1) Why don't you just upload to xda as an attachment?
2) Why do you use in thread name some sh*t letters instead of ASCII? With Google Product Sans font it does not render at all.

@jokerkill2r
Would this enable airtel/vodafone volte too or just jio volte ?

I downloaded the file from the given link. But my Magisk isn't recognizing the file. Can you provide any alternative solutions? I'm using the latest version of Magisk 17.1

@jokerkill2r
If volte dosent works even after flashing this zip , how to revert back the to previous setup ?

This still doesn't work for me - also latest Magisk 17.1 and Magisk Manager. MM does not even see the file as something it can open.
EDIT: After renaming, everything worked without problem. Magisk Manager apparently expects naming convention like "<Name>-v<version>.zip". The zip by default has "-signed" at the end which seems to throw it off.

It is not working on my phone. I tried flashing latest firmware and build.prop code, both were a no-go.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.

Hey nice work
Can so please help me to get volte on op2

How do we rename it? In my file manager it's detected as a file not a zip file. i tried renaming it but no use.any ideas please...
[Edit]it installed fine after I removed the "-signed" part and changed its dir
But can anyone please say how to enable Airtel volte in my flydrqgon os

Can you try making one for OnePlus 2 too...

I flashed this on my OnePlus 3t an hour back, wondering if it would bring VoWifi, I cant confirm if VoWifi is working, As haven't noticed any VoWiFi or wifi calling while calling a few people, Though I have it enabled in settings.
But I can certainly say I am getting 4G+ on my phone, Which alteast i haven't ever noticed. I am testing for Speed on fast.com since then on irregular intervals, result is never noticed high speeds! I got 45, 29, 43, 46. 49, 26, 36, 39, 44 Mbps.
Will update again in a day, but this mod is worth it till now.
Thank You.

[MOD] XposedWifiFixer - Change WiFi region to US (enable most 5GHz frequencies)

I wrote this for myself but here it is in case anyone is also interested.
Google sets the wifi country code to whatever is in your sim card. If the country does not have a corresponding list of enabled 5GHz frequencies, then a lot of these frequencies get disabled. This mod simply sets the country code to US. There is no GUI or anything, just enable and restart and you're all set. Android marshmallow only. I tested it on my S7 edge and it's working fine.
Enjoy.
Edit: Added OREO 8.1 version. Testing working on Pixel 2 XL.

thanks!

I can't say I'm "working on it still" but whenever I have a need for it, I update it. I actually have the pixel 2 xl running latest oreo 8.1 and needed the added 5 GHz access points at work to have higher speeds (780 MBps beats 54 Mbps any day!)
Works fine here. Just make sure your xposed is working fine and that this module is loaded correctly. Reboot, profit. should work on all 8.1 ROMs given that I'm only modifying a simple framework method which should exist in all variants out there.
Hi,
thanks for the reply!
I have installed the latest Xposed, and your module (downloaded from there, not the file here) & rebooted. nothing happens. I do not see my 5GHZ when it's on the 148 and up band. When I switch it to the lower bands (38 and up) works just fine. this is driving me insane. Any chance you could help me out ?
In another post, someone offered me to replace a file, and that seemed to work for a bit, but now it has also stopped working
Link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/help/wifi-region-5ghz-question-5t-t3776003#post76220330
Thanks! appreciate any and all help.
Edit: Actually it would help to understand what it is exactly your addon is changing ? since the above file does have something that seems relevant. is this the same value being changed?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply! I thought I had mentioned I already tried it, did not change anything.
Maybe if you told me which file this is editing and which value is being changed, I might be able to debug and see if it's actually changing the value it needs to.

