I have installed Firmware Finder to upgrade however, I cannot figure out how to install v122. Anyone able to help - searching the web is not helping either.

I need some assistance for flashing the camera firmware.
I have the Galaxy S2 version 2.3.4 and the rooted ROM 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKI4-CL575468
I got the following message when entering the code *#7412365#:
Cam FW: FAILED
Phone FW: TBEC28
So there seems to be a problem with the Cam-FW.
By executing "Phone to CAM FW Write" I get the message, that the Version is invalid. So this method doesn't work..
I was searching the board and found the firmware file (hopefully) for the camera. Its called RS_M5LS_TB.zip. Within the zip-file there is the RS_M5LS_TB.bin.
I rooted my phone and tried to install the FW from sd card by starting the phone in recovery mode (Vol+, Home, Power) but I wasn't able to install the firmware. It seems that the firmware file is either not a firmware or I went a wrong way.
What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this issue?

Edit: I also tried to hard reset, reinstall the XWKI4 firmware... nothing worked
Edit2: Do I have to use an update.zip for flashing the fw from sd card and if its the case... How do I create an update.zip for the cam fw? It would be also very nice if someone could upload the correct firmware.

the version that was install of it is android 2.3.4
i've tried to update it to 4.0 ics

after i have installed and downloaded RECOVERY-FLASHABLE ROMS i downloaded this update

but when it was finished successfully,my phone was not running any system
all i got is an image which has some animation and my phone show it all the time
also my phone now can't connect to USB so that i can't install new .zip files in sd card
any help please

Iam newbie to this custom android world. i wanted to install cm 12.1 on my galaxy i9300. so started with rooting the device using odin. when linked the cf auto root file and started odin, it stucked on recovery option. so tried again changing usb port and cable and all combinations bt all efforts in vain. And now as a result, i m getting error 'Firmware upgrade encountered issue. i tried to install stock rom from sammobile, but when extracted, it showed crc error. so had only one option using kies. but my net is too slow. plz suggest me any easy method. will i be able to use my phone again?
plz plz. help me ...anybody...

Download the stock rom in sammobile and flash it through odin dude.
Hi Guys,
I need some help guiding me through the Lollipop rom install on my GT-I9300T
So the phone has been rooted already using Odin and was successful.
I have then downloaded the rom and google apps and super su, but at the time of update it is coming up with
E: failed to verify whole- file signature.
ok so this is where I need someone to tell me exactly the rom I need,and any kernel update or whatnot I need to get a lollipop rom onto my phone.
phone also has current firmware update from kies
Android version 4.3

@paulyhg: if you say 'update', you're probably in stock-recovery, which is unable to flash a custom-ROM. Flash 1st TWRP-recovery with Odin.

I'm on v11.0.10.0.QFQEUXM, can't install the next update, every time I try it just reboots and tells me the update failed. Anyone have a solution?
bootloader is locked and I'm not using any custom rom if that matters.
In case anyone has a similar issue I fixed it by clearing data for google mobile services and google play. I guess a corrupt update file got stored somewhere.
The update can be installed via recovery, also if you are in stock. Reboot into recovery and select install update from sd. You can download the stock recovery latest firmware from many sites on Internet
