loaded rom boots then nothing - Huawei Y6 Questions & Answers

The phone I have isbuild no SCL-L01C432B170 emui version 3.1 baseband 11306101 android 5.1.1
Unlocked Bootloader and loaded up rom tried lineage and another compatible one. However phone boots into Huawei logo then screen goes black. It was the same for each rom so not sure if something is wrong with boot. Img
Tried update. App but didn't work either. Not sure how to fix it or if it is bricked.
Back up phone but just bugging me now if it can be fixed
Anyone any ideas

Looks like FRPLock. Did you unlocked OEM in developer options before flashing?

Hi
To be honest I don't remember I did enable development options not sure what else
Used dc unlocker to unlock phone and also remove Bootloader. Then I tried to load rom seems to go okay but won't boot up..
What's my options
Chuck phone in the recycling bin or try something else?

Anyone help with this otherwise phone is going to be recycled
Thanks

Custom ROM and downgrading

Hello,
I'm not the best at flashing and all that, and I'm sure I'm doing something wrong here:
I have the problem like many, there is a 2cm bar over top of the screen where my touch is not responding, sometimes it works, sometimes not. Some say to zap it with a lighter's spark, tried it, didnt manage to do anything; others said custom ROM solves it.
(if you know a fix I'm not aware of, feel free to post).
From the "LineageOS" topic on the Elephone forums it says I need Android 6.0 (tried with 7.0, just to try -> bootloops),
the problem is I cant manage to get 6.0 working on my phone, I flash it with SPFT and when it says its done, my phone doesnt turn on, doesnt charge and does nothing. The only way to get it up and running is to flash stock ROM while holding VOL+ and plugging it in.
What am I doing wrong? Am I misunderstanding the steps? Am I just plain dumb? (probs)
If you need any more info, please ask.
Thanks fellas.
Update:
If I understood corectly you cant downgrade because the bootloader gets also updated to and doesnt allow downgrading if not unlocked, so I went and tried to unlock OEM.
It all works fine and dandy until I get to the "Press Volume UP to unlock or Volume DOWN to cancel" part, when I press UP nothing happens, and when I press DOWN it just cancels.
TWRP is flashed, and is rooted.

Thats wrong, this device comes unlocked by default, which is why you are able to boot twrp.. The reason the device doesnt boot when you try to downgrade is because the preloader is too old, you need to go to the lineage 13 forum and download the preloader tool provided there and flash it, alongside lineage 13 flash it from twrp, it should be android 6, you can still go to android 6 stock rom if you flash stock rom and then the preloader provided in the lineage (the most resent preloader for the 6.0) u should get android 6 stock booting
Thanks for clearing things up, it worked.
Sadly, it didnt fix the touch screen problem, I guess its faulty or something like that, I'll replace it when I've got the funds.
Thanks for the help.

Bootloop - Unlocked P20 Lite

I have Bootloader unlocked, FRP unlocked, TWRP installed. When i flash anything at all, the phone only makes it to the Huawei logo, it does not reach the setup screen. I have also tried flashing with Fastboot, still same scenario. I have googled for days and flashed many zips and imgs. Any insight on what i can be doing wrong will be helpful.
SDcard method aborts at 5%.
eRecovery download does not work.
I am not willing to try DCUnlocker because i will rather take it back to Huawei and pay them.
Solved!
If anyone is in the same situation, let me know I will try to help.

Well, I was replacing a broken lcd screen. (This was not my first screen replacment. Fixing phones for friends and family it's kind of a hobby of mine. )
I turned on the phone and it didn't boot. I got erecovery screen. Tapped to download and update. It found wifi, but it couldn't find necessary file on-line. So I started to google... And in the sea of useless advices I found something I could try. So I installed kirin on the device. Now download and update worked. The device went to reboot after the update and stuck on bootloop. It turnes on, show Huawei logo, and then vibrates shortly (like when you turn on the device). Then the screen goes black, after a while it shows logo, and then vibrates shortly, goes black and so on...
Now, I can still access erecovery and download and update, but it doesn't help. I can also access fastboot.
Also, I have to mention that I'm not that good with software as I am with hardware. And also english isn't my native language so be gentle about that...
So any ideas how to fix this?

Question Phone is turning off by itself after the MIUI 13 update

Hey guys, I've got a very weird problem with my phone which started just after I updated to MIUI 13.. It turns off by itself randomly.
It does it while browsing, texting, etc.. and even when locked. No matter if its charging or on battery. The only situation it doesn't turn off is when playing games, benchmarking or any other heavy task which is very weird as I thought the battery might be on its way out but it doesn't make sense if it works fine with heavy tasks...
The device is 3 months old but recently I replaced the display and the warranty is void now obviously, so I can't use that..
What I tried so far:
- Factory resetting, nothing changed
- Tried with the OEM safe mode, nothing changed
- I downloaded the same update again and flashed it throught the OEM recovery, nothing changed
- I'll try to make a clean install of the ROM when im able to unlock the bootloader which is of course after 7 days
Could it be a hardware issue and.. what it might be? The phone is working absolutely fine besides that random shut off - perfomance is the same, battery life is the same, no freezes ..nothing.
The other issue im experiencing and I've read alot about this is that my touch screen sometimes (rarely) is unresponsive. It just freezes, the phone is alright but I can't press on anything..
If it is software issue, how can I resolve it? Should I clean install the 13.0.4 rom or older?
edit.. i don't think it is actually shutting of but rather the display going black and unresponsive to any buttons as to restart it I must hold the power button more than 10 seconds
And also, I'm new to the forum, sorry if i posted this in the wrong section and excuse my bad english, I'm not a native speaker. Thank you
it's a firmware bug....do clean flash and pray it disappear..do fastboot clean flash

