Hi guys! I have a problem with my wired xbox one controller connected via usb otg to the tablet. It simply doesn't work. Energy arrives cause the led works, but it doesn't connect. With my Mi A1 it works like a charm, plug & play and it's done. I think it could be a kernel problem... How can I fix it?
I'm on the latest miui.eu... maybe with some gsi rom?
Solved: Need custom rom to work. Definitely software problem, maybe a missing file in MIUI

In magisk exist a module to support xbox one controller
But i tried with a gsi image and not works...

As expected works flawlessly with LineageOs 16.0. I think it should work with any custom rom AOSP based
Are you sure it doesn't work? My xbox one controller connects easily with my MIUI 10 Mi Pad 4.

I finally managed to build a OTG cable with external power supply. I tought that the last build of CM 10.2 had the kernel and drivers prepared for OTG but no. Is there ANY other way to install drivers for OTG or another kernel?
If I'm not mistaken our devices never had OTG support to begin with.

Yeah I know that. But I tought that if we could manage to build a OTG cable with external power supply and use Cyanogenmod ( wich is supposed to have a kernel prepared for OTG ) we could finnaly "enable" the OTG feature on our L9.
*Like I said I don't know almost nothing about ROM's, kernels and other stuff.All the information I have is from what I've read on the internet.I put pieces togheter and I've tought that this "sistem" should probably work. :fingers-crossed:
You might try some kernels you find, maybe one of them lets you use OTG.

Yes, as alexbarbu says, although our L9s doesn´t support OTG officially, if you flash a kernel with OTG support (such as the ones I have posted before) and you have a OTG cable with a third extension to a power supply, it is supposed that USB OTG should work on our devices. :good:

Maybe StickMount does the job for self-powered devices. Real on-the-go won't work. My cardreader's power led won't even light up, so no saving jpegs from my dslr.

Yes, they don't share source codes for Kernel and Rom probably thread will be shut down.
Apps work with 320 dpi? If yes thinking to switch from great cloudy to this
Sharing the sourcecode from a stock rom will be hard I guess, kernel well I am not sure about the rules with a stock kernel and with redirecting to other forums like htcmania. But credits from them are also not 100% I guess. But still for the one's who flash it's at your own risk if you cant wait till 5.1.1
Edit: As I remember the chelozteam had cracked titanium backup pro app in their rom. If it's still in it in the latest version then the rom isn't allowed here.

ROM runs very smooth, but i noticed, that wireless storage doesnt work (cant connect from pc) and network traffic indicator doesnt appear on the statusbar. looks like the switch is inactive.
There are certains things stopping me from flashing this rom. For example, its says that it has ux4.0 but's not true, it has custom icons( i dont like them). And The dev isnt a real dev with other roms in his curriculum. I think it offer The same as cloudy but we all know cloudys roms

After trying Ram, X-vitamin, and Echoe kernels with no luck (no signal), flashed data fix for N910F from Aurora rom and I have signal now... Will test this rom for a few hours an see....
Edit: Unusable phone interface. After connecting a call, hang button does not appear. Proximity sensor does not seem to be working on calls.

I did exactly the same but I could make any phone call.... So at the moment I'm back on Nemesis (what is for me by far the best N/ port) together with the AEL 10.8.

All xiaomi betas are stable for everyday use without problems.
I have used them in my redmi note 3 and when I have the bootloader unlocked in my Mi Note 2 I will also use it.

everything is ok, the battery drain 0%-1% with turn off data, wifi and bluetooth and performance is better than hovcos when play games.

Running the Magisk Hide Props Config allowed me to pass SafetyNet with this ROM.
