[Q] Hot to... / Instructions

Hi everyone,
can someone tell me where i can find a detailed instruction, how to put onother rom on my Galaxy Tab 10.1v?
I am absolut new to this and i need an instruction how to flash from the beginning (preperation) till the end (finished flashed device).
I find the roms and everything, but nowhere an instruction.
Please help me
Thanks a lot!
chris
Hem...don't you see the stickies ?
However, on advice : use Ubuntu to work things out...
I dont want ubuntu, i want, 3.1 witz touchwiz...
You don't get it : using Ubuntu as an OS allows you to flash the Recovery (needed to flash ROMS) more easily than Windows.
Again : check the stickies ! Unlock your bootloader and get root is all you need.
Okay, got this, but then, when i have the 3.1 files, what then? There is noch instruction, sorry, but i am new to this, everyone startet once for the first time like me. So please be paitent

help in installing JellySnap V7.0

Good Morning
how can i install JellySnap Rom 7.0 For I9100 ?
should i root my device first or install a custom recovery or something ?
Thank you
Read the thread, follow the instructions - of course you're going to need a custom recovery to flash almost all custom roms, and obviously you're going to need to root your phone to do that.
So where can i find the thread of the custom recovery and the root?
and how to install them ?
By searching like everyone else.
i searched on the forum and found some threads but i am not good in English so i cant understand but i found This and understood what it says
http://www.droidviews.com/root-and-...laxy-s2-gt-i9100-on-android-4-1-2-jelly-bean/
should i follow the thread ?

Custom Kernel Development For Neo

HI guys, after waiting for so long I finally decided that its time to do something for the Neo, as there are no custom kernels for our device I decided to take the matters in my hands. After doing some research and following some video guides i succeeded in :-
.Installing Ubuntu (VMWARE) v14.02
.Installing packages required for developing
.Setting up a toolchain
Now I am stuck at the last process as mentioned in the guide. I already created a zImage file, but i cant find the ANYKERNEL.zip required to flash the kernel. If someone knows any dev, or can help me with it, it will be appreciable.
Following I provide the link for the video and guide:-
The main video guide :- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IV4jhXWc7AE (also watched the 2nd part).
The guide from where i got the link for tool chain as the NDK from android.developers.com was .bin file and I was not able to figure out how to use it. :- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVZrh7aBIw4
Please if any dev can help me please PM me
Regards. :fingers-crossed:
EDIT:- Mods if i have posted this in wrong section, please move this thread to the correct section as I have a very limited knowledge regarding post
man thanks for your efforts first of all.secondly if you are getting stuck somewhere then its best to contact a dev who has worked on exynos processor before.for example try contacting a dev who have made a kernel for note 3 exynos version they are our best chance...thanks again and i really want to help but i know nothing about kernels

Kali Linux and Huawei Mate 10 Lite problem.

Sorry if I am posting this to the wrong forum. It's my first time posting to XDA. Also sorry if this is a stupid question (it most likely is).
As the title says:
I have a Huawei Mate 10 Lite (RNE-L21)
Bootloader: Unlocked
Recovery: TWRP ( One from ROM's thread wouldn't work for me so i found other one. I didn't save the link, but i can provide .img )
ROM: LineageOS 15.1 ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/ma...ment/rom-lineageos-15-1-mate-10-lite-t3823234 )
I wanted to use my device as a pen-testing tool so I installed Kali Linux using Linux Deploy and after everything was ready I tried to put my internal network card into Monitor Mode and... I realized that my phone doesn't support that. I have read that the solution is to use external adapter ( I have standard TP-LINK TL-WN722N ) but to do this I need to clone my kernel form it's source, do some fixing and build it. But here is the thing... The instructions are too unclear for me. English isn't my native language. I am actually quite good at english, but it's not enough for something as complex as this. ( After a couple of tries I checked if maybe porting NetHunter's kernel would be somewhat easier, but here the instructions are even more unclear. )
Could someone please: link some clear or more detailed guide ( for fixing and building normal kernel or porting NH's) or build the kernel for me? ( I'll provide some files if needed )

Excuse me, I am sorry that this is off-topic and doesn't really help your problem, but I would appreciate it a lot if you tell me how you unlocked your bootloader, I tried everything available and failed. If I am successful in doing so I will attempt installing NetHunter myself and inform you of how is it going to go on.

Jeez. I didn't even remember making this post until I got an email saying you replied to it lol. We'll if memory serves right, it was right around the time that Huawei decided they wanna undo the last good thing about their phones and took down the bootloader unlock service. I searched everywhere, but for some reason at the time the only solution seemed to be DC Unlocker. It's not ideal cuz the guy who made the tool knew that apparently only he knew a way around Huawei's security and could retrieve the code from within the phone, so he put everything behind a paywall, but at the time it was like 4€ so I just gave in and paid so I can have a usable phone with no Chinese spyware. Maybe now there are some other methods besides DC Unlocker, but I have no idea since I don't use that phone anymore. Also if you decide to use that tool read the instructions carefully beacuse when I was doing it I'm pretty sure it worked only if you were below Android Oreo. Good luck mate.
