Hi there!
I faced a weird problem with my phone.
If it is out of signal for over 2-3 hours then it needs restart to gain it again.
The phone is not rooted and it runs 9.6.25.0
Any ideas if this is an S/W or H/W problem?
Here,in a Greek tech forum,told me that it is an almost common Xiaomi problem.

I live in Greece and I have no problem with signal. My carrier is Wind GR.

The problem is not the coverage.The problem occurs if I loose signal,for any reason.There is a thread (#725) reporting exactly the same problem in myphone.gr

Hi everyone.Sorry for bad english but i will try to explain wath is my problem.So
Place (1)Bulgaria
-signal indicator is full i have no problem while talking
-indicator is full i have problem while talking(interupting) but still talking
-indicator is full sometimes i can't connect to enyone
Place(2)Bulgaria
-signal indicator is 1 point down from full and it is inposible to connect
Firs i was thinking that the problem is in provider but then i changed the SIM and problem remains.Tried also in 2G-3G mode and noting.Is there anyone with similar problem who can help me.Hope that is a software problem and LG will fix this.The phone is brand new 3-4 days and i was so happy with android but not with LG.I think that i will never bay LG again.10x to everyone who can help me.

i have same problem exactly
there are many problems with this phone, like touch screen bug, charging retardness, dust under screen, sd card un mount.
but signal problem is certainly not.
have you tried taking the phone out of the building? if the problem persists everywhere, even with different service providers then you must take the phone for service or replacement.

I am new here and sorry if I post this topic in wrong place. Actually, I have LG P768 and I bought it from Iran. It worked very well there. Then I moved to Germany and used O2 simcard on it and I did not have any problem with that until I got a charge drain problem with it.
I was in Iran last month and I fixed this problem but I got a new problem with my phone at the moment. Currently, I come back to Germany but with the same sim card which I used previously I don't have any signal on my phone. I have tried another simcard and it does not work as well. Could you please help me regarding to this problem?

What is your base bad version/radio modem? What version of android are you on, are you on a custom rom or kernel, are you rooted, are you completely stock form the manufacture and who is your cellular provider?
Go to your settings and then to about phone and you can take a screen shot and upload it. or type your results?
Make sure to delete from the screen shot your mac address you DO not want or need to share that with any one.
Has your phone been dropped, damaged or water damage. are you the original owner or was the phone used before you got it?
I was having issues on mine after installing CM12.1 (android 5.1.x) while using a GSM carrier (t-mobile); in my case it was calls not ringing in, and inability to end a call. If you're not on a 5..x rom, my solution probably won't help (and may cause more issues). My solution is here:

Hi. My Galaxy S3 i9300 drops network connection from time to time for no reason. I have a full coverage in the city, all the signal bars are full, however it drops the signal sometimes and reconnects again. That's very annoying while talking on the phone. What I tried so far:
Clear cache
Hard reset
Changed to another custom stock rom
Installed another kernel and modem driver
All these makes me think that it's a hardware issue. Anyone who knows what it might be and how can I fix it? I have a hot air gun and I am able to replace parts if one knows which part might be faulty on the motherboard. Thanks!

Hello, i lost my antenna signal and i can´t get it back. I´m using CM13 snapshot 20.08.
Yesterday all was working fine but now the signal is lost. I reinstalled the rom clean but still the same problem. Any indears what can be the problem?

i checked and baseband isn´t unkown. Thanks for your reply. I think it´s a hardware defect.
I'm experiencing an annoying issue on my XZ1 (rev4): mobile data sometimes drops and the only way to restore it is rebooting the device. Usually it happens when travelling by car.
Sometimes i also lose mobile network (not only data but also voice!) and the solution is the same: rebooting the device.
Country: italy
Provider: 3ITA
Device config: mono sim.
I searched online and someone reports this to be a hardware problem, but i'm not sure because hardware problems are not likely to be solved with a reboot.
Is anyone experiencing such issue?
Has anyone more information about such issue?
Note: the strength of the mobile signal is also fluctuating a little bit.

Maybe you are right, but all phones have problems. Even the most prised ones.
Other than this issue I really love this Sony device, and to be honest it's hard to find a issue-free device which may replace it.
I don't experience any other issue other than this one and i secretely hope this to be a software problem or something related to my provider (which is known to have problems in this period, due to the merge between two providers which is causing lot of roaming troubles).
This morning i cheked again and everithing was fine, even after travelling to my office by car.
I'm asking here for some more information, but it seems no one is affected other than you and me.
I'm going to test a sim card from another provider for a short period to verify improvements.
