I'd been using CR Droid up until now, but I'm dropping it for this one. I love the inbuilt theme options and its relative snappiness! I loved CR Droid but it was a tad bloated and laggy. Thanks again! ?

i was on CR-Droid too, now i'm using ViperOS and i think it's pretty good ROM but sometimes it has some lags, maybe because of the launcher....i don't like lawnchair very much. The battery life seems to be better but I miss all those features CR-Droid used to have. Moreover, I found the equalizer does not work at all

Yeah, I didn't like the launcher either so I got rid of it. I'm using Nova launcher now and recommend it highly. Customisable as anything. I'm using an older version of Pulsar music player that has a great inbuilt equaliser, but I have a vague memory of the equaliser being removed a few months ago. Might be worth checking it out, the equaliser might still be included.

Is there a stock weather app of sorts that's missing from this ROM? Was wondering because there's a 'weather' option on the quick settings menu that doesn't do anything, i.e. there's no app for the quick settings weather toggle to point to.

Hello can you please try and build one of these ROM'S?
1. Paranoid Android.
2. Bliss ROM

Have you enabled weather service in venom settings?

Found the setting and enabled, working now. ?

By the way, is the volume in the video recording somewhat low? Has anyone else noticed this or is it just my imagination?

I don't know how to build Paranoid Android https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Je10yahBpTkvyF0o7MQO_zM23dZ6ntmc

Can't move past the LG logo, it restarts after the LG logo, it's in some kind of a bootloop or something like that, by the way i'm talking about Bliss ROM.

I fixed the equaliser by flashing the first ViperOS build that couldn't boot, and after flashing that i flashed the boot.img from the new build.

Problem with swap
I have a problem with an app " ROEHSOFT RAM EXPANDER" , I cant use it; Maybe these kernel of Viper OS isnt compatible with SWAP files.....Any solution ?.Please , Use a lot of apps in background, and I enforced to use a SWAP....

I will try to make a new build with zram enabled by default. You can enable it using kernel adiutor.

Another problem, why I cant use it FM Radio?, I think all roms compiled of based Lineage OS (7.1.2) not incopored a kernel with this function ?, Or maybe I can fixed ?, I tried use NEXT RADIO or Spirit Fm but , in the same case , It have message "Tuner FM is not compatible"

Love this ROM, I've been using it exclusively for the last couple of months. Will there be any updates down the line?

Hi.
I have got an issue on this rom. Everything works fine except GPS FIX.
"GPS Test" - 15 satellites "in view" and 0 "in use" (no fix):
"GPS Status" - the same problem here:
On stock android lollipop (v10f) & marshmallow (v20b) I get GPS FIX pretty fast. No problems there.
Any ideas?

Go to file /system/etc/mixer_paths.xml
Search line:
Code:
<path name="camcorder-mic">
<path name="voice-memo" />
<ctl name="DEC1 Volume" value="87" />
</path>
Replace "value" (for example to 114 - it's pretty loud):
Code:
<path name="camcorder-mic">
<path name="voice-memo" />
<ctl name="DEC1 Volume" value="114" />
</path>
Save & reboot.
There is more configuration to set, mic, speaker, etc. I attached my config file. Don't forget to backup your config.

Turbo ROM is a custom Android ROM based on the latest Android Marshmallow (6.0.1_r43). Sourced from a straight AOSP/CAF base, the ROM is now extremely feature rich and has lots of customization options. My ( @Yoshi_Guy ) goal with this ROM is to create a ROM with as many customization options and possible while still being stable. In addition, the ROM uses RRO/Layers for theming with full DayNight support. SuperSU is pre-installed.

Nice to see many ROMs for Moto X
I've been running the rom since yesterday. Smoother than what I've found in other CM based roms, and haven't had a crash or random reboot since installing it. Couple of things worth noting: the aosp audio patch is needed. Also, screen pining is not working properly. It actually pins the page, but I haven't been able to get out unless I do a reboot. No NFC. And, the LCD density changer didn't work for me, but it wasn't a big deal since I edited the build prop. Other than that I haven't had an issue with others apps.

