[Q] Recording lossless internal audio. It is possble? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible to record 24bit/196khz internal audio?
Is there any app that can do it?
Or is there any Windows program that can record audio from my phone's 3.5mm jack?

You can use the 7-day trial version of Adobe Audition to perform the recording.
You will need a cable to connect your 3.5mm stereo from your phone to your laptop's Line-in audio jack.

Audio line-in on Vibrant?

Question: does the Vibrant have the ability to record via "line-in" and if so, is it a stereo "line-in"? I'm wondering if I can take a 1/8" cable and run it from an external stereo microphone into the Vibrant.

[Q] Record with plugin mic?

Is it possible to record video on the X10 with a separate external mic?
So it can't be done?
never tried before...but you can do a simple test:
Plug in your handsfree (with mic) and record a video. If you are getting sound in the video with the external mic plugged in, then any external mic should work, theoretically.

[Q]Bluetooth priority over 3.5mm jack

Hi,
I'll like to know if it is possible to have bluetooth audio streaming as the main output source?
I've a sony ericsson MW600 bluetooth headset and it works perfectly with my Samsung galaxy S2. it allows me to stream audio from my phone to MW600, and i managed to hook up the MW600 to my portable speakers, which "transformed" them into wireless speakers.
However, i have a special requirement which needs to output my voice in realtime (with some lag) to the "wireless" speakers through bluetooth streaming. I managed to find to find apps such as "AMic" which works perfectly using my setup.
But the samsung galaxy s2's default mic is quite nosiy, so i bought a mini 3.5mm jack mic. when i plug it in, the 3.5mm jack took priority over my bluetooth audio streaming.
Is there a way to have the 3.5mm work as a mic, but still having the audio stream through bluetooth?

[Q] How can I record audio to my 3.5mm jack

I am trying to use my phone to record music from my electric keyboard. Currently I'm running a 1/4" cable from my piano to the 3.5mm headphone jack on my Galaxy S4. However I can't seem to get it to record properly. I think it has to do with changing the input source, because software like RecForge only allows you to select the front or back mic. There is no option to select the 3.5mm jack.
Are there any apps that allow you to send audio to your phone via the headphone jack?
Is the headphone jack capable of recording audio?
If possible, what is the quality of this recording?
Thanks for any assistance!

Record stereo audio from external mic

I wanted to know if when you attach a stereo external mic to the s9+, does the phone record the audio in stereo, or mono? I've heard that the s9+ cannot actually record stereo audio from an external source, only mono, but it does record stereo audio from the built in mics.
Thanks for any help.

sorry I don't have an answer to your question. but I do have a question to you. if you record a video with a loud music does the video sound gets lowered or sort of compressed?
Record stereo audio from an external mic
As far as I know, the s9+ has automatic level control so loud audio would be lowered and compressed.
It will record in mono, as the connector is only a TRRS 4-way connection. Left+Common+Right++Mic. There is not a physical connection for two channels of mic input. You would need to use a OTG USB audio adapter with two channels of audio input.

Thanks.
I am unable to make a USB microphone work with the S9+via OTG, and have not been able ot find out why. One person suggested that Samsung "locks down" their USB drivers to prevent call recording, but I have not been able to verify. In any case a HUGE dissapointment.

Record stereo audio from an external mic
That's disappointing. I guess if I want stereo audio for my videos I'll just have to keep using my dslr camera with my stereo mic attached. Thanks for your reply.
