Looks like LG released the Oreo Update for AT&T LG G5 H820?

I don't use the Verizon variant, rather, a normal LG G5 SE. When I attempt to fetch a software update via LG Bridge, it simply says something along the lines of 'LG Bridge is busy, reconnect'.
I've checked for an update using my phone and there's nothing. What should I do?

Hi,
I have the LG G5 H831 (Canadian model) and it's still on Marshmallow, even when I click check for update it says my OS is up to date.
Knowing that I'm not in Canada and I'm not using a Canadian cell provider, how can I update my G5 to Nougat? because I think there were already Nougat for this phone.

I managed to get it updated to Nougat by using the LG Bridge on my laptop.
From LG Bridge I went to Software Update and it did find the new OS, downloaded it and installed it.
Hi guys i did sent email to LG India for Oreo update, they are not sure also. It's longer and longer waiting for Oreo for LG h930ds Indian version.
No Oreo updates on LG bridge also. Why this model stuck on the android version 7.1.2 that was out of the box.
So frustrating LG India H930DS model.
If like this next time i won't buy LG phone from India.

Well if you want to update, search on the other thread, there is one where you can update to Oreo by using the Uppercut and the LGUP software over the pc.
But i believe the update will come soon sometime this month, just checked on the G6 forum and i heard that finally the H870DS version has started to see oreo in APAC region so I'm pretty sure that H930DS will be the next in line as well within days.

Currently im running on 1st March security patch and and software version V10f. Please reply. Your help is appreciated.

not only u bro... all v30+ indian user are running same as your version. Everyone is waiting for oreo update as you. few people forced update to other country oreo

Not only to have Oreo, but for bootloader unlock and root and to have freedom.
Ability to run custom ROMs like Boombox.
You can use CIS H930DS OREO KDZ or H930 Oreo KDZ. In both those threads, I have LGUP attached, which you can use to easily upgrade to Oreo. OR you can go one step further, and bootloader unlock and root before LG releases the update that will BLOCK that.
Lots of India users have done that.
See post #193 of the WTF thread.. Full instructions are there for bootloader unlock and root.

It seems that lg has released the official pie update to Europe and other countries like its home country and the US. Did anyone receive the update for the Indian phone version? (H930DS) Because the v40 has received the update on 2nd aug 2019. If anyone has gotten the update and is using the Indian firmware please do respond and if anyone hasnt received it yet share Your thoughts. Thanks.

Not released yet.
No, Pie has NOT been released to any North American variants (including U.S.) as of today's date. Only Europe and Korea.
When ESA (India) region H930DS Pie KDZ is released, you won't have to ask for it. I have KDZ threads ready to go. It won't be a secret.

Well, LG is going in reverse order. V35 was released in 2018, while V30 was 2017 phone. That's why V40 got Pie before V35, then V35.
Some V30 variants have it, but soon all will.

I recently picked up an unlocked US998 V30 and for whatever reason it's saying there is no update to 9.0 Pie. It's stuck on 8.0 and even the LG Bridge and other Windows software says there is no update. I was under the assumption that all V30 models got Pie. Is there something I can do to upgrade?

Yes.
Go to the US998 Pie KDZ thread. Read post #2 and #6. Update manually by following the instructions. Be aware, this US998 Pie is wonky.

No, not all V30 have Pie. Sprint LS998 still doesn't, nor some H930DS regions.