Cool, thanks!
Just as a follow up..
1. is this com.android.server.wifi.wifiserviceimpl a file (.jar?)or db file?
2. where is it located?
3. does your fix change it every time on reboot? or is it a one time change? (meaning, does the phone update this from the SIM occasionally?)
thanks again!

no man, it's a framework class that xposed can tap into and change the behavior. Take a look at the source code of Android AOSP for that class. it's not a simple file in /system that you modify. It is changed every time this method is invoked, it's how xposed works.
Lol, just goes to show how much I know about how rhis works, which is nothing
Its working with the update to 8.1 btw.
Thanks for all your work and patience!

aptX for OOS 4.1.X

OnePlus seems to have enabled aptX codecs in the new OB5/14 for the OnePlus 3/T.
For those of you who don't want to wait until the stable release and also would rather not flash the open beta, @Chaosgod27 has extracted the related files for use in the stable release. These files can be placed within OOS 4.1.X to enable aptX mode. These files are different from the old aptX-enabling files that were broken in OOS since updating to 7.1.1.
Edit: It seems there's some issues with the stacks. Playback does use aptX, but music is playing at a slightly higher pitch and faster than it should be.
I've dug around through the files in the new open beta and found the files myself. It seems there were a few missing before. The issue with the raised pitch and fast playback should be gone now.
Flashable Zip (through custom recovery, does not require Magisk): View attachment 4121507
Magisk Module (same thing, just systemless): View attachment 4121508
There was an issue before with some missing files that caused playback to run too fast and with a higher pitch. That has been fixed now. If anyone flashed the old Magisk module, I would advise you to download the new one in the OP and flash over it. I've also included a flashable zip for those of you who aren't using Magisk.

Thanks a million
Thank you, I have installed it but it seems to have a lot more problems (noise/cracking as in packets lost or something) than the previous version that I was using and which I got from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/themes/mod-aptx-codec-t3521228
Is there any way to uninstall this version and return to "old default" (from where I can get back to the aptx version from above)?

If you used the Magisk module, simply delete the module and reboot.
If you flashed the regular zip, you'll have to dirty flash your ROM to restore to default.

Use a logcat app (Catlog / Matlog) and search for an aptx entry in the recorded logs after you connected your aptx capable device via Bluetooth to your aptx enabled phone...
You should be able to find something if it's working, otherwise it wouldn't show any aptx entry

Edit 2: Nevermind, it's working now. Idk what the problem was.
Didn't work for me on OOS 4.1.6 on Oneplus 3T I can't turn on Bluetooth. Anyone else having this problem? Also, have the drivers been updated in a newer OB?

[FIX][SafetyNet] Passing SafetyNet in Treble ROMs

I've finally figured this out!
This is a scientific breakthrough! Not really... lol
So, I've managed to make SafetyNet pass using a "custom" Magisk build.
I grabbed it from here and so far I've flashed this build and it coaxed SafetyNet into passing. On one treble ROM, ToxycOS, it completely made SafetyNet pass, both ctsProfile and basicIntegrity. On RR official though, it only made basicIntegrity pass. However, that's completely better than nothing at all!
This is how I got SafetyNet to pass completely, it only works if basicIntegrity is passing while ctsProfile if failing.
•Magisk builds: https://github.com/ianmacd/MagiskBuilds
•Magisk I flashed that got SafetyNet to pass: https://github.com/ianmacd/MagiskBuilds/blob/master/Magisk-v16.5-20180621-ianmacd.zip
•Guide to get SafetyNet to pass: https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/issues/116
Thanks to @topjohnwu for making Magisk possible
Big thanks to @ianmacd for making these Magisk builds
Why did I post this?
I posted this because Magisk 16.6 kept on bootlooping for me, no matter what I did. I'm pretty sure it patches the kernel instead of the ramdisk so it causes a bootloop, again, not 100% sure what it's doing, but either way, it's bootlooping for me. These builds *hopefully* don't bootloop. I flashed 16.5 and it's working great.

