Touchscreen issue - Honor 10 Questions & Answers

Hello everyone,
I have an issue with my honor 10 touchscreen, I've been using it for almost 2 months. It started oneday with a double tap problem, then it clicks everywhere on the screen and now there is places that doesnt work on it. I guess that it's a software issue for that I don't want to replace the touchscreen.
I'm waiting for your answers.
Thank you. :good:

Is your bootloader unlocked?
If yes try if the touchscreen is working with TWRP recovery.
If yes: Software issue
If not: Hardware issue

How to find is my bootloader is unlocked?
what's a TWRP recovery ?
Thanks

[Q] XPERIA P Touch Problem

guyz my touch screen is not working on most part of the screen, i think flashing stock rom might fix the problem.
1. only problem is i can not switch on the developer options and debugging options without which i can not flash using Flashtool.
2. also i don't have recovery installed so i can not install custom roms.
is there any solution to do that?
any help will be appreciated. :crying:

YOU DO NOT NEED TO ENABLE ADB FOR FLASHMODE!
That being said you could try to flash stock rom but it's probably a problem with your hardware. Flashing stock ftf is worth a shot but don't keep your hopes high. You will probably need to change your digitizer.

It may be hardware related, but I think it's more the software. I think the software isn't right for your device, that's why the error occurs. Do the volume rockers work in recovery? If yes, then it's definetly a wrong firmware for your device.

Moto e Speaker Malfunction

I am facing this problem for past 1 month..
All of a sudden speaker stops working..I am not able hear any songs, ringtones and even I am not able to hear other person over the call (also person on call can't hear me), proximity sensor also doesn't work..
But if I put to loudspeaker during a call it starts working..!!
I tried clearing cache, that did the trick 2 times.. But now the problem has again come up and I am out of tricks...
I have not unlocked the boot loader..
So now I have 2 possible solutions AFAIK..
1. Give the phone to customer care
2. Flash a custom ROM
I am open to both, which one should I opt for? I am more inclined towards flashing, what should I do please help..

facing the same problem... so more moto e users face this problem.... I already rooted and unlock the bootloader. I cannot take to service centre, can I try custom ROM? If so, which one will be best for call sound etc.? and is this hardware related or software?

Try cm11, it's a perfectly stable ROM, you may also try cm 12.0
If it's a hardware problem then naturally flashing a custom ROM won't solve it
Hit Thanks if that was helpful

Go to customers service if you have warranty
flashed stable release CM11 now everything seems alright...tried to flash CM12 initially but was stuck at bootloop hence opted for CM11...hope i don't face the same problem again...thanks for pitching in guys
This is a known issue. There is actually a loose connection at the speakers inside moto e.
If u take it to a service center, they will fix it in just 10 mins.
Before that, try removing the back cover and pressing near the speaker area. It worked for me.

couldn't able to hear voice over calls

I restored MIUI back from official CM13. After the restore if I make/receive calls I am not able to hear the voice but I don't have such problem before. I wiped cache and dalvik but still no improvement. Any workaround?

Yea. I bound to stick with CM. And I wonder no one gave any suggestion/solution. This is too bad
That's the problem with rn3 , there is so many complications in flashing different ROM's and getting worrying about bootloader getting relocked.
Why it is not easy like other devices in bootloader once unlocked , one can flash any rom and bootloader remains unlocked. ?
Please check this thread for my doubts- http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/help/complication-flashing-official-miui-t3443294/post68267543#post68267543

Question Reinstalling with incorrect mobile carrier

Hello everyone, I know it may look stupid, but I, unfortunately, chose an incorrect mobile carrier when I am using the google pixel 6 repair tool. My phone is now stuck on the `installing system update' and i have no idea what should I do
Why were you using the Pixel Repair tool?
Is your bootloader unlocked?

It is because I replaced my screen, and I have been misled to reinstall to reactive my fingerprint sensor...
I just find that there is another option for the fingerprint sensors, but it is too late for me because my phone is stuck now...

You didn't answer my question. Is your bootloader unlocked? Why did you decide to use the Pixel Repair Tool after replacing your screen?
A factory reflash should be all that is necessary, but I need more information from you before I provide a recommendation.

Thank you for your help. I just restart my pixel and it works now... but the fingerprint calibration seems failed and it seems it is a common problem that has no solution at this moment.
