A working sound enhancer for Mate 10 Pro, anyone ? - Huawei Mate 10 Questions & Answers

Been looking for a working sound enhancer like Viper4Android for my Mate 10 Pro rooted with Magisk for over a year now ?
Anyone has any working solution ?
Thanks

For me I find this works well. No root needed and works great with Spotify...which is what I use it for in the car
Equalizer FX. Pro

Which one is it there is so many in the Play Store, and does it work over Bluetooth connection. Thanks

has anyone tried https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guide-installing-viper4android-t3250579 ?

I am using jetAudio and it has a number of built in sound enhancements. Give it a try and you won't look back

I finally found what I was looking for. It works !!

Thanks. This is exactly what I was finding from 1 month
Hey, thanks for the suggestion. But one question. I'm subscribed to Google Play Music how can I increase the level from Google music app?
The songs downloaded are not recognised by 3rd party Music Players. Even Poweramp is not recognising it.
It is pretty clear that the device has the potential to deliver the best audio at an optimum level but people at Asus are giving a deaf ear to this. I guess a little bit of coding or just a software update can sort the problem. Or some hack might help.

When i will get time i will try to boost sound at kernel level.......
Or just use viper4android or something like that, the dolby atmos, or other sound mods are also available. They work systemwide. I haven't tested and don't know any will work or not. Report here if someone tries.
Poweramp Hi-Res Output will only work if Viper4FX is not installed. With Viper the audio is capped at 16 bit, uninstall it and experience 24 bit audio. It does make a huge difference for high quality music files (lossless .FLAC). Happy with my Shure SE 215 now.
Viper ,Dolby are capped only upto 16bit 48khz ..,..
Poweramp uses its own build DSP to trigger 24bit 384khz of sd636 built in DAC bypassing Nxp smart amp.....
Poweramp is dope......none can match its sound quality.....
I hope that Nxp smart amp support 24bit 384khz audio seraching a way to implement it
Works amazingly man. Now I can finally retire my Mi A1.
Works nice...but after enabling.... I can't control it's volume. Even with system media volume to zero....songs play at maximum sound.

Which one gives clarity sound between Dolby and Viper4Android???

Hi Guys! I'm a little bit confused between Dolby Atmos and Viper4Android. I am a Kenzo user and currently using NOS O latest build.
So please suggest me which one should I flash? Dolby or Viper
and please give the best settings for it if you have.
Thanks in advance
Search FIRE SOUND in XDA (in our forum RN3 Pro)
Have Dolby and V4A and much other tweaks.
I love this mod
Edit: Link
Dolby, but you have to make sure that you flash the working version - some versions seem to work but actually do nothing and to make sound virtualizer work is not trivial.
Try Jetaudio music player, their plugins are actually working and doing the job great.

Any workaround for equalizer not working for bluetooth earphones/speakers ?

I have my Creative Outlier Sports and equalizer is greyed out when using them, but when you use wired earphones, it works properly.
I didn't have a problem like this on my previous phone (nexus 5x).
Non rooted phones: Several music apps with good build in equalizer like for example poweramp
If your phone is rooted you should install viper4android its one of the best equalizers android has
Thanks, i'll look into it. And what about ARISE sound systems ? Is there any major differences between multiple equalizers?

You should install it through magisk if youre rooted you can find viper4android in the downloads section of the magisk app: "viper4android fx materialized" working perfectly on miui 9 and 10 or any custom rom
Gotcha, will do. Thanks again.

Question Any way to get Apple Music Dolby Atmos w/Pixel 6?

I'm upgrading from my iPhone 6S and the Pixel 6 appears to almost be the best phone.
Expect it doesn't have Dolby Atmos for music.
Is there any way to add it back via software/rooting the phone?
Thanks.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I've seen it reported that this Dolby mod works on the Pixel 6 series. Can't confirm myself as I haven't tried it.

Works on Pixel 6 @ GrapheneOS. Thank you !
The absolute best music player app for Android, is Power Amp! Fabulous equalizer, tons of controls, and definitely increases sound levels, depending on head gear. You can make your own EQ settings for different headphones, and with a couple taps, your good to go. Power Amp is the number one or #2 most paid for app in Playstore.

It doesn't work at A13. It's no problem to install it but it's closed immediately when opening it. Sad because it's working well in A12L.
This is working but sometimes requires a few reboots to get your you unlock pattern/pin working.

Question Help Request - Viper4Android on January Update for Pixel 6

I feel like I tried every combination of installing things to get Viper4Android to work on the Pixel 6. I'm currently on rooted January update and I don't think I ever had Viper4Android working correctly. I've gone through this forum trying to find a solution and have tried...
SE Lenix Changer.apk to set to permissive (I've flipped back since it didn't work)
Ainur-Narsil
AML-4.0.zip
acp.zip
ViperFx_Android12_fix.zip
I followed a few different solutions that didn't work for me and was just wondering if anyone has had luck getting it to run correctly on the Pixel 6 Jan update - your solution would be greatly appreciated!

I tried and it was the first time I saw it work!! was excited but I was using the phone's speakers. When I tried using my XM3s I was still getting the same
NEON enabled: No
Enabled: No
Status: Abnormal
Processing: No
I'm not sure if it wasn't working before because I didn't try it with my phone's speakers but at least now I know it's somewhat working! any idea if I should expect it to not work using my bluetooth headphones?

yup it's enabled! so weird though because I can't get the headphones to work. I found a thread where someone was using viper4android with the xm3s so I think it's do-able. I also tried the below with no luck
audio compatibility patch
audio modification library
viperfx_android12_Fix.zip
Ainur Narsil
If anyone has any idea what might still be causing issues using Viper4Android on my bluetooth Sony XM3s but it works fine on the phone's speakers I'd sincerely appreciate your input!
And thanks again Lughnasadh!

One more thing I can think of to try. Go into Developer Options and disable HD audio. Forgot about that, lol. Hope it works for ya.
It's pretty easy to get it working, download the regular APK of Viper, open it and let it install the drivers, after the reboot go into adb/modules/viper4android and replace the old post-fs-data.sh file with this one and enable legacy mode, reboot and enjoy
Tested on Stock, ProtonAOSP and CalyxOS on pixel 6

I tried to disable HD audio in Dev Options but it was already disabled and the toggle option itself was disabled - could that be an issue?

I tried that and it gets it working for the phone's speakers and I just learned it also works in my car. But when I hook up my Sony XM3s all the options are disabled like I posted above even with legacy on. It seems to be something with the headphones themselves since the car is also BT it can't be a BT issue.

Mine is greyed out as well but I think only because I have it disabled in my Pixel Buds settings. If I enabled in the Pixel Buds settings I believe it won't be grayed out on the Developer Options. Buds are in the car so can't test right now but that's how I remember it.
Not really sure why you can't get yours going.
