AFAIK Redmi Note 3 Pro aka kenzo supports band 40 right? Anyhow to enable it to connect LTE-A aka 4G+? My local telco does support LTE-A tho.

anyone tested 4g it in the US? it officialy has the same bands as redmi note 3 exept band 4 but neither had the redmi note 3 pro
I have the Kenzo variant of the phone. From what I've read, only the Kate version (Special Edition) is supposed to support band 4 FDD-LTE. However to my surprise, my Kenzo is getting T-MOBILE LTE on band 4. How is this possible? I clean installed the latest Global Developer ROM via MiFlash tool if that makes any difference.
Only the variant sold in India doesn't support band 4 because no carrier uses it in india. If you have bought it from China as redmi note 3 pro it'll support band 4, the special edition supports band 20 as well.
Seriously, the amount of different versions of this phone is infuriating. Lol

Is it possible to make it work on Redmi note 4?

I have a redmi 6a. on the gsmarena site, redmi 6a already supports LTE-A 2CA. but on my phone how come it can't get 4g+ out. even though using another cellphone, you can get out with the same simcard.
