not being able to insert 3 cards simultaneously - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hello I have a question. Is it true that you can not simultaneously insert 2 SIM cards and an SD card?

Yes, it is true. Pocophone could use either two nano SIM cards or one nano SIM card and one SD card.
You could use two SIM cards and a SD card in Xiaomi A2 Lite, for example.

Though sachiru raises the idea of using a SIM extender to combine 2 SIMs with an SD card here . Personally I'd say just get a 128mb Poco to start with - the price difference compares well with external SD memory

[Q] Does microSD slot support SDIO?

Hello
Does anyone know if the Droid RAZR microSD slot supports SDIO cards? This would be important if we want to use for example NFC microSD cards for Google Wallet.
From the Chip Block Diagram of the OMAP4430 it is not clear to me if the SDIO always connected to a microSD slot or if it might be that "only" SD storage cards are possible without any IO functions.
Any input on this is highly appreciated

Micro Sim Card

I have a SGS1 with a normal sim card, does the sgs3 have a micro sim card, if so, will my carrier provide one? Is this usual?
Sent using TCP/IP
your normal sim from your sgs1 wont work inside your sgs3 (lol unless you cut it down, which you could totally do). but the sgs3 microsim is smaller, your carrier will defiantly give you one, iphone, htc one x, and some others use this as well.
Thanks, just spoke to 3, they are sending me a micro sim card within 48 hours, whahoo

will micro sim work?

I just purchased a Poco F1 and now realize it uses a nano sim in the primary slot but I have a micro sim and won't be able to exchange it for nano sim for weeks because I'm on the road.
Will a micro sim work in the second slot without anything in the nano slot?

Micro sim will not fit in the slot.
If u have any namo sim, u can trace an outline on the micro and cut it. You will have to be very careful and accurate or u will lose sim functionality .
In india it is very easily rectified as every corner shop will have a cutting tool.
I received my poco f1 today. The micro SIM fits fine in the second slot. Of course this is not ideal as it takes up the slot that can be used for a micro SD card. But it does work.

Anyone swap Wifi (single slot) tray with a dual MicroSD and SIM card tray?

I replaced the microSD card today in my WIfi model of the Tab S3. While I had the single slot tray (microSD card) removed, I looked inside and it looks like the contacts to read a SIM card are in there.
So I wanted to know if anyone has attempted to swap the WIFI model single slot tray with a dual slot Card/SIM tray?
Wondering if "maybe" the internals are in there and some software tweaks to enable it?
I am debating buying a dual tray online and testing it. But I don't want to end up damaging the slot.
I also checked the popular "teardown" fix it type site for the Tab S3 but I didn't find a video on the disassembly.
Thanks

The hardware won't be there even if the sim tray is.
