you can extract ofp to scatter format if you have Miracle box using miracle thunder v2.88 and more .. in that there is an option to exctract ofp . after that you will get all the files like preloader boot recovery system etc ..

Extract system.IMG from your downloaded ROM
After extracting system.IMG install Linux reader (free software google it)
Using Linux reader open IMG file and extract system ui apk and paste it to system/app via any root file manager ....
Else use adb fast boot method to flash system.IMG in fast boot mode ...(this method will unroot your device )
All the best ?

How to Flash a ROM with boot.img and System folder only?

HI! Is there any way to flash a custom rom using PC?
SP FLash tool needs a scatter file
but my ROM doesnt have any.
I tried to make my own scatter file but I cant find the system.img
The system.img is a folder
how can i convert the system folder to system.img?
PLS HELP
Ive done this but it was year's ago while making an odin flashable firmware for sgh-t599. Sorry to say I can't remember the procedure but I used guides so the info is out there.
You'll need Linux, and you must know the size of system partition and if it need to be raw img format or sparse img format.
With the right commands these img's can also be extracted straight from a working device.

Rooting HomTom HT20 Pro

Guys, please help. I tried everything with Flash Tools and nothing. There are a few Russian sites that claim to have rooted it, but my Russian is simply zero.
Anyone?
Bootloader is locked too.
Your help will be much appreciated.
Do you still need root ? i kinda find a way how we can root every chinese phone if there is SP_Flash_Tool package for them.
how: ?
download : "HOMTOM-HT20-Pro-Android_6.0-R15-20180302"
unrar, inside are 21 file (atlest for me) , (dont delete original boot.img, make copy somwhere else, then delete it from homtomp package folder)
Then copy boot.img to your phone
download magisk manager, instal it, open magisk manager, press instal, chose Patch Boot Image File.
patched file need to be in downloads as patched_boot.img, copy it to HOMTOM-HT20-Pro-Android_6.0-R15-20180302 folder
rename it to boot.img (original boot.img alredy backuped in different location), replace original boot.img with patched boot.img .
use SP_Flash_Tool , you can flash all, or chose only boot.img (i used firmware upgrade, but if it not work, use download only)
then you shuld be able to instal magisk manager and acces root. Tested mydelf with homtom ht20 pro, all works, can spoof pokemons etc.
I am looking for flash file Homtom HT20 with android 7.0 or higher. Any help?

How can I mount/extract .img files from MTK scatter firmware/rom?

I downloaded the stock rom for a Motorola device (E4 Plus) and know how to flash it with SP Flash Tool it but I'm curious as to how I could mount/extract the .img files to see what's inside and try modifications.
Trying to mount the .img files as ext4 on Linux fails and running simg2img also fails. Any ideas?
Another thing I'm wondering is if there's a way to convert the scatter files to a flashable rom (zip file)? and why are the scatter files so large compared to "normal" flashable roms?

[help] Which tool do you use to extract the android 11 firmware files

Before I would appreciate your help
The tools that I could find here in the forum have helped me to extract the firmware files and later extract the files from the system.img and vendor.img from Android 10 down, which I have and thanking them for their great work.
I have downloaded a firmware but it is from the Android 11 version when unzipping it I find the system.img, system_ext.img, vendor.img and vendor_boot.img then when I run the tool to extract the files from the img files it gives me Error the tools from what I see only support the version of Androd 10 so I cannot extract the files
Someone from here has been able to extract the files from these img of android 11 and if so, where can I download the tool to be able to do it from windows thanks for the attention
I have been looking for tools for windows that allow me to extract the files from the file system.img vendor.img and vendor_boot.img since they are android 11 firmware, so someone who can help me how to extract the files, I have android 10 firmware and I can extract the files without any problem