Thanks to everyone but the guy who actually discovered and documented this? Hmph!
It works on BDN-L34
I passed the test successfully following this guide.
I used a Huawei Mate SE (BND-L34) running phusson's [AOSP 8.1 - Phh-Treble] v22. Then downloaded iammacd'smagisk build that the op provided and zip flashed it through TWRP. Then logged on android and uninstalled the magisk manager app (which was an older version) and then downloaded the newest one available and installed it as an apk. After that I opened the app and went to "downloads" and looked for MagiskHide Props, installed the module and rebooted phone. Then as the op did, I followed cawilliamson's instructions on how to set up MagiskHide Props the only difference being that I set up the fingerprint using Huawei mate 9 since Honor 7x were not listed.
I was running and failing at different points the SafetyNet test until I completed the process. Thats it, thanks to crayonicle for research and compiling such great information and to the other people that made it possible. :good:

BTW ive just updated to the "MagiskManager-v16.8-2018071902" which is ianmacd's lastest build posted and (first of all isnt bootlooping) and is also passing all of the SafetyNet tests. Also installed the lastest version of the Magisk Manager app 5.8.3 (129) successfully. Not sure if is helpful to report that but since it boot-looped me when I tried to update it last time, so now I consider it an achievement lol. I first uninstalled magisk manager through android uninstall (not the magisk uninstall, which unroots you and delete modules) then installed the new version manually.

I am no expert but what ROM are you running? I used to have RRO v6 and the boot loping happened to me when I updated magisk to lastest version through the app. Try flashing the older magisk you had before?
If not I think you will have to go back to stock which is what I had to do when that happened to me. I used a stock oreo zip rom for my device (BND-L34) and this guide now since you have the MATE 9 I dont know what the procedures and files needed for that one.
Using a BDN-L34 (Mate SE)
Back to report that I successfully flashed [8.1.0][TREBLE] Pixel Experience [AOSP][r36][2018/07/14] by jhenrique09 (8.1.0-20180714-0200-OFFICIAL) and sucessfully installed the last Magisk version (and app) and passed all the tests (even better it help me bypass the "google uncertified device" messages i was getting). To pass the SafetyNet I downloaded the MagiskHide on the Magisk app "Downloads" then ran a terminal emulator with the following commands.
Code:
su
props
Then only needed to set the fingerprint by doing:
1 > F > * > ** > Y > Y (This last option will make the device reboot, needed to pass SafetyNet, but you can reboot later by writing N)
*Note that you need to select your phones brand in the options given there.
**Select your phone model (or any other model with the same fingerprint reader or compatibility, guess you can try out different models and check if any works, at your own risk though, I dont know if there could be grave repercussions.)

Yeah I selected honor 9 for my Mate SE, I just mentioned that since I dont know how serious would it be the implications of selecting a totally different model for another phone but yeah just didn't wanted to tell people to select whatever and then suddenly their fingerprint isn't working or something like that haha. Btw i used the same guide you provided the first time i did everything he pointed but then realized that only the first step was enough so only did that.

[MOD] [MAGISK] NFC-SIM Enabler for 1+3/t oreo (7/8/2018)

Hi all,
I just modified the module from @snowwolf725 to have a newer template so it can run on oreo rom
If you need to use nfc-sim on oneplus 3/3t you could try this module.
[Install]
1. Get Magisk
2. In the download area search for "OnePlus 3/t NFC Sim Enabler"
3. Reboot
4. If your manage app require permission you can give it at settings-apps-app permissions-additional permissions, toggle smartcardservice for it
I only test it on OOS Oreo ROM, it may not work on custom rom due to different framework built in.
You can report here so I'll check what other MOD have to add to make other ROM work.
the smartcardservice is modified from SEEK for Android by Johnzweng

I don't think so, it's NFC chip specified so if you have a different device it's xml config would be different.
For m9 you could look through it's stock rom to adjust configuration, I believe the M9 stock ROM support NFC-SIM card.

In some places we have our payment/transportation card integrated in SIM card.
so we can use our phone to pay/take public transportation.

Hello, any news ?
Hi, just tried the latest v1.2.1, but it seems HamiPay detects root even MagiskHide enabled for it. Would you please share how to prevent HamiPay from detecting root? Thank you.

I think they changed the root detection, now it's can only use with iPASS, EasyCard or icash.
Creditcard function have been lock with rooted devices.

