Does anyone know where to find AOSPextended ROM for the View 10? - Honor View 10 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other D

I found one place and copy but the patch is very old and out of date as it's not being maintained any more I don't think so it's useable but not ideal for security. Thanks guys.

There are RR/Aosp treble rom which is more update, but you can try to install AEX if you're not care the security patch

all the treble roms have gapps built in by default though right? Which sucks.

not true at all

oh nice! I thought they had to well at least I've always seen them bundled

[ROM][Pixel-XL][7.1.2_r33][Unoffical] PureNexus Project [18/8/17]

G'day guys and girls
I haven't seen PN source code updated for a while on the r33 side, seems they are focusing on the kernel a little bit
So I merged the tags myself and add some features to the ROM
I'LL TRY TO KEEP THE THREAD UPDATED, BUT THERES NO GUARANTEE ON THAT, THE REPO WILL PROBABLY BE UPDATED, IF YOU WANT TO BUILD YOURSELF, GO TO THE REPOSITORY DOWN BELOW
PLEASE NOTICE
This version was NOT signed by the PureNexus's certificates, please do a FULL FACTORY RESET if you are from the offical build.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but this is compulsory
Features
Built in GAPPS (no gmail, Google News and weather and play magazines, don't find them useful since I've got outlook and other replacement)
Built in Greenify
Android 7.1.2_r33 August security level
VoLTE tested
Lineage Terminal
ElementalX 1.15 Kernel (NTFS rw, exFAT, High Brightness Mode, Digital Gain control)
USB Patch for using the phone as a USB HID keyboard/mouse see here
All PureNexus Features
Untested
Since I am in Australia, there's no actual way to test whether Wi-Fi calling works, but it should work considering Project Fi was prebuilted. Please tell me if I need to add anything.

Ok Google works fine for me but I still haven't updated the vendor image. I'm worried I'm gonna screw up the rom. I'm gonna test it now after flashing the correct vendor image.
Ok vendor has been updated and everything is working fine.

If the official PN doesn't have a feature that a user wants, they are within their rights to build a version that incorporates that feature.
And in most cases, if the builder marks it as Unofficial (as is the case here), they are welcome to share it others, on the understanding that no support will likely be given from the official builder.

No, they aren't dead. they seems to focusing on other things especially the kernel and they are preparing for O since all the repos are being moved to the PureNexus-Legacy repo now. So I just built myself also add things for my own use.:fingers-crossed:

Now that we have official builds I think this thread doesn't make much sense anymore.
Can you please delete it?
@Rondeau79
Unfortunately, you currently seem to be the Rodney Dangerfield of XDA for Shamu. For those unfamiliar, Rodney Dangerfield is a comedian who is known for the catchphrase, "I get no respect." First with DU and now with LOS, you are asked to discontinue your threads and builds.
Just for the record, I'm not criticizing you, or DU and LOS! I understand the situation and reasoning behind why these requests were made.
I've used some of your builds on both my Hammerhead and Shamu. I have a great appreciation for those who build roms for those who cannot. So, I thank you for both your effort and sharing your work. Most recently, I used your Omni Nougat build and it was solid. From what I've read on Omni's G+, they are never going to make Shamu official for Oreo. So, maybe Omni would be a good rom for you to build unofficially.
Omni has always been a pretty innovative rom, I think there would be decent interest here in the Shamu community. Anyway, just a thought.
Thanks,
Mike T

I know who Rodney Dangerfield is/was. I can build ROM's fairly well, it took 2 years for me on and off to get CM built. I first started rooting and flashing with a low end Metro PCS phone and I finally got my hands on Hammerhead. I have flashed hundreds of different ROM's and kernels over the years. Back in the days at another forum I used to see official and unofficial builds all the time. If people have an issue with my builds then why is everything so called open source. I guess the old school grassroots base of custom ROM's allure is over. I the problem I face is no one will help me with the programing part of github and what it takes to work out the coding. To any device maintainer that could lend a a helping hand that would be great. I will leave this thread open for a few more days.
@Elektroschmock I really didn't think it would have been such an issue. I get it takes a lot of work to do this, but how is anyone supposed to learn anything without trying it themselves. If I have offended anyone then I apologise.
I personally love UNOFFICIAL builds and don't see any harm especially since OFFICIAL builds can be just as unpredictable and/or unavailable

UPDATE:
I was able to contact him and got an answer
He stated that he did not have an Xperia x to test this ROM
But told that I could test and send feedback if it works or not.
Maybe you can write a PM asking if you can test too! (Anyone who reads this can ask!)
This whole thing feels weird.
On first flash, recovery says the ROM was created by jhenrique09, who is an official maintainer of PE. But after searching both jhenrique09 and PE's official Github, there's no sign of suzu on the list. I'm assuming this is a port. This brings us to another problem.
A quick look at the file name reveals this ROM is based on 4.4 kernel. As far as I know, there is no Pie ROM out there that is using 4.4 kernel (Chippa_a's LOS uses 3.10, Omni and Treble uses 4.9). The closest thing I could think of is Omni 8, but why port a Pie ROM using an Oreo base?
Lastly, who would make a ROM for a phone they don't have?

