Hi is anyone able to sign into their textnow app on the media pad m5? Every device in my house can sign in except for this one I was wondering if it's something with the device.

Trying to find app that uses sms to access information instead of a data plan

I'll keep this brief:
Awhile back I found this app that lets you use sms to find information that you would usually need a data plan for. For example if you're trying to find a movie theater the app sends out a text to a server database with all the listings of movie theaters in your area, and then sends a text back to you with all the information it gathered.
My problem is that I can't find this app, I've forgotten the name of it and have been ruthlessly searching google for the past few days. I was wondering if anyone knows the name of this app/a link where I can download it.
Thanks a ton!

[Q] Send location / directions to someone?

Is there any way to send your current gps location or directions to your gps locaton to someone?
I used to be able to this on my Galaxy Note but I can't seem to find a way on the Lumia.
If you drop a pin on, say, Caring Cross Road, in Maps and click it and choose send via text or email, the email just says something like "checkout Charing Cross Road" and not contain map reference to your exact location!
Is there any way to do these things?
I'm using Whatsapp to send my location. Also there are some Apps that use Google Latitude gMaps is one of them. Also with gMaps you can share the exact coordinates if you prefer this way of sharing.
There is an app echoecho available in the marketplace. I've never used it, but it seems to be made exactly for this job...

[Q] Plan B Alternative

update to this...
I pushed the app "Android Lost", and "Android Lost Jumpstarter".
I was able to
1) have the phone call me with this app,
2) get the phone number,
3) request a password reset on the t-mobile account
4) pull the texted password from the phone,
5) login to the tmo account
6) acquire owners name, address, lines
7) pulled GPS location, went to her work location.
8) Gave her a chance to return my phone. After refusing, had a police office retrieve my phone.
Wonderful app. Will be donating.
Plan B fell short. Way short.
I lost a phone recently, and someone found it. Unfortunately, the one who found it was not honest, and it has not been returned.
I found the app "Plan B", which is wonderful, except i never got the emails giving me any location info. The person who now has the phone has swapped sim's, so i cant text "Locate" to it. Also, since google play wont allow you to uninstall, Im pretty much stuck now. What i really need is a app like Plan B, but one that listens to email, or reports back to a server, and can be deployed via google play without any intervention on the phone. I just need a current in use phone number emailed to me... or a location...
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

If you had Google maps installed, and you joined Latitude on the device. You can check it's location through Google Maps on your PC at home.

[Q] App or way to send address to car nav

Hi, I'm new to windows phone and loving my new Nokia 920. Does anyone know of a way to send an address found in Nokia maps or any other application to the nav system of your car? Coming from android there was an app called send2car that worked with google maps. You find where you're looking to go in google maps and then hit share and choose your car (in my case a BMW) and the car would then receive a message with the address and I would just click navigate. Very simple way of entering destinations in your nav system. Is there a way to do this on windows phone? Thanks everyone!

Amazfit watch app

I just received my amazfit pace watch today. Charged it up fully and turned it on and it displayed the QR code. I then installed the latest watch app from Google store. In opening it I but the " I agree" button for the terms and conditions and then tried to sign up but it gave me a "login failed" message. I then tried to login using the Google button. It allowed me to choose my Google account but then presented me with a login failed. Same thing for Facebook. Any ideas on how to create an account and log into app?

Just for info it was a connectivity issue. I disabled my WiFi connection on my phone and enabled my 4G mobile data and was able to create an account on the app
I emailed support as I can't sync using WiFi. I have entered the password in the app and says it is connected but have to use 4G
i using huawei nova2i, not sure is it the device is too new. the apps seems like haywire. sometimes it will auto disconnected. but from the watch itself said is connected...
ahhh. seems like xiaomi stuff act like iphone only their own brand will have a great connectivity...
i using 2 xiaomi phones never had this

I am having similar problems. I cant register through the app, it will not show the I agree button for the user agreement. I have registered at Mi.com and en.miui.com and it says the account doesn't exist. I have turned off WiFi and used 4G still no success. I am using a Umidigi Z2 does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my watch to work?
Call the Support telephone
I called Amazfit support a moment ago and described the issue, "no user agreement and unable to proceed." Was told they are aware there is a problem with the app and that they'd issue a fix by tomorrow, Saturday, or perhaps Monday. I'm going to wait and see. They took my contact data and say they'll email me when fixed.
Regards,
A.
edit: A moment ago I received an email saying the issue was fixed. The timing was so immediate it was uncanny. Sure enough it now works for me. My issue is resolved. I wish others here the same luck.

A.
Hi guys since two weeks ago I cannot sign in with the Google account, anybody knows something about that ?
I can not simply use another login way because I need my data, could you post the phone number of support team, I'm going to call there, from web site support I have no answer

Guys the PACE usually comes with a backdated ROM which only connects upto Android v7. If you are running Oreo PACE wont connect. Grab a mobile with Android 7. Install Amazefit app from playstore and sign in with your google account (sign up if you dont have it). It should connect now. Then update the ROM of the watch.
After update install the app on your phone (the one running Oreo) from playstore and connect.
