So you are saying that you get the warning about having an unlocked bootloader, but you can't boot to fastboot? That doesn't make sense...
With the phone off, hold vol down and plug in the USB cable -- what do you get?

provide screen shots and exact steps you are doing.
For example screen shot of download mode
turn phone off
press volume up
insert USB cable
provide screenshot
for entering fastboot
enable oem debug mode
connect USB cable
make sure phone is using photo mode
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
provide screenshot

[Q] How to flash recovery without USB debugging mode activated on a bricked Nexus S?

Hi,
I had flashed the NexusXperia ROM on my Nexus S just recently. After trying it out I restored the stock ICS 4.0.4....
For some reason the phone keeps on showing the HD bootscreen continously without starting up....
I thought of clearing the dalvik and re-installing via restore however now that it's not got any recovery neither is it being detected on my pc....
I remember deactivating the USB debugging mode and probably this could be the reason it's not being detected....
Is there a way to flash recovery without debugging mode switched ON or is there a way to simply switch ON the USB debugging mode from bootloader screen....
ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED ON THIS....
I have tried on windows 7 as well as on Ubuntu....but the device is not detected....thanks in advance.....
- DarKmentoR
On the Nexus S, holding Volume Up while turning on the power will load the bootloader and from there you should be able to use fastboot to install a custom recovery using fastboot. You should not need USB debugging enabled for this to work.

< waiting for device >

Just keeps on waiting for the device....adb not able to detect the device too
The phone is in the bootloader mode and fastboot doesn't detect it? Sounds like it is completely broken then, your only option may be the UnBrickable Mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1566475
Ok...i can see a "FASTBOOT MODE" written in red when i switch on using Vol+ & Power....
Which mode is it ? Fastboot or Download....?

Fastboot is the mode you need to be in for fastboot.exe to detect the phone. Put it into that mode and try to flash the recovery with fastboot.exe using the command you posted above.
I have HUAWEI P smart. I am searching for a firmware for flash my phone.

Cannot get the phone into fastboot

Hi all, I'm trying to unlock the bootloader on my t-mobile variant. I can't get the phone into fastboot trying to hold the volume down+power button when its off. I also cannot get two different computers with adb set up and the proper drivers installed to recognize the phone in adb. Any suggestions?
I couldn't get my tmo V10 into that mode either.

To get to fastboot mode, hold volume down only and plug in usb cable.
For adb use Mfastboot. Download it and extract the zip to your hard drive. From there, open the command window and handle your business. If you are flashing TWRP put it in the same Mfastboot folder.
Here is the link, click the mfastboot text, you do not need any other files from this link.

Turn off Phone
Hold Volume Down and connect the USB cable from PC to Android.

Volume down did nothing.
Volume up started a firmware update that is stuck at 0%. Had to remove the battery to reboot.

Enable USB debugging and then run "adb reboot bootloader" in a terminal
I have LG H960 AY and i cant get into fastboot mode, tryied the adb and up/down while off and connected to pc but nothing works. I'm frustrated

Completely f****d my G-Watch

SO, tl;dr-- My LG G watch turns on, then enters into a point where it is stuck doing the swirling colors boot animation until the battery dies. If I boot into bootloader mode, I cannot do anything other than reboot bootloader or power off. Recovery does not work, when I try it gives me the android guy on his back and tapping the screen does nothing. The restore tool used to be able to interface with my device, but now it does not even show up under 'adb devices.' If anyone could tell me something I can do, it would be greatly appreciated.
Is your bootloader unlocked?
Yes, I have an unlocked bootloader. When I turn the device on, it shows the little 'unlocked' symbol.
If you boot to bootloader mode can you run fastboot commands? If so, download one of the 6.0.1 roms from XDA and then follow the install instructions. If not....hmmm, not sure!

How do I do fastboot commands? I can boot to bootloader mode, and the restore tool talks with my watch and recognizes it as a device sometimes.
Via a USB cable connected to a computer and the fastboot tool installed on that computer. You also need the correct fastboot drivers for this.

I don't see any other way, my opinion is that you should unlock it.
