I know it sucks, but the 249$ worth of free stuff I think makes up for $2.99 case.
Since I pre-ordered in the UK we are getting a free wireless charger and the new Watch GT. I rather pay £8 for a case and get the charger and the watch.

i'm in singapore and it's included in the box.
There were reports that mentioned a case included, for example:

I can highly recommend the clear case. It's got a nice feel to it and it's £5 on Amazon.

Mine came with the TPU case (Canada, Telus) along with the watch. The case is just about as slippery as the phone, somehow. It may save you from a corner drop but it won't stop the phone from sliding off of... Well, any surface of any kind. I have no idea how they made something rubbery quite this slippery.

Got mine with a case also (Bell, Canada). I personnaly like the case. It is a cheap silicon case, but it does the job.
I wanted to rock the phone naked at first, but the rounded corners and the back of the phone (twilight is slippery) makes this phone way too prone to drops.

I want one, but none was in stock when i picked up my Tablet, so im using a HP Tablet case, works, its a bit big for the S Tab though. Im hoping they will make a cover like for the Acer, that the front folds around the back and stays on the Tablet all the time, instead of just a carrying case.

Wow, what a disappointment. I had a feeling it was the same case used for the iPad. You can find it for around $25 on Amazon. I saw the different "model" number and was hoping it was indeed for the Sony Tablet. Bummer!!!

I canceled the order.
I got one. $69 at adorama.com. A simple carry case for the S. Well made, but not a custom fit for the wedge. You can slip the S in with the big end down or up. No holes in it for access. Only useful for transporting your S between use points.

Thanks for the referral. I haven't heard of them. Ordered the dock/cradle for $29.99 free shipping (standard), no tax. Supposed to take up to 10 days for delivery, but it's nice to save a few bucks. My tablet is supposed to be here on the 28th. I was getting ready to take a hike to the nearest Best Buy that has one in stock, but that would be $43 including tax plus fuel.

Nice find. I hadn't seen that case anywhere I looked. If you get the cradle, the S may not fit in it when it is wearing a case. Pretty custom fit when naked. Doubt the power connection will make contact if you add a layer of leather. I'd like to see a slip case that can serve as a stand when the tablet isn't in it. May have to make one myself.
It should have a problem with the cradle as the back of the case seems to bend half way up to create the prop so that should put it out of the way(at least thats how it works with the official sony case)

I was looking online at the Sony Store, they have a real cool one, that you slip the S into, and the front flap can fold over so its still in a case but you can use the Tablet, it was about $40, the downside is its backordered till around mid October!
I bought the dock/cradle, so I was looking for a carrying case. Sony has this one listed on their website but I found it on Amazon, it says Ipad but I'm pretty sure this is 100% the same case. Fits perfectly and exactly what I wanted, and at $16 USD(vs $25) its not a bad price.

I got the official leather case yesterday from the Sony Center in Sheffield UK. Its a beauty!! £69.99 which is typical Sony Prices but what the hell!!. I was a bit shocked that you have to stick 2 pieces of Supplied Velcro to the back of the Tablet S and you get some extra stick on gels for the top thick end of the Tablet to keep it secure. The Case really does feel like a premium well made product and im glad i got it. I have concerns about taking the Tablet out of the case as the 2 gels are real sticky and some people would have a job getting it out!!
Overall the case is excellent and can be folded to make typing real easy.

Wow!!! I ordered Saturday and it was delivered today (Tuesday) via FedEx Ground. Noticed the shipping address is a Texas one, which is where I'm located. Perfect timing, as my tablet is on the UPS truck for delivery today. Guess I'll go ahead and order the official screen protector ($19.99) from them as well, although it's backordered.

Got mine today for £13.50 postage paid. If its fake then its a very good one!
I doubt it makes much difference as the Sony original is absolutely awful and grossly overpriced. I bought one from Amazon and sent it back by return of post. VERY rare do I need to do that. There are several flaws with the case not to mention its lack of magnet closing and if its dropped the front flap opens. If you are quick and mange to catch the flap before the phone hits the floor the phone itself wold become detached from the case and still hit the floor.
I am afraid Sony dropped the ball with this case and the price. Same with the Smart bad replacement bands, half the price of the complete band with sensor itself? I fall out with Sony over their policies regarding accessories. Some of them are either poorly thought out, poorly made and cost the earth.

This is not a good case. It may leave scratches on the phone when you snap it on. Buy the soft & super thin PC case. We have it in our store.

Really there is no need to buy an extra screen protector for Mate 7. For cases, get the soft PC case in our store, or something similar, which is more than enough.

Yeah i own the vibe z2 pro, and i gave it to my brother who loves it (of course he will pay for it lols). I have loved the mate 7 since it was announced in september, and finally it became available in the philipppines, just now!!!!! Huawei philippines said i was the first one who preordered it (a week ago) and i was the first one to pickup my preorder! That just goes to show how addicted i am to the mate 7!
There are no cases available locally right now, but i somehow like the free leather smart cover that goes along with the package! But the mate 7 is so beautiful i dont want to hide it in a non-transparent case!
Btw, the version thats available here in philippines is only the 32gb/3gb combo, gold color only (tl10).

yo do think screen protector is useless for such a big screen ? I do not think I could bear a scratch on this beautiful screen though. I'll try one and just hope it will clean as easily as the original screen. It won't look as cool for sure but there is always a balance to find between protection and look.

Have anybody tried fitting a BlackBerry DTEK50 case onto our Idol4? I know they're basically the same phones but I am not 100% sure, and I don't want to spend money on something that may not even fit. There are no good cases for Idol4 here in Poland, so that would be my last hope :crying:

I found 2 really amazing cases on eBay... Military grade material and drop tested.. shock proof. Tempered glass screens included. Under 20 bucks.. and also another technically designed clear case with lining of rubber strips in delicate spots.. only 9 bucks.. Unfortunately, the shipping cost to Poland would be twice the price of the case, so that's a no-no for me :/ I've ordered an NGP Incipio case for Blackberry DTEK50, we'll see if it fits. I'll update once I get it, in case someone would want to do the same.

Hi, just bought the phone and I'd like to ask of there are any good cases, TPU or Rigid (TBH I prefer TPU), for this phone. On Amazon &co. I see the usual chinese cover, any brand you reccomend? I've also seen that Nillkin made a rigid cover, someone tried it perhaps?
I prefer neoprene or elastic soft myself.
I'm still waiting for a silicone case I ordered from Aliexpress, that's the only place were I found variety. But since it hasn't arrived yet I can't tell you any experiences.
