You would install it through the Beta app.

Try with eRecovery, it might work.

The beta app doesn't have any option to flash, it's only for report bugs. The eRecovery doesn't have a restore option neither.
I opened a chat with huawei and they told me to restore using Hisuite with a "back to another version" option, but this option doesn't exist in the app.

Can you post a screenshot with the eRecovery screen?
To access eRecovery, you must connect usb cable first, then power on the device with Power +Volume UP combo.

Ah, I tried with the normal recovery.
I've tried using erecovery but it fails searching for the rom

Hi,
Did you manged to solve it i am having the same problem

Actually, how did you get beta?
If you used FH you would have to use that to roll back as you're not approved for Beta.

Hello.
I updated my phone from Android 5.0 to 6.0 through the EMUI update. It downloaded succesfully, and when I pressed install, it went into TWRP recovery and started installing it. It had some unknown command-errors, but after a while the installing was ready and the phone turned off automatically.
Now, when I try to turn my phone on, it doesn't do anything. I holded down the power on button for about 15 seconds, and it vibrated but nothing happened.
Any solution for this, please?

I don't think you can make an official update with TWRP :\ If you want to update your device with the official built-in updater, you must get rid of TWRP and install back the EMUI recovery. Try flashing an official Firmware with Huawei extractor + adb flash. You czn find a lot of people talking about it around here.

Okay, found Honor 7 firmwares here http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7/general/plk-l01-firmwares-updates-official-beta-t3272205
Should I install the 5.0 firmware, the rollback from 6.0 to 5.0 firmware, or the 6.0 firmware?

Well, there's no way to know if your firmware flash was successful or not. I suggest you try with 5.0, if it doesn't work try 6.0. You can try downgrade package in last resort.
The computer is not detecting the phone with adb. adb devices = nothing. I have the correct drivers.
I think the problem might be that USB debugging is turned off in my phone...anyway to flash a firmware now?
Can anyone help me? I only need the answer if it is fixable or not..

Okay, I tried to flash a firmware trough the sd card with the dload...nothing happens...
Is my device fully bricked...?
Oh, now I get it. I need to flash an .IMG file. But can I do that with USB debugging disabled..?

Phone must be connected to PC, reboot with push and keep power button + volume down. You must be unlocked to flash via fastboot.

Got my KIW-L21 softbricked

Hi,
so, I got my Honor 5x rooted and CM 13 installed a few months ago from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/hon...-unofficial-cyanogenmod-13-0-nightly-t3344499.
Last week or so some apps just didn't exist any more on my phone. Also I wasn't able to download any kinds of things, like apps, documents, pictures or whatever. After some time I figured out, that it was because of my SD-card being dead. When I removed it, all was fine again.
Another problem, that I got from the beginnning of having this ROM installed, I wasn't able to do updates, still don't know why exactly.
So I decided to wipe my phone and reinstall a newer version of CM in hope, that all would be fine again.
After performing backups and so on, I downloaded the latest build of CM from the official website (the one from 1st october) and GApps with ARM64, pushed it on my device and tried to install it with TWRP 3.0.2. I did a full wipe before, also deleting internal storage and System.
Error 7 occured and after some Internet research I read about this "assert" line. Figured out, that I got 2 oft them in this file and deleted the second telling something about the TB number, because it was also named in the error of TWRP.
Then pushed it on the device again and tried to install it. There was no error while installing, but after optimizing the apps, I got bootloops. Tried flashing other ROMs, including the one I got two days before, but it still got the same problem.
Also this huawei eRecovery thingy couldn't help me.
Now I don't know how to get an OS on my phone again, it would be very nice if someone could help me.
I also don't know whether there is a thread, that already deals with this topic, but I didn't know how to search for this.
If there is anything left unclear I'm very sorry, it's my first time posting, please excuse.
Thank you!

No problem mate, Community is Here to help!
The matter is, ROMs built after 18/8/2016 requires that you upgrade to Marshmallow stock ROM that means EMUI 4.0.
then you can flash the custom ROMs without problems.
If you're on bootloop, can you boot to fastboot or TWRP manually?

Try to get back to stock firmware, to do that download the latest firmware, extract to get dload folder containing UPDATE.APP, use Huawei update extractor to extract recovery, Cust, boot and system images.
Flash them to your phone using fastboot, put dload folder in the root of an SD, insert it in your phone and press and hold vol up + vol down + power until the phone boots up to force an update.
Have you already tried this? If not, do this please.
If yes, please elaborate "erecovery could not help me*...

