I have a super problem with a J415G (E: failed to mount / efs (invalid argument) does not start, does not pass the bootanimation, and try everything possible in San Google and XDA, commands, stock, TWRP, efs backup, modem, file pit, nand erase, etc and nothing has worked, the only possibility that I have not used is a combined FW, but unfortunately my device is S2, not U1, that is binary 2, when I try to use the combined ones in binary one shows error: sw rev check fail: aboot fused 2> binary 1, I can only wait for a compatible combination or ... if you know how to do a please guide me or give me a link for a guide, in advance Thanks.

I am more than happy joining in this dev.
Yesterday, I have been trying figure out how to make this 905 rom working in our 605.
I flashed the stock system.img.ext4 and cache.img.ext4 then the kernel from 905 as well.
Everything just worked, except the touchscreen and s-pen.
Touchscreen is like we must press the opposite side. Like when there a icon on left, we have to press exact position on right side.
Scrolling up and down were okay, no problem when in landscape mode.
To scroll the page from left to right, you have to scroll from right to left.
Menu button, capacitive buttons work well.
Keyboard no problem.
Network booster works.
The problem is only with touchscreen. S-pen does not work at all, even after updating with *#2663#.
Have you modified the kernel for this rom?

I tought this rom is for p605 snapdragon.
Try to flash cache.img.ext4(csc) and boot.img kernel(Boot.img) 12.2. Most likely it will boot.
After a long search i found a custom rom based on MH1 build which is the jellybean stock rom.this rom is not made by me but a little bit modified by me ..i have been using this rom last 1 month.. and there is no bug..

I've tried to port lineage os 14.1 from kminilte (Samsung S5mini) to degaslte (Samsung Tab4 T235Y) cause they have same chipset and gpu. But I have failed because I don't know much about porting roms. I just replaced
these following files from degaslte cm13 to kminilte cm14.1.

8. Select the file UPDATE-SuperSU.zip and apply it
9. Restart your smartphone, Root received!

You'll find these files once you extracted the package
Install the apks as they are ordered (leave those 2 zip files as they will be flashed through the recovery)
Now enter into the download mode of your phone by pressing the following keys in combination VOL DOWN + HOME KEY + POWER KEY and connect it to the PC/Laptop. Hit up the ODIN and flash the downloaded recovery.
Follow this procedure as shown in the image, in order to flash the recovery. (Download the ODIN software from the google. I'm sorry I can't provide you the link) :silly:
Make sure you also have installed the Samsung USB Drivers as well! Otherwise ODIN won't detect your device.

Now as soon as ODIN flashes the recovery it'll reboot your device in an instance, so keep that in mind, once it does you only need to hold VOL UP + HOME KEY + POWER KEY and if you done it properly and in synchronized time, you'll see the SAMSUNG LOGO and on the top of it a sentence marked in RED color will be shown and after that it'll boot up the recovery.
Now flash those 2 ZIP files which were left before in order through the recovery:
Reboot your phone once you have done flashing those 2 ZIP files (the first reboot may take some time)
If all done according to the steps, then congratulations you've rooted your phone along with installing XPOSED

yes you can install magisk just skip the xposed installation procedure.
