Yours must have come from the international variant named 7.1. Mine is of China variant named X7. They are mostly the same, apart from some unique wallpapers and preinstalled apps, I guess.

Hi,
I have buy a S4 copy in aliepxress. The brand/factory is Meso, great phone with MTK6589, 1GB RAM, 720p screen (5 Inch), some motion and gesture availible and 1:1 copy, so we can used original back cover and batterie. I want know who in this big and great forum :laugh: have same phone like me (Meso, no HDC Legend).
So with coop, we can translate in our lanaguage (I'm french), beacuse like all chinese phone, not all in french/spanish/italian.... and we can do great ROM for have more RAM, batterie life, maybe fix some bug......

I've got blank screen on both
I guess there are differences on boot.img (Spark display is only 2-point touch, and Legend/S6 are 5-point. Maybe driver issue.
Benchmark is 13000-14000 have air gestur and smart pause, no smart scroll.....

On monday I ordered the HP Slate7 VoiceTab Ultra from HP in the Netherlands (they sell it directly to endusers). I rooted it (no problem), changed the launcher to Apex Launcher, removed the hideous icon backgrounds and now LOVE this device
As this is just a relabeled MediaPad X1... does anyone know if there is already a 4.4 version for this international 4G model?

You can easily root it with rootgenius and 4.4.2 came available OTA in the netherlands last monday. Dunno if my device saved the update file otherwise i can upload it somewhere so you can download. Will look for that tomorrow of you want.

Its very difficult to know lte band supported by voicetab ultra as hp has not given out much.
Mine is HSTNH-H407C and it supports TD-LTE 40 (2300 Mhz).

I bought one a few days ago and got it unlocked and running Mokee.
china rom comes with a few language.....i know english is one of it.
I got mine from the "Xiaomi Online Store" on ali, and it also came with a version of Mokee.

AFAIK Xiaomi does not have official store in Aliexpress, there is Xiaomi Online Store etc..

Somewhat. I just got it today (4GB 64GB WiFi). When I was in the setup it said "something MoKee stopped working" but I haven't noticed any issues related to it yet. The Camera is kind of out of bounds (navbar is above it, hiding part of the button), and the quality leaves a lot to be desired, but in general things work. Play Store came preinstalled, and I've had no other issues so far.
One thing that annoys me is that in the YouTube app, I can't zoom in the video to fill out the screen like I can on my Pixel 2 XL. Another interesting fact is that Substratum came preinstalled, though I guess that's a MoKee feature? I never used that Rom so I have no clue.

Double-tap to wake: the option is there, but it doesn't work. (see video)
MTP: no issues, just like any other android device, select "transfer files" and it'll appear as MI PAD 4 in Windows (and I presume MacOS)

There are no custom ROMs available for the tablet yet; only GSIs atm
There is mokee rom for mi pad 4. My pad from aliexpress arrived with it. I flashed the official ROM myself.
I just got my Mi Pad 4, with unlocked bootloader, a "MIUI Global 9.6 | Stable 9.6.7.0(ODJCNFD)" ROM with gapps.
I don't know what it this ROM. It supports multiple languages, but for example only had Google pinyin keyboard (chinese + english).

Seems like there are two fairly legit ROMs that can be installed at this point:
Mokee Multilanguage "Stock Android" - https://download.mokeedev.com/?device=clover
MIUI China Stable (also with English) - http://en.miui.com/thread-3538488-1-1.html
I would be very suspicious of a ROM that says it is a Global version as apparently this doesn't exist yet for Mi Pad 4 (and may not at all in future)

It should be already unlocked if it came with mokee. Up on boot if u see unlocked key sign, it's unlocked.

Update: After using with LG Home launcher and a restart...it now works with Nova..

It does not install at all at my side I don't have an lg phone i have a pixel we need help from one of the respectful developers ...
It works on v40? Nice! My suggestion is to clone or make the LG launcher work on your pixel 2 then you will be good to go. Anyway, why just don't buy the V50. I can clearly say it's way over any phone in videos and photos. Maybe it looses in zoom to Huawei, but other than that it crushes anything. Compared it with s10+ and p30 pro and iPhone max and it murders them all. And it also has night sight.
Did I tell you this phone can shoot videos in 4k 60 fps 80 MB/sec, 4k Hdr 10 bit, 1080p 60,120 and 240 fps, and that's not slow motion...???

Honestly i have a very bad history with lg phones ..
Plus the v50 stock is very limited that it exceeds 1000 dollars if i tried to import it in my country .. im satisfied with my pixel 3 xl so far plus if i tried to sell it ill lose so much in the trade ..

Korean version.
International or European version is sold just in the UK by ee UK carrier and only on a 2 yearscontract Sim locked and you pay 1700 pounds for that. Also is sold in Australia,!!!! , don't know why but also on 2 years and a lot of money and Sim locked. Impossible to get it.
Korean version is nice. Already got 2 updates in just 1 week of use.
