The volume and power rocker has a small game, even to you?

Something is definitely wrong with my rocker button.
When I pressed the volume up button, couple things happen:
- volume increases
- google search opened up
When I pressed the volume down button:
- goes back to home menu
- volume decrease (if I pressed longer), as well as the recent program popped up.
I tried downloading RingGuard and volume control widget, only block the sound but the rest of the actions are still executed.
It seems like when I pressed the volume up button (using KeyNumberTracker), key
115 (volume up)
217 (search)
139 (menu)
are pushed.
This just happen suddenly this morning. Is there any way to fix this?

The sensitivity and touch of the volume up and down of my Xperia S is different, the volume up button is "harder" than volume down button. How about the others?
CM has this feature where you can use the volume rocker to skip tracks when the screen is off. I really dislike the feature so I have disabled it via settings. But now a volume rocker longpress does absolutely nothing when the screen is off. I would expect the volume to increase/decrease gradually when the volume rocker is long pressed. Whats the point of disabling one functionality without re-enabling the other!!
Anybody know the fix to this? Not sure if this problem is just with me, or with everyone on CM.

Volume button Creps when I press volume up. But it works properly. Do any of you have the same problem?
Getting a bluetooth headphone which has 2 buttons for volume control. To change track (next) , volume button has to be pressed for 2 seconds.
Volume up: Press Vol +
Next track: Press and hold Vol +
Possible to switch these actions with an app ? Nokia 6.1 - no root.
