Sounds like some glass protectors are too small or don't stay put..
Has anyone used a tempered glass screen protector and hard case combo that they can recommend?
If someone can recommend and provide photo's I'd be grateful!:good:

It's true that tempered glasses protectors will not stay long in your phone, but in Aliexpress I found a cheap solution for a full protection for my Honor 10 (less than 4€).
First of all, type in Aliexpress "360 case honor 10" and you will see the case that I attach you in pictures. This case is good because take the tempered glass along the corners and so on, so doesn't matter if the tempered glass doesn't have glue.... because anyway, will stay in the screen because the cover.
And of course, you have also full screen tempered glass. Also in Aliexpress I found it per less than 2€. I attach you my screen protector also.

Aliexpress quality i tried several...
They will likely cause color distortion and possibly break the glass under your phone more easily than the more professional brands...
Like... just in case... OR.. pantzerglass
Also, the cheap Aliexpress glasses didnt stick.
The 360° cover definately sticks.. But i wouldnt trust it for abovementioned reasons.
Cheap glass often feels sticky too. Good glass is very oily to the touch.

@xitopodo : How do you manage the fingerprint scanner with that kind of cover ? It looks like you can't use it as a navigation bar. I have my honor for two days, and I find this function very intuitive.

It's not a problem, due to both items (tempered glass and cover) have the hole of the fingerprint and you can use it without problems Also no problem with both items if you use Face ID
What do you think about Nillkin ? I'm hesitating with their products :

I always think that the expensive glass is no different (correct me if I'm wrong!) so I never spend that much on the glass.
The case would probably be alright, Nillkin seem to be a good brand.

Hello all, bought my Honor 10 recently. I ordered a silicone clear back cover and 2,5D glass screen shield. I was surprised that the phone had some kind of screen protection already in. Do you think I should keep this original one on the phone or remove it and replace it? Thank you very much for tips.

I bought the glass one to replace for mine.
The glass will feel nicer (although the pre-installed film is not bad) and will also protect it better because the protector smashes instead if your screen!
The only problem is I'm bad at installing them and get OCD about the dust!

Coming back after receiving the frosted case and the fully transparent tempered glass.
The frosted case is really good, I like it but I don't like the tempered glass, it seems like it's hard plastic, very flexible.

It is the best tempered glass I've ever tested. It adheres perfectly to the phone screen, even on the edge (after using the liquid in the box). With the plastic applicator we can't go wrong during installation. Great advice.

After more than a month i'm completely satisfied with this glass. I only had to refill gaps with the given liquid once. Feeling it gives while tapping is the same as original glass.

I picked these up on Ebay for my Zuk. Tempered glass fits well to edge of screen, and the back cover fits perfect as well, and recesses the buttons slightly to prevent accidental presses.

I can confirm that this case is excellent.

There's a Nillkin tempered glass screen protector. Seems very robust. I ordered it together with that case (not the one you get with case) and I'll tell you my opinion when I get it.

I have to agree with you there, I also got the film screen protector with my Nillkin case, maybe that would work better than glass?
Applying tempered glass
I just got a tempered glass protector but my issue is the screen protector that came with the phone is so difficult to remove! Any ideas because I am eager to put on the tempered glass.

Screen protector? My phone didn't come with one.
I hope you aren't trying to peel off the white coating or something.

The case fits the phone quite nicely and barely adds any bulk. The back has a nice texture on it which makes the phone slightly less slippery. There was a also a plastic screen protector included in the package.

It feels slightly flimsier than the Nillkin case and the material isn't as hard. The surface has a soft feel to it.
It also came with a screen protector.

This case is good but bumper is of plastic which is delicated.
I have tried every thing out there and ended up with everything Nillkin, case and screen
I have the black/gold Ipaky case and a tempered glass screen protector. I like them both.

I also have an iPaky case bought from ali express. (Black version in my case)
Build quality is good an the case stays higher than the screen protecting it from falls.
The back is super grippy with a nice pattern.
For a screen protector i use a tempered glass one which is stronger than a normal plastic screen protector and doesn't leave bubbles after being applied.It costs a bit more than ordinary screen protectors but you can get one for as low as 1€ from Aliexpress.
I own two cases, one is a simple one with a transparent black color while the other one has an Audi sportscar drawn on it.
So here is what I got:
Aksberry tempered glass screen protector
Pros:
good fit
Tempered glass does seem very hard
rounded edges don't catch on things (like pockets)
Cons:
seems to reduce sensitivity of touch screen
mine has a flaw that has created a bubble under it. It is on the lower edge, so it doesn't affect its operation, just an annoyance to look at.
Nillkin case
Pros:
good fit
edge extends above screen (and screen protector)
extends above buttons. This also helps prevent accidental button presses (am I the only person who thinks that power button is in exactly the wrong spot?)
Cons:
haven't noticed any
Currently using the iPaky case with the silver frame. I love it. The iPaky cases are one of the best out there. I have also a leather flip cover, it's nice but I don't use it much for whatever reason.

