They are enjoying Google camera night sight and pie.
I hope redmi 5 rom developers are working on this issue.
I'm sure if you contact a developer and donate some funds or maybe a phone they can help you out.

I hope we can make xiaomi treat redmi 3/s users as equals compared to mi serie users (as u can see, redmi users have much less feature in camera app and worse software support compared to mi serie users)
I think that there will be no "PLUS" of the MI-series over REDMI series if they put the MI-series features to the REDMI-series
By the way there's unofficial way to put that features on our redmi, right?

I'm sure it's possible. I already added some new features with the help of my testers (as I don't have redmi 3s yet), but it need deeper modifications to add the most professional features. If I have luck I can get my device in a month or 2, + the time I get bootloader unlock and than I will start real development. I want to make a professional miui based rom, with tons of ui settings and many new camera options. Wish me luck!

It's being so long I am in connect with xda, i found xda as a most useful site amoung other and constantly visiting threads for getting any kind of updates for device "redmi note prime" its a dualsim phone code "gucci".
I am very disappointed because not a single page is active about my device redmi note prime, even search box is not recogning any device with these keywords ......I like to change my miui rom with some custom rom or atleast any update from kitkat4.4.4 to lollipop.
And i know xda is best for rooting guide, recovery modes provider and ROMS.....I m hoping for some good response from xda-devs...
Pls reply me...... if there is any hope in development for this device..... I'll be eagerly waiting for any update.

I Have also seen many forums but, no body is eager to discuss about Redmi Note Prime (HM Note 1S) aka Gucci .
I have Compared REDMI 2S PRIME which is VOLTE And in another Hand Redmi Note Prime (HM Note 1S) aka Gucci which is non volte,
Each And every Specification is Same only screen size is differ.
Mi peoples Not want to develop any rom for this device B'coz of its Marketing Stratagey.
Any developer can help in this Regard as both the devices are same.
What i have did till now.
Ihave flashed
miui_HM2XWCProGlobal_V8.5.2.0.LHJMIED_d9f708af01_5.1 on Redmi 2/prime 4.4.4 and its get updated with 5.1 with VOLTE support.
i have done this on redmi note prime (Gucci) its flashed Succesfully:laugh: with bootloop .
Any one ? who can port this for redmi note prime(Gucci) plzz.

Do not hassle or harass your favorite custom ROM maintainers for an ETA on when the new build will come out. They will get to it when they can in some cases it isn’t something we should expect in the first place. These hard working community developers don’t get paid for their work and most have a job, family and other responsibilities they need to take care of first before they can put time toward a custom ROM.

some of official nitrogen oreo comes for redmi
but our one plus 2 has good hardware but still not so active devloper
Just check the Development section once!

No active developers ? Normal, when we see people like you complaining like baby because of nothing. If you are not happy, go on, buy a PC, learn development, and build yourself.

I'm very happy when I heard Xiaomi with codename Rosy has many variety of Custom ROM. But, since I tried installed all of them, there is no update and so on. So, the problem such as bug in some Custom ROM is not getting fixed or take a long time to respond the developer. Why is it happen only Redmi 5 user? I saw some device like Redmi 5 plus and 5A got update constantly and Redmi 5 didn't.

This happens because devs are busy with daily work and if you go to telegram you can clearly see how much development is being done there
