Buy Honor 5X

Hello to all. i have a few questions because i want to buy a new phone for 200$ or less.
i see a few phones (if you know other please tell me). OnePlus X, Alcatel One Touch idol 3, Huawei 5X, Huawei P8 Lite (kirin or snapdragon), blu one life x 2016. but i can't decide.
if i see reviews about Hono 5x they say this phone have lag on all, so my question its, is this the better option for 200$? and how its the lag? its a 616 octacore the lag can't exist.... other question its... this have marshmallow officially? thanks
this phone lags. and i am using stock rom.
The phone does lag here and there but not too bad... its because of the stock rom... if you intend on flashing a custom rom then this is the best choice...
Also MM is under beta test and should be officially available in half a month or so

Good alternative for Honor 8X with custom ROMs?

Hi I already ordered the Honor 8x but only later I realized that you cant put LineageOS on it.
I can still stop the order but what would be alternatives with good value for a cheap price (especially camera+dual sim).
Would the Poco f1 be the next best choice?

Well if you are from India your best options will be
Redmi note 5 pro
Asus Zenfone max pro m1 6gb
Or you can give this a try
Moto power one

Thank you guys for the suggestions. I'm located in Europe so the Redmi 5 Pro is sadly not an option.
The Xiaomi mi A2 Lite looks quite good, I'll have a closer look on that. Maybe the camera is a bit to weak for me.

I hope a lot of people don't buy it because of that. Like many others I contacted their support with no luck.
It's pretty unfortunate as the phone would be nice.

Freebuds pro 2 Compatibility

Hey Guys
So I have a Huawei Mate 20 Pro, purchased in the UK.
I am very interested in the Freebuds 2 Pro however as I'm sure your aware they aren't available global yet, only a Chinese version released.
I don't mind ordering the Chinese versions but I just wanted to check if there are any known compatibility issues with a non-Chinese Mate 20 Pro.
I've read about compatiblity issues with phones that do not have Bluetooth 5.0 (Mate 20 Pro does so that's ok), read about issues with the software version having to be above 171 for the HWA to work (my mate 20 pro is over this version).
Is there anything else I need to consider before I make the purchase? Is there going to be an issue with languge in some way? I know there's no display but possibly voice commands or recognition issues for the English language?
Any help would be great, I'm guessing I'm not the only one wondering on a global release date.

Hey
I do have the freebuds 2 pro and a LYA-L29 with 187 firmware.
They fit perfectly with one another.
No issues and better than with my P20 pro.
I really can recommend them.
I think the only disadvantage is the short battery life from about one hour.
But they are very quick rechargeable with its box.

Thanks Orlando, my mate 20 Pro is LYA-L09, not sure what the difference is between the LYA-L29? is it only dual sim difference? I'm running with 187 firmware too, so this is good to hear.
I assume you are located outside of China right?

Yes, it is the dual functionality only.
And also yes. Not in China ?
That is the reason why it is really difficult for me to use the companion app to update the firmware on the buds ?, but thank God there is Google Lens ?

I can't seem to get mine to pair with my P30 Pro. I press the button, white led flashes, nothing appears in the bluetooth list of devices. Any ideas?
Edit: 10 mins later they just appeared with no issue. All seems fine now!
I recently bought some Freebuds 2 Pro, So far i'm impressed with them. They work great with my UK Mate 20 Pro, and i'm on 9.0.0.210.
Audio quality is excellent, but not noticed a difference with HWA turned on.
How is call quality with freebuds 2 pro especially in noisy environments? And what is bone id anyway!
