Bootloader Unlock Issue - Sony Xperia M4 Aqua

Hello everyone; I need your help and assistance.
I am having trouble unlocking the bootloader of a Sony Xperia M4 Aqua E2303 device; the Service Menu (*#*#7378423#*#*) reveals Rooting Status: Bootloader unlock allowed - Yes.
Device Details
Android version: 5.0
Build number: 26.1.A.3.111
I have downloaded and installed the corresponding driver from https://developer.sony.com/develop/drivers/, downloaded and installed the Google USB Driver (https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb), and availed an unlock code from https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/unlock-bootloader/
From hereon, I downloaded and extracted the SDK Platform-Tools for Windows (https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools), but utilising the code
Code:
fastboot -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0x<myunlockcode>
(referred from https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/unlock-bootloader/how-to-unlock-bootloader/) only yielded within Command Prompt the message: fastboot: unknown option -i.
Since the above procedure did not yield the desired result, I attempted the alternative: Flashtool method, using the [Guides][Root][FlashTool][Drivers][Memory Problems][Unlock Bootloader] [TA Backup] (https://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/general/guide-t3130092) as a reference guide. I downloaded and installed Flashtool 0.9.18.6, and the Flashtool Drivers; albeit the installation directory on my computer is set C:\Flashtool, inside C:\Users\<myusername>\.flashTool\registeredDevices, I created a folder titled mydevices, within it another folder having the device code as its title, and within the latter folder I created a text file titled ulcode, having the unlock code as data entry.
However, post flash mode and fastboot mode processes, Flashtool concludes ....INFO - FAILED (remote: Command not allowed). I have furnished the narrative of the Flashtool process' log below.

I await your valuable replies, correcting whatever mistake(s) I may have very likely committed.

Having done almost all of the important leg work, I overlooked the most fundamental dynamic: Enable OEM unlock within Developer options; I was unaware of the said feature due to lack of sustained experience with Sony Xperia devices!
:silly:
The bootloader has been successfully unlocked, subsequently, custom recovery (TWRP) was successfully flashed, and the device was successfully rooted.

I would do the following:
1 - Change usb port and retry,
2 - Test flashmode by connecting to the computer (ensure that the light remains green) until you disconnect

FlashTool on Ubuntu (14.04 LTS) - Sony Live with Walkman (WT19i)

Sony Live with Walkman - Android Version 4.0.4
What I did...
1) Downloaded Flashtool 0.9.19.8 (for Linux)
2) Applied the 0.9.19.10 Patch
3) Downloaded WT19i_4.1.B.0.578_Generic.ftf then put it in > /root/.flashTool/firmwares/
4) Installed - ia32-libs
5) Ran FlashTool > Clicked Flash Device button > Flashmode > Chose to wipe APPS_LOG and USERDATA > Clicked Flash button.

I've done this before exactly 5 times on Windows 7 and once on 8 but this is my first time doing this on Ubuntu. In Windows I remember installing device drivers(?) but in /home/.flashtool/devices/ I see a "busybox" executable (.exe) file and am not sure whether I should run that with Wine to install on Ubuntu. Has anyone done this before and were successful on 14.04? What did I not do?
Please do not say "just use Windows if you know how to do it that way" because I wish to learn how to do it on Linux as well.
Thank you so very much for any/all help I get in advance. Please don't mind my bad English as it is not my first language.
Help! :silly:
Edit: I could not add links to this post as this is my first post. (I have the links to how I completed the above steps if anyone needs I will edit this post with links after 9* more posts for anyone who sees this post in the future for help.

Flashtool 'Can't read a byte value' error

hello guys,
I have been stuck with the following error message below in Flashtool for the last 2 days, trying to install the 5.11 firmware on my E5823.
Weird part is, that it worked once, when I was just moving files around in the firmware folder and reinstalling Flashtool...

I tried all tips I found on other treads/forums, but nothing seems to work...
- Restart Flashtool
- Reinstall Flashtool
- Move *.tft files out of firmware folder, remove firmware folder, restart Flashtool, shutdown Flashtool, move files back (this worked only once before!!!)
- Download new firmwares
Getting desperate here, as Im completely stuck now...

Xperia E4 e2124 fully hard bricked

so guys, i'm new here, and i have some biggest troubles with a xperia e4 e2124 dtv. he´s stucked on sony logo, after this some white flashing lines appear at the bottom of the screen, and the phone's shut down. i've tried to save him on PCC, but in the end get an error or appear a message that says the phone was blocked lol.
It can't keep it in flash mode as it always restarting / unplugging from the pc / flashtool. bootloader status is locked but it seems that in flashtools is unlocked "BLU '' because I get the bootloader unlock code, but does not accept any command in fastboot mode. usb debugging is disabled, I can not create a scatter file because the phone It is not detected by the MTK DROID. It is not detected by SP flashtools.I have tried everything but the phone has no sign of life. I tried to flash some ROM's and recovery, but nothing, the phone still no response. Please help me