My s7 is on the way and I was planning to get a proper case on it[Suggestions welcomed] since its all glass
But I can't figure if I should get a normal screen guard or a tempered.
Earlier on my nexus 5 i always went for tempered glass and used to have a Spigen cover on it and yet its broken[THE SCREEN]
i Plan to be extra careful with my phone now and take good care of it.
i feel if i install a case and a tempered glass on it the front screen protection provided by the case gets changed to cause the tempered glass is sticking out.
So shall i just apply a normal screen guard and a good case? would that be enough?
Also i stay in INDIA[MUMBAI] so i might not have acesss to all the cases and tempered glasses, my friend suggested to apply the glass from samsung store it self, it would be pricey but if its worth it, i'll go for it.

Hello, I'm using the normal plastic screen protector from the local store with a case which gently covers the front. Kinda like a armour case. I guess s7 doesn't have full screen cover

Cause Nokia 7 plus Chinese version starts sell one month ago, there are bunches of cases and tempered screen on taobao (AliExpress).
Haven't found a good case / screen protector yet.
I just ordered the liquid nano screen protector stuff from Spigen - I know the liquid screen protector stuff is hotly debated, but according to many reviews it at least provides SOME protection - its obviously not going to be as good as a dedicated glass screen protector.
For cases, I'm still using the one it shipped with (in Germany) while I look for a high quality new one (cough SPIGEN cough..).
Keep us posted if you find a high quality nice case!

I got the European version and it indeed included a basic transparent silicone case.
Yeah i'd love a spigen tough armor case for it, it's such a great youtube device having a case with built in stand is perfect.

No, it's on the same level as the glass. Only protects side and back. Not the top and bottom.
Screen protector is to small and not really protective.

I got the liquid screen protector from amazon.de as well. It came overnight! The one I got is actually also made by spigen.
Unfortunately the liquid is never going to be as good as an actual glass or plastic film you put over your screen, but it is definitely better than nothing. Just google (or search on amazon.de) "Spigen Liquid Nano".
I still have not, hwoever, found a good and pretty case that will ship to Germany at a reasonable time

Case looks great, a pity it hides the Nokia logo on the back.
I buyed a brando tempered screen protector a got it. TRied to put the glass but at border at glass not fit right ( i think beacuse it litle curved a glass edges )...
just bought this today, and the units here in the Philippines do have the free transparent case. no screen protectors or tempered glass available, though

I'm using the GlazedInc Curved Tempered Glass on my note 7 pro. It's Rs.450 but it has actual 2.5D Curved Edges (Unlike the typical flat edge glass) and the black borders don't intrude into the display. Have done a detailed review on the channel so you guys can see the same.

I tested this today and have to say really impressed for now.
It works solid, fits well, handling is nice, not too heavy and decent sturdiness. The glass screen guard is great as well and display is not impacted at all.

For the tempered glass, I got "Micvir Edge To Edge Tempered Glass" from Flipkart.
It's good; has a proper cutout for the earpiece and doesn't block the notification led. Doesn't come with screen wipes though.
Still looking for a case.

How has your experience been so far? Do you have the side edges of the display slightly cut off because of the black borders on the screen protector? Any other comments?
Best tempered glass
glazedinc tempered glass is the best one it's quality is good as nilkin glasses, it's full glue and it has a real curved edge which perfectly aligns with the phone's 2.5d curvature, but it's only available in their website.

I ordered this armour type case from Amazon.in for ₹ 439. Hard, durable build and fits well too. Has a ring holder in the back which can be used as a kickstand too. Not too much heavy like the other armour cases. Display is protected too with around 1.5mm raise and camera lens is protected too. I would recommend this case to everyone.

I think i got a great deal! The back case is sturdy and covers the screen edges and the camera bump too... The tempered is good as well.. So overall for rs 130 its a steal

These are all same generic tempered glass. Just the seller is changed. If you want best protection, buy something from nilkin. Glazedink also make pure edge-to-edge tempered glass. They are worth the money.