[CLOSED] Rick's Rom DUB5 SM-N986U1 Snapdragon Safe Update To One UI 3.1

First, I am not responsible to what happens after you flash this. If your phone dose not work afterwords it is your own doing. I didn't force you to flash it..
This is a stock rom for the most part for the Snapdragon Note 20 Ultra U1 that I use as my daily driver. I disabled file encryption, removed knox, fixed screen cast and shealth plus Bluetooth and smartwatch pairing. Most of the Google apps are uninstallable. I'll try to keep this up to date every month the best I can. Enjoy.
You Must Have A Unlocked Bootloader and a SM-N986 U1 or U Ultra to proceed. This Might Wipe Your Data!! Make a Back up!!.
Instructions:
1: Flash with Odin in the respective slots (bl, ap, cp and csc).
2: Wipe and format data in recovery if coming from a different rom or android version.
3: Reboot and set it up.
Enjoy.
See this thread or this thread if you need a unlock. The teams there are great!
Built With SuperR's Kitchen
Thanks @afaneh92 for the unlock and TWRP
Thanks @bklyn_syed for sharing the fixes for Bluetooth and shealth.

I don't think so but I'm really not sure, I haven't looked into it. The big deal for me is downloading more firmware, keeping track of more files, storage space and time. Honestly it's pretty simple to build your own. You can get all the info you need for that here .

I was sitting here debating on whether to go with 10 or 11 lol. Durrr me...I'm all for a custom cleaned up ROM any day over the untouched stock firmware. I see that your ROM is on the latest 11 (CUA1). Nice!
Since your tweaking the universal U1 firmware and since there isn't any carrier bloatware in there, is there much to really remove to make it even more lean and lighter? I know in the old days those firmware's were loaded with bloat and by removing them helped it a lot.
I also noticed that the latest 11 file size was smaller than the latest 10. From what you can see is that from just making 11 more efficient, thus making it lighter?
Regarding the change log:
Disabled File Encryption - Is that for the entire device file encryption or the built in folder encryption that was disabled? What are the benefits from disabling this? Does it just make it smoother even if you don't use the encryption feature on the device?
Removed Knox - Does using a smart watch to use Samsung Pay etc... still a work around even with the device knox removed?
Are there any settings to be able to tweak camera settings to improve the camera? iirc back in the Note 3 and 4 days, a Dev said that there was a value in the image quality or something that was set to I think 8 instead of the max 10? He had maxed that out and included that in the ROM... I'm curious if such adjustments exist in the 11?
Does the CUA1 have the baked in Microsoft Swiftkey (VIRUS) or is that only on carrier firmware's?
I have the Unlocked varaint of the Note 20 Ultra straight from Samsung. Oddly, it came with firmware ATGO, which is ATT lol.. but I'm on TM. What has been annoying is that I can't uninstall the darn microsoft swiftkey.
I love Swiftkey as a keyboard (best touch accuracy IMO), but despise the intrusivemness, so I like to use my own tweaked swiftkey with the internet premissions removed w/ using AFWall+ to block everything else. ie...
The thing is that I haven't been able to install the tweaked swiftkey due to it not letting me since the stock MS one is baked in...

Thanks! I have actually issues after trying to fix Wifi... Think ill start off with TWRP for now and AOSP after that. So we can flash external GApps (or not if wanted). Only Problem is that we have to use a Recovery inside the Kernel Image on 2019 Xperias. Means i have to choose a Kernel. Since we dont get Updates anymore would i bet on the AOSP Kernel since it is what we want to use anyways... Ill ask out the SODP Devs about some Help with that. Xperias from 2020+ can just grab a Recovery Image without the need to choose a Kernel with it. They also use Dynamic Partitions which is different from our 2019 Xperia A/B Static Partitions...
Lot of work to do but think it will go fast with some help

I'll do a resync with April Security Patch and all Apps removed. I'll make TWRP based on it so we can flash GApps and Magisk stuff...
New Build uploading. No Apps included so consider using Magisk Micro G if You want to use it as daily for now.
It's android-12.1.0_r4 so 12L April Security Patch. Wifi should work now. For Camera Please try GCam by BSG or Open Camera. TWRP Comes soon...
Releases · nift4/microg_installer_revived
Install microG GmsCore, GsfProxy, FakeStore (or Play Store if you want so) and MapsV1 to /system/ - nift4/microg_installer_revived

PLeeasssse, leave the Gapps optional, as they could be installed afterwards anyway! This leaves the choice to go for MicroG .