Thank you, I'll try when the bootloader is unlocked.. Meanwhile, I'm really worried about this being a result of the screen replacement? Could that be the issue? The screen works absolutely fine, keeps 90hz refresh rate, no glitches or artifacts.. Should I bring the phone back to the shop where I changed the display?
I confirmed that this is indeed a software bug. After factory reset, I kept the mobile data and wifi off so it can't update the apps and for 2 hours there were no signs of the problem UNTIL i turned the WiFi back on, the setup finished, updated the apps and my phone crashed in 10 mins. No idea which app causes this or why, but atleast its not hardware related. I'll try to reflash the 13.0.4 through OTA again and see if the problem persists.. If so, i wont have phone for the next 7 days because of the bootloader lock.. Thanks Xiaomi

flash with fastboot.. i think it's possible even locked..
Factory default and not restore apk, the problem could be any apk that did not work on miui 13.
Its not possible to flash with fastboot on locked bootloader. I tried several times it just refuses anything. I also couldn't manage to manually sideload OTA rom in recovery and I wouldn't risk it through the updater app because of the crashes..
I left my phone overnight with data turned off and it never crashed again.. I hope this get fixed after the clean flash because I really like MIUI13 and don't want to roll back
Same here. No any response from MIUI yet.

MIUI 13 Lockscreen Crash!
Hello guys, after I got my bootloader unlocked, i tried flashing several ROMs both china and EEA with MiFlash (clean all option) and it still crashes the phone randomly... I don't know what to do anymore. The only time phone can sit turned on without crashing is in fastboot and when booted but plugged in to computer (idk what is this about).. What should I do? I'll try to downgrade to 12.5 EEA stable with Mi Flash but is this clean install or should I do it with twrp?

Fastboot only
Im stuck in bootloop after downgrading to MIUI 12.5 EEA (the version i was on previously before miui13) via fastboot. The phone restarts after the boot logo and no matter which ROM i reflash it doesn't go beyond that.. Any advice? Tried factory resetting after flash but no result
Guys, no matter what I do, i cant bring the phone to life again. It reaches the MI logo, stays there for 10 seconds and screen goes black. I tried flashing EEA, Global, China, many versions all through fastboot. They flash with success, no errors at all but when rebooted it is stuck at the boot logo... Please help! I can still boot to stock recovery/twrp and fastboot. What can I do???
MiFlash log
I just tried the services of the telegram guy who does EDL flash over teamviewer. The flash finished with success but the same problem still persist and not only that, now It goes straight to fastboot without a chance to even boot in recovery...

Thats what I did, it never turned on until yesterday. A miracle happened and the phone booted but after 5 mins it crashed again... Wtf might be the problem with it. The only time it doesn't turn off is when its plugged to a computer with switched on debugging. I can't wrap my mind around it, are there any crash logs that I can read? Logcat doesn't show anything in help

OnePlus 9 T-Mobile Version stuck in Fast boot mode...

Hi all
First off I'm definitely a noob and it might be in the wrong place?
I'll start off by saying thanks for any support I my get.
Tryed to make a / i.e put in a TWR recovery
and got sent into a crash dump.
Now when I turn on the phone it stays in fast food Mode.
I've tried a multitude of tutorials to no avail.
The phone does have an unlocked bootloader done correctly, pretty sure. It's not rooted that was what I was trying to do. I'm running Ubuntu the latest version on a laptop and I'm seeking help to unbrick my poor new phone. I can perform tasks like getting log files and have even tried reflashing boot.images etc with success but not booting back into recovery where I could flash its oos, just end up in fast boot mode again.
I used bugjaeger at first with an OTG cable and another phone to flash custom recovery.
If somebody has a tutorial assuming that the partitions may be harshed on or needing something I'm unaware of or whatnot I'd be beyond appreciative...
Thank you for your time!

Question Hard Bricked? (Camellian)

Hi,
So I've had a lot of trouble getting TWRP flashed to this phone. After a bunch of tries I got stuck in a bootloop but I was still able to enter fastboot and recovery. I then flashed the stock fastboot ROM which fixed it and I was able to get back into the system.
I then hooked it up to my laptop again, but when I went to turn it off to get back into fastboot mode it just doesn't do anything except bootloop. I get to see the Redmi logo for a few seconds, and then it just endlessly reboots.
I can't enter fastboot nor the recovery, otherwise this would've been an easy fix. I also can't turn off the phone. Does this mean I'm ****ed? I saw the post before me where somebody seems to have the same issue, but their phone doesn't show anything on the screen at all, which is why I'm not sure if I hard bricked it or not.
It's strange too, because I have plenty of experience flashing bootloaders and ROMs, even with other Xiaomi phones, but this one has been a pain in the ass from day one. I made sure to not use anything not meant for my region (EEA) or phone model (Camellian) so I have no clue what went wrong. Any ideas?
