Need some suggestions regarding daily driver on kenzo - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

Hi Guys! Please suggest me a best rom based on nougat or oreo (versions not an issue for me) which gives best bb as well as more customizations. Currently, I am on AEX O with Agni 13.3. It gives the best customization but bb is horrible.
Previously I used NOS O. That was good. But still SOT<6hr.
Please suggest guys. Thanks in advance

Official AEX or unofficial?

Really i only use aex official 8.1 but all nougat roms have better performance/battery.
In your place i try to install AEX nougat, "less is more" its a clean version of android.
Other good rom for me is Resurrection Remix (nougat and oreo)
(What is "bb"?)

Arrow 9

Would not suggest any oreo rom, they suck. Try havoc os pie or miui 10 beta. These are the best 2 roms updated regularly. nougat isnt ipdated anymore afaik.

Can you please share the link of Agni here? Or pm?

Thanks a lot for your suggestions. But currently I'm using AEX N by @Pzqqt with stock kernel.
It gives me best battery backup (7hrs sot easily).

Need Suggestions

Hi friends,
First of all I would like to thank all the developers, testers and members of the forum. It is good to see that new roms, kernels are still being developed.
I just got a Note 3 few days back and I want to gain max from it in terms of balance/battery performance along with some customizations. Although I am familiar with the concept of rooting etc but in a simpler way. Like I have Nexus 7 2013 and there is a tool called Wugfresh NexusTool Kit. It does all things by itself and I just have to download roms or update the ToolKit.
I do not want to try many roms or kernels to find a right one for me. So consider this as a review suggestion for Rom+Kernel Combo. Now, What I need is :
1a. Volte must work,
1b. FP must work,
1c. Xposed Framework should work for greenify/adaway etc (preferred choice)
1d. Battery should not drain more than stock else no point flashing custom rom for me.
1e. Signal should be stable & wifi/hotspot work without problem as I use this device solely for WifiHotspot.
1f. Should be stable but I can adjust with less important bugs like Reading Light, Lite Mode setting etc. I dont need them.
1g. Feature rich.
1h. Rom should use least resources/ram etc and have no bloatwares.
So, kindly help me in finding a stable Rom+Kernel combo. My device is Kenzo(Snapdragon) with the latest stock MIUI 8.1.1.0 Rom and FP is FPC. Also, I do not have micro sd card so I can take back up of phone on the phone itself. I would also like to know about the process of successfully using f2fs format on Note 3. So friends, I am awaiting your kind suggestions.
Thank you.

Thanks but what about Kernel? Any Nougat Rom suggestion?

If you want Xposed, you can't have Nougat, there's no Xposed for it. Radon kernel and the ROM I linked to is a good combination.
You can try RR Remix Rom + Radon kernel. Its a great combo with lots of feature, good battery life and stable for daily use. If you want Xposed than flash MM version of RR Remix Rom cause Nougat Rom does not support Xposed as of now.

Thanks but in Lineage OS 13(very good rom), people are still reporting bugs. I prefer a stable rom with almost no bugs.

Thanks, but which rom supports substratum and vulcan, if not RR Remix?
And which Recovery would be good, ZCX or Official TWRP 3.0.2.2?

Hi, I just came to know that volte doesn't work on CM marshmallow properly, it is true?

Best Nougat ROM for Condor

It's been 5 or 6 months since our little beast got the Nougat update thanks to our developers who are doing amazing job with our 3 year old device.
I want to know Is there any Nougat ROM which is absolutely stable, and with great battery life like MM ROMs.
Since Xposed for Nougat is not ready at the moment, Greenify and Amplify are not that effective. I am not a flasholic who try every ROM so plz suggest me the absolute best one of them you use. It will also help many other users who want a stable Nougat ROM.
PS: I have tried CM14.1 , RR 5.8.0
Now back to RR 5.7.4 MM

Every ROM is not perfect. I will only be able to suggest you according to your priority.
If you need best battery life & performance then try Cardinal, Aoscp, DU, Aosp-CAF
If you want decent battery life & performance with lots of customization then try RR (by anderson), AEX and LOS (it will give you a better performance but you won't get Theme support).

Cardinal was the best MM ROM I've used in terms of battery and stability but is not for Nougat yet.
I just want a stable ROM with everything working fine(including ROOT) and good battery life( upto 5 hours of SOT) and can be used for a like long time.

Cardinal will be back soon. You can try Citrus ROM made by the same team. Be aware you won't get updates soon. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120712605
I would suggest you to go for DU or AOSCP both are great.
The latest DU rom is https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862719486
And for aoscp wait as within a week you will get updated v3.6.2 on their official site.

ROM for 2gb kenzo

Hello there! I am looking for the fastest rom for 2gb variant of kenzo. It can even be a marshmallow, nougat or Oreo. Every rom I tried was working poorly after a week or so.
What rom will be the most stable/fast working? Thanks!

My phone shuts down randomly while running AEX. This is the only rom that gives me such problems. Do you have any idea why? Or if there is any good rom you could recommend?

if you are using latest AEX, then please look at the version 5.4 which is stable for daily usage. 5.6 has some problem as it is based on new device tree .
Mcaosp latest + Agni 12.9 is also a very good option you can try it. mcaosp latest has very good battery backup. always clean flash the os . Use gaaps by Mcaosp also .

Thank you for your answers! I want to ask for one more thing. What settings do you recommend while installing agni kernel? I always wondered if I should just select default options or if there are better choices.
ABC. Default kernel. Been using it continuously for more than a month

That's supposed to be it. Pretty old now

Which is currently the most stable custom rom for Kenzo ( RN3)?

I have used NOS but it is lagging too much whenever an app draws over another. I am currently using AEX. which is much better but AEX has a lot of bugs. I want to know the best oreo custom rom which is stable and everything working fine..
Don't use Oreo. Nougat is the best for our device, RRD Nougat or AEX 4.6 are the best roms. I have hope for Android P being better

Which is Best rom between RR oreo 8.1.0 and Aosp pie 9.0?

Which one is best rom according to your opinion?
1. Resurrection Remix oreo 8.1.0
2.Aosp pie 9.0
I am currently using RR july build. Is it worth to flash Aosp rom? I need performance. I don't need beast battery.

aosp 9.0 is discontinued, you better flash LOS 16 (currently I'm using it) but I'll let you know that this rom is so pure right now there is no customization etc. and xposed is not available for pie. but this rom is so stable (at least for myself)
using los 16 myself seems stable
linease os 16 so far so good for me now.
very good performance & battery life.