What file did you get (link) ?
theirs no need to use the HuaweiUpdateExtractor, unless you need the stock recovery from it.
all you need is Stock recovery (installed) and the Update.app for your current version
Update.app goes in a folder named dload on the sdcard, now simply shut the phone off and restart it while holding power + volup + voldown
after 5 seconds let go of the power button and continuing holding the vol buttons till you see the update begin (around 25 seconds)

Redmi Note 3 Pro SE (Kate) - can not bind device to account

I flashed my phone with kate_global_images_7.5.19_20170519.0000.00_6.0_global in order to unlock the bootloader via mi unlock. The phone has successfully connected to mi cloud and can be located on the i.mi.com website. If I go into developer options and tap on the button to bind the phone to my account for unlocking it just keeps telling me to try again in another couple of minutes. This seems to be a really common problem and I haven't been able to find a solution. Any ideas? Thanks.
Same here. Been waiting for 5 days now after getting permission. Still fails to bind. This whole official unlock way is a total POS. It even says after you are granted permission you can unlock right away but that's not true at all. I also have SE and dev rom btw.
maybe try to flash miui 8 via fastboot..
i used fastboot rom miui 8 , miflash (not xiaomiflash) ver 2016, and unlock ver 1.1..

MIUI 8 what? The dev rom 7.x is MIUI 8. Do you mean dev or stable? I was on MIUI 8 stable before but it didn't help.
my issues, evrytime i flashed miui rom, my imei isn't showing up (i need to official unlock to flash lastest los)
i tried some rom dev 7.x.x.x , but i cant login mi account via wifi.
then, i flashed this rom with miflash 2016 (mine is kenzo)
http://en.miui.com/thread-439892-1-1.html
and it works, i can unlock my phone without imei..

I think the "can not bind" problem is specific to Kate. The IMEI problem with your Kenzo phone is probably a separate issue.

Doesn't work - complains that the deivice isn't bound to the account
There is no point trying anything. Nothing works. I have a 3 month long email chain with xiaomi support, which ended by them saying I should contact the direct seller. Basically they washed their hands. I ended up sending my device to a guy, who has a xiaomi service licence, and he managed to unlock it officially with his code.
If you cannot bind your account and device for two weeks with multiple tries, you should just give up on the "mainstream" unlock procedure. It will never work, and the only thing that comes out of it is slowly bulding rage.
It's not worth it.

Check mate 10 and 20 forums there are guides to solve your problem.
Hisuite won't work as it's hard bricked.
Btw which emui 8 version build did you flash ?
What is its xloader version?
What build are you before using this method?

I was on EMUI 9.0.0.190 (not sure if this was the exact one, it was the latest version as far as I know)and tried to downgrade to EMUI 8.0.0.171. Dunno the xloader version.
Also I borrowed my friend's DC Phoenix account and was following it's guide. Does anyone know which board this phone has so that I can download it's software.

-open up device
-install com1.0 drivers
-touch testpoint
-flash a working bootloader via DC-Phoenix BUT UNCHECK 'FLASH OEMINFO' ; when you are back in fastboot mode :
-DON'T USE a BoardSoftware file.
-just flash your B190's update.app with DC-Phoenix

It's already coming as COM 1.0 in device manager. Trying to flash update.app (only fastboot part) but it shows no device detected to upgrade. Had downloaded a board software and clicked update button. I clicked update button and it detected the device but showed that I don't have enough credits.

full update cust/preloader

Hi all,
Im in trouble with my phone beacuse im in demo mode, is there any option to full update.
Ps. I updated to 9.1, but cust rom and preloader are same (maybe cause bootloader is locked, frp unlocked).
I need your help, please!
I check my model I used hisuite method.
basic: 9.1.0.300
cust: 9.1.0.21
preload: 9.0.0.17
As you see preload stick in 9.0. I guess that is kind normal.
PS. You can check before you flash if using Hisuite.
If your model is supported by Hisuite nvm
1. If not,edit C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\HiSuite\userdata\UpdateDogDev\HiSuiteConfig.xml
by replacing either LYA-L09/LYA-L29 to your specific model and then use system repair function via fastboot.
2. Go check C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\HiSuite\ROM
you can see basic/cust/preload version officially supported if some still in 9.0 then It meant to be 9.0.
Good luck
