Does anyone know what file I need to remove to get rid of the oppo keyboard that pops up when I need to enter a password? I can't seem to find it. If anyone successfully removed it, please let me know.

I use SwiftKey and I have that enabled and oppo keyboard disabled. But the oppo one keeps coming up when I need to input passwords. I'm looking to COMPLETELY remove that garage from my phone through ADB not just disable it from the settings.
Go into additional settings-keyboard and input method-turn off enable for secure keyboard for pass code. That should do the trick

I'm looking for something that I thought would be easy enough to get.
I need to switch apns quite a bit and it's just time consuming going down into the menus. Best I've been able to find is an app that lets me swap from one apn to the other but again more time taken. Ideally I'd like an app that would just switch from one apn to another and back again.
Been searching for over a week from the marketplace and forums and can find nothing except an on/off widget.

If you're on ICS though, I assume its a no-go. Access level for applications to change APN Settings isnt allowed.

You can use Extended Controls, but with a trick. In the configuration menu you can set how turn off your APN, (changing name or turning off). Just set your second APN to turn off the data. You can easily swap between booths APN but you wont turn them off.
My english isn't good but i think you can take the idea.

Hello guys,
If you've installed a rooted image like I did, maybe you just noticed that the author decided to get rid of LG bloatwares. But some apps are really useful and I don't get why he removed them. I am indeed refering to FM Radio and Quick Remote (IR) apps.
So, I did a backup of the two apk from my latest clean install.
Attachments below. May not work with all variants (as I read that US carriers removed these apps because of money/rights?)

Anyone having problems with quick remote after setting the dpi to 540? Try to set it again to 640 with appsettings xposed module but didn't work...
What's the point to change the DPI for this app? The display is perfect.
I only changed those settings with Chrome to get the tablet mode and tabs bar on the top.

I have changed all the system not only Quick remote.
Oh I see. And what did you get? Am not in that sort of thing, so I can't imagine what your system looks like and I must say, no idea to make Qremote fitting the original display. Good luck!

I don't think that's going to help, my friend. Verizon and some of the other US carriers typically ground one of the wires leading to the FM module, which literally diverts electricity away from it so that it won't even turn on - and I bet that's what Verizon has done here with their G4 as well. A build.prop edit won't change it. All you can do is crack your phone open, get out a soldering gun, and try to solder a new ungrounded connection yourself (Skill level: Adam Outler).
Some carriers do this so that you are required to use streaming apps for radio instead like Tune-in Radio or Spotify, which burns through your data plan and makes them more money. You aren't the only one upset about this. There are a lot of petitions online to get carriers to reverse this practice. One is here: http://freeradioonmyphone.org/

Is it possible to add the standard Android media playback APIs to an existing app? I want to add it to the DAB app which works with the Joying usb dongle. the reason i want to add it is because Automate uses these api to show albumart and musicinformation on his home screen. You also can control the app on the homescreen.
What i did so far:
- i decompiled the dab apk and loaded into Androidstudio.
- i followed a few guides like this one http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12526228/how-to-put-media-controller-button-on-notification-bar
but i cant get it to work
My question is, is it even possible to add it to any kind of android app or are there any restrictions? Or is there somebody who can do it?

to be honest, it may just be a 3D render and not even a real mouse. As far as I know you cant assign mouse buttons so any extra buttons would go to waste which is why I just got a Logitech M557

I have the 585 and you can easily switch but there is no android flow software so you can't cut and paste between them.

I've done it on my phone, first thing i needed to do after i recieved the pie update.
You need to have unlocked the developer menu.
Then you scroll all the way down to the bottom, there you will see a option Background check.
Click that!
After you need to turn off 2 bibxy options.
Bixby voice wake up and bixby voice.
After you have done this, your phone shall not start bixby when you press the bixby button on your phone

I did not update yet, i see i have 3 updates for bixby there. Maybe thats the reason why it's working for and not for you?
You can use Package Disabled Pro v15.0
Install it then give administrator then tick bixby things.
Or alternatively follow the debloat guide on this forum and use ADB command

The point is to offer those who desire it the ease of use.
There are two things you can do.
Being at least somewhat responsible with your phone will keep someone else from having the opportunity to unlock it via voice. In the 4 years plus I have had voice wakeup/unlock enabled across multiple phones no one has ever unlocked my phone with there own voice.
Toggle off the ability for bixby to unlock/wakeup the phone by voice. I haven't seen anything that says Bixby on our phones has multi-user (or any sort of voice specific recognition) support yet

I used ADB and disabled it. Works like a charm. I'm done with phones for now. When you can't root a phone and have fun whats the use. It's a paper weight to me. I could have a crappy Iphone for all I care. The days of having fun on my S5 are gone . I may downgrade to some phone that I can root so I can have some fun and install some roms. For now I just mess with my ThreadRipper PC everyday by installing custom Windows 10 OS's .

How exactly do you use this ADB? Is it a windows or android app? I'm just trying to get rid of the Bixby functionality altogether.
