix and got A2DP working with a Sony bluetooth headphone set and the sound is great but it stutters. I tried WMA and even the HTC music player and its still the same (although a little better with WMA).
Is anyone else having these issues?
I may try updating the firmware (if avalible) or removing the A2DP thing and trying this instead:
http://sheehantu.wordpress.com/2007/05/25/enabling-a2dp-on-windows-mobile-5-phones/
has anyone tried this? does it work?
Does anyone having skipping music via A2DP? ANy fixes?
Thanks. all help appreciated!
I get the occasionall drop-out of music over a2dp. Every 30 seconds or so?
Not sure how to fix it - Works perfectly from my laptop. I don't think it's a signal strenght issue either as if I hold my jasjam next to my head it still does it.

Hi Just tried that prog and so far is NOT working......
Edit: It DOES work.
Bit fiddly to work it out but hey presto............. and stereo.
Listening to 'Pulse' ATM and not dropping out. Whahayyy!
i tried ripping a CD to WMA using media player at 128kbps and it works fine via A2DP with no skipping, so i think it just struggles with high bitrate songs and VBR MP3.
Update:
I tried an MP3 at 128kpbs and it skips, but when using a 128kbps WMA file it works perfect. So if you plan on using bluetooth headphones, get wmp 11 to convert everything to 128kbps WMA and you'll have not one problem.
Ok i have been playing with this and found a solution.
Use TCMCP. This plays AAC,WMA,MP3 and also video but if you embed the album art into the music file it will display this too. You can play the music at any bitrate and it doesn't skip with a2dp and bluetooth headphones.
And when you run this you have about 20MB avalible ram free.
To sort out your music and embed album art try music monkey.
Have fun!
I have the Pulsar 590A headset. Regarding stuttering audio; One thing to keep in mind; if you have paired it with your mobile phone, and later start a different pairing operation with bluetooth on your laptop, then the old connection with your phone may still connect automatically as a "mono headset" without you being aware of it. If you then connect the headset (manually) on your laptop to listen to stereo music (A2DP) the connection appears to succeed but you might get stuttering audio because you are also connected to your phone ! These seem to be two independent services that fight for bandwidth. I found that out when I happened to press the Dial button on the headset an to my surprise my phone (located in the hallway) called up my girlfriend ! And old pairing job I had done half a year ago and forgot about...Once I removed the phone pairing altogether (=phone link disconnected) the laptop music A2DP playback worked fine again. Can be a good thing to check in case you get stuttering audio.

[Q] CM7 Bluetooth Audio Streaming to car stereo problem

I'm currently on Neutrino's v2.5p2 ROM and my phone doesn't allow any application other than the built in music player to stream any audio to my car stereo through bluetooth. I used to hear Tune In radio on a daily basis without any problems with the stock GB roms but ever since I unlocked my phone and started playing with different roms (Ba2tF, Nightly's, Neutrino, Dorian's Red Pill) I've been unable to listen to any streaming audio app through my bluetooth connection. No power AMP, no youtube, not even video audio from the built in media player. I can sometimes hear about 2 seconds from Tune In if I start the app while hearing audio from the music player: the music player audio would stop while the audio from tune-in starts to sound through the car speakers but after about a second and a half the audio gets cut out (but the app screen shows that the audio is still playing). Anyone else has had this issue?
Anyone? anyone?
Canr say i have had this issue cuz i dont use blue tooth for anything but have you checked in the dsp manager and blue tooth settings to see if there is something preventing it? not sure if thats any help buy best of luck.
got the problem solved. I installed Turl's CM9 V9 ROM.

OaT's LnT - my bugs

Well, in light of everything, I still will post the bugs I'm experiencing on 8/29
I have the 32GB version. I wiped/factory reset.
- Bluetooth pairing to Jawbone Jambox is hit or miss, when it does pair, trying to enter into the BT settings causes an FC everytime. This has been happening with all the builds of LnT I've ever tested (#1 reason why I didn't use it as my daily rom) As a comparison, CM9 08/19 nightly doesn't have this problem
- Dolby mobile audio doesn't seem to do anything meaningful. I don't have any .mp3s stored on my TP, I've been using EX file explorer to connect to a local NAS, and then playing the .mp3 with whatever default audio player is built into EXFE. While it's playing, I first tried to switch between speaker/headset toggle, and through the speakers, it doesn't make any difference to the audio currently being played. I don't know if this is user error or what, maybe it only works with local mp3s using android music player?
- Turning off Dolby mobile audio will not allow me to turn it back on until I reboot
- I tried the Beats Audio build, again, turning on for example Bass boost did nothing for my ears. Does the equalizer only work for local mp3? I was trying with streaming audio from tune-in radio
- Intermittent: touchscreen stops responding. The workaround is quickly turn off/on TP. Then it works again
Sorry, I'm a n00b and a bunch of these could be user errors, not understanding the feature.
OK so the audio loss bug is still in 8/29 for me. The work around is having headphones plugged in on boot, let it sleep, wake up and unplug headphones
Also, crackling audio also occurs for me, sleep and wake fixes problem but then touch screen is intermittently unresponsive. These bugs do it happen for me in cm9 nightly

[Q] Bluetooth bug still there - GT-I9300-i9305 Resurrection Remix® v4.0.7 [01/09/13]

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1815285
my favorite [ROM] still has an unfortunate issue with bluetooth headsets
what happens is:
when using bluetooth headset, equalized using DPS / bluetooth, it randomly switches to the "DSP speaker" equalization pattern instead
Occurences:
1. this happens when listening to music and a different sound is played, eg a message
2. when playback is paused
3. when skipping track
4. during playback while buffering
5. while modifying the equalizer preferences
any of above is random and may/may not occur
software in use: Google Music
hardware in use: GT-i9300 + Bluedio 8-track revolution headset
i have had similar issues with DPS when i used the samsung supplied headset, using the headset EQ, but this was resolved by keeping the 5-band DPS eq open, with the bluetooth headset, however, the eq is randomly shifted from DPS bluetooth to DSP speaker, as described above
thank you for participating the the development of the best ROM for android
