Substratum can't find / uninstall themes in theme-list (oreo 8.0, Galaxy s8) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear community
I'm using Substratum x Andromeda and I got the Swift Theme installed. The Google Play Store keeped crashing so I wanted to uninstall the theme but Substratum says there is no theme. So I went to the Settings > Apps (show systemapplications) but I can't find anything! I know it's suppose to be "com.sec.vending" or something like that but I can't find any of the installed themes..
I tried:
- Reboot
- Installed older version of Substratum and Andromeda
- Reconnected andromeda via computer
- Searched for theme in applist
Now I can't even connect to substratum, after installing an older version of Andromeda.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix it? I'm not looking into resetting my device.
Thanks in regard

[Q] problem with the theme store.

I've a problem with the theme store, I've a lot of themes missing, that includes all the avengers themes. I tried installing the themes manually from xda but if I do so they only install as trial and phone reverts back to stock theme after a few minutes. If I manually install them the installed theme appears but when I click purchase or update I get this error
Bump
Install package disabler pro ( pro vesrion )
and after you apply the theme disable
Theme store
And
Themes
Thats it
Any idea why they are no longer in the theme store?

Unable to open Magisk Manager after upgraded to version 14.0.

I've upgraded Magisk to ver 14. Now I'm not able to open magisk manager. Anyone facing the same issue?
Tried reflashed back version 13.3, issue still occur.
problem solved.
update with simple way:
go to settings->apps->magisk manager
clear cache, clear data and force stop
update:
found the root cause. my substratum theme is conflicting with magisk dark theme. un-apply substratum theme to magisk, now i can set dark theme from magisk without any error.
case close.

Device ID changer or Device Emulator not working.

Using Resurrection remix the latest version for Oneplus one. With Neon kernel. Magisk su as root app, and xposed installed along with it's latest systemless module, (88.2) for sdk 25. Modules are working, and all, except for the Device emulator and Device ID changer, none of the other imei and android id changing apps work too. Other xposed modules working as such. Google play not working after using substratum on it. And after cleaning the dalvik cache and cache, the phone dialer shows the imei of device id changer and truecaller shows the imei of device emulator. Camera broken, and Bluetooth broken too, don't know if it is the latest RR or neon. Playstore stopped working after substratum. So going to uninstall substratum, clear cache and all, and try to extract the kernel from RR and install it and see if things work or not. If anyone has any other ideas, would be appreciable.

it happens to me the same thing appears that is not active in xposed.
SOLUTION: Uninstall "xposed installer", install an older version and it works again

Install APK Themes Android Pie 9.0

Hi Everyone,
So apparently after updating my XA2 Ultra to android 9.0 I am unable to install the themes I used
via APK. I read on the internet that this is something Sony is disabling for some reason.
Does anyone know a way to install a theme using the APK file and not from the Google Pay store?
Every time I try to Install them It just tells me that it couldn't be install and that's it.
Any help will be appreciate it.
Thanks everyone.

Hi,
I used to have the same problem, for *some* APKs even on 8.0. What i did (not sure what caused the problem, actually) was:
1) Enable unknown sources via dev. menu
2) Disable the Play Protect and built-in antivirus(es), e.g. AVG
3) Disable app checking from Google options (this might be tricky, because the app itself didn't show me this option, bit it came up eventually, don't remember how, i think when you try to install the .apk via ES or some other file explorer.)
Now it gives me the "App not installed" or "Unable to install" only when i try to update an app that was not originally installed from the Play Store, but (for example Aptoide or other Black Market store) it can be remedied by simply uninstalling the old app and install the new one.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Update to Newer Google dialer?

Is there a way to install an updated Google dialer on the F1? I have tried a few apk's but after installing they all say not installed.
If you are rooted with Magisk look for Google Dialer Framewrok. I haven't tried it myself but you can let us know how's it working.