Thank you for replying. The above seems work fine. Can this module be ported for OP5/T, 6/T (OOS 9.0) or even 7/Pro?

I've update to Pie rom, and confirm that we still can use sim NFC at it, just need some path adjustments, use the attached zip file replace your system/vendor/etc/libnfc-nxp.conf, put the SmartcardService folder in system/priv-app folder
add this line "persist.nfc.smartcard.config=SIM1,eSE1" in system/build.prop file, and should work as before.
I forgot how to make it into proper Magisk Module~the module i made tonight can't not be installed.... so strange. I'll update once i get it to work.
P.S.
I tried custom ROMs, they have many differences about NFC config, I can not get it to work even replace the framework and permission file, tried everything I know but still failed, maybe they missed something at more lower level.
updated for OOS Pie
I just found what's wrong.
Here's the updated Module for OOS Pie.
Later i'll update to Modules-Repo

@snowwolf725 have created the OP5 module, 6/6t have other method to make it working, but I need check some of it's file to make sure, op7 should work in theory, but it still depend on some rom configuration. I only have a op3t, do don't know how other models work.
Currently OOS have proper components (driver, config, frameworks...) installed, so it easier to enable them, for custom rom or future builds(which OP3 won't have)
I believe that require more adjustments to have this feature working.

The OP5/T module is not available via Magisk download now. I'm currently using OP5 and will buy a 7 Pro. If you need, I can help testing.

[Rom][Oreo][Rootable] H990DS 20a, 20b [AME][IND][TWN] flashable

Hey Guys
Here's the rootable H990DS Oreo flashable ROM based on AME, IND and TWN
I have NOT tested this ROM on other regions but it should work.
I've also included the patched raw_resources.bin to prevent showing the corruption warning at the startup.
The missing Second Screen's "App shortcuts" is present in this ROM.
The first run after setting things up might be laggy, also you may see a kernel crash. Reboot once and everything is OK now!
Please use the latest TWRP for flashing this ROM.
Wipe everything except External SDCard.
Flash ROM then flash the latest version of MK2000 Kernel and Magisk.

Hi. Thanks. But changing cust to australian doesnt convert it to australian variant?
I think cust is what made particular changes from different regions.
Maybe im wrong.
You can make separate zip for australian cust and modem. So you can leave 100% ame rom.

I don't think so, cuz in the software version it has: V20a-AME-XX
It works flawlessly, but I'll also add flashable zip for flashing AME cust and modem partitions.
Thanks?
Download links added!
Enjoy!!!
thank you, guys, for the work!:highfive:
I'm glad you could get volte to work and share this!

I've tried to activate it by including some files from Australian rom. But I'm not sure if it's working or not. Unfortunately I'm at a short trip to somewhere that doesn't have VoLTE support yet. So I've also mentioned a thread for editing VoLTE files. Tell me if it worked for you.
Enabling VoLTE was always a pain in the neck.

AFH seems to have a server issue. I've reported the problem. I'll let you guys know as soon as the issue is resolved. Thanks.

Download and flash this one:

It's for H990DS Oreo.
The one that you mentioned is an older version of MK2000 kernel.

I'm on beta 15, and it's running flawlessly.
You need fresh boot image to flash this version, otherwise you will face problems.
I tried flashing the other ROM by dudeawsome and it failed (stuck in logo) I wonder if trying this version will have a chance to work because it's using the AME rom or i'll have issues anyway because this version is using the same aboot and abootbak partitions by dudeawsome

I've tried both roms and they worked fine on my h990ds.
I can't say if it will work for you or not. You have to try.
I included more partitions to flash like cust, modem, laf.
Also used an untouched boot image.
Don't forget to share the results with us and please mention your phone model. ?

Here's rooted H990DS 20a Oreo flashable ROM based on AME variant
I've included the CUST and MODEM partitions from Australian ROM to increase the chance of getting VoLTE to work,
but if it's still not working, please check the link at the end of the post to edit things based on your country.