I think they are different and CM has more themes to choose.
btw, is Turbo ROM bootable on your device? It does not boot on my device. Stuck at boot animation
Layers is different. It booted for me. I'm using banks gapps. Make sure you do a clean install, that could be the problem.

I use banks dynamic gapps. Let me try again.
It did not boot with Dynamic Gapps. When I use gapps from openapps.org, it boots.
No audio for incoming and outgoing calls, else very smooth rom, if the call bug is fixed would love to use it as a daily driver

Using this rom for more than a month now, probably the best Cm 13 rom currently available, no bugs at all(except the normal CM 13 Bugs), Thanks to the Developers

does this rom have pie?
Sent from my fx-82MS with CyanogenMod
Installed this ROM last night. Was hoping it wouldn't have the battery bug that exists in Cyanogenmod 13 and OctOS. Unfortunately the bug exists here too. My phone died at 30% battery today.
The other issue that also seems to exist on all Marshmallow Moto X ROMs is the fact that CPU Usage and Battery Usage doesn't list all apps, only system ones. Is there any fix for this?
Gps signal is too weak for me on CID12 based firmware compared to stock, the gps can lock but can maintain it and it takes so long to catch satellites, can we manage to make some tests? i dont know which part of stock system is the one who determines the gps behaviour more than gps.conf that doesnt seem to change anything, i think its something with the cid12 modem and the rom based in another modem or somewhat, am i wrong?

CHANGELOG:
Here
*Please note the items that are strike-through they don't work yet.
BUGS:
Audio is garbled, there is a flashable fix HERE.
It does come with SuperSU but I have had to flash the binaries for me to have ROOT access.
It says it has Substratum it does not. But it will work if you're into that sort of thing, I am not.
Flashlight is buggy sometimes so be fore warned.
Stock camera app may take awhile to load. I use Moto Camera app which loads fine.
*This is a work in progress and it may take me time to address and fix issues as I am an adult with more pressing responsibilities than this but I will work on it to the best of my abilities.
Stand alone kernel HERE if you want to check it out

I just wonder what the lockscreen is like, given there are shortcuts I think it'll be more like on the CM/Lineage. The two Marshmallow AOSP roms I tired I hated how the lockscreen was and how lockscreen controls worked, had to like hold and drag the pause/play button to use it, and could only have one app controls on there (I have music and podcast app, like being able to access both

Awesome, I will have to give this a shot, probably not until Sunday or Monday
Hopefully storage isn't an issue, I just remembered one thing I hated about all AOSP based roms is they have terrible storage management and have this extra system data that grows with number of apps, sometimes up to 3gb, where on CM based roms it usually is only about .75gb

It's not the rom file, I can't remember the name, but I'd see it in diskusage, I think it's called "System Data", but it isn't the rom/OS, it grows and shrinks based on number of apps, hopefully this has been fixed in Nougat

No, It is called "system data" here is the view in diskusage
Its usually static in CM based roms, between .75 to 1gb, but it grows based on number of apps, sometimes to over 2 and 3gb in AOSP roms, at least on marshmallow, maybe this issue has been fixed in Nougat

Have to flash your own root, so yeah magisk works with it.
Tried to get an updated build of the ROM this weekend but that didn't go as planned. Though I did update the kernel with a few more things.
Do I need to flash Gapps?

Very nice ROM mate. It works excellent. Just restored all of my apps and checking the rest. Usually i use the Nova Launche, but the in-built launcher is cool. It would be nice if the icons could be changed. And the bsckground in the app drawer to dark. But this is not important. Thanks for nice ROM.

In the meantime, I would gladly flash it (although I need camera for many reasons), but I need to be sure that microphone in calls works, since moto x is my only phone.
