Request: Nokia 7.1 Plus ROM Stock - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just bought a Nokia 7.1 Plus from a Chinese dealer. It comes with preinstalled apps in Chinese that can't be got rid of. I really need an international ROM from ones sold in other parts of the world.

Difference between Uk version and Chinese version

Hello everyone,
I found a website where SGSII is sold as cheap as USD400 but it is a china based website, i dont know why they are selling it cheap only because it assembled in China or it has less features compare to the Original version or is it a copy, can anyone put some light on it, thanks.

Some firmware regional versions better than others ?

I remember when I bought my Samsung i8910 a couple of years ago I didn't know to buy a version for a specific region as opposed to another, and as updates for the Italian version consistently rolled in my Portuguese version NEVER was available for update (even 2 year later) without flashing a new ROM ... not a big deal now but not the easiest thing back then. Is that still the case today ? I am planning on buying an International GS2 for use on AT&T in the US ...and bottom line is there some version that is better than another?

[Q] CM 10+ for chinese phones

hey all
we've got all these chinese phones in the market. The same phones sold under different names in different countries...
each offers the same specs at a better price than high end branded phones...
So isnt there anyway to get the latest cyanogenmod builds on all those awesome phones?
Im looking for CM 10.1 for a phone which is marketed as the "Qmobile Noir A900" in Pakistan and as the "Gionee Elife E3" in India.
Thanks!

Australian Release

Hi Guys,
The Find X has been released in Australia, and is available from today exclusively at JB Hi-fi. The price is pretty reasonable compared to other markets at $1099aud. JB Hifi gives customers who port their phone number to Telstra in store a $200 gift card towards the phone. Many employer discount programs include JB Hifi discounts. I've just picked up my Find X Bordeaux Red for $849.00. Lemme know if you want any more deets.
Possum.
Is it a global version? There's italian language? In this case can you extract the software or maybe you have a link to the australian oppo website to download it? Thx

Yes. It's global. I just bought it from jbhifi
Is it possible to dump the firmware or something? But damn 850 AUD is really cheap that's like 550 euro's.. only thing holding me back is the China version.. In the Netherlands it will sell for 1000 euros but that's a no no while the Chinese version is around 650 euros. Hopefully we could put the global version on it
Woo-hoo! I've got one coming in the mail

Safe site to purchase from

Hello, first post for me, I hope it's in the right place, please be kind if it's not.
I am looking to replace my old Xperia Z3 compact tablet with the Mipad 4. Is Geekbuying a safe place to buy from?
There is a HK Stock, Global rom version I am looking at on Geekbuying but I have heard that some sellers install a custom 'global' rom that may be a bit suspicious. Would the Geekbuying global rom option just be the European rom with english language that they are selling? Geekbuying has a reasonable price and a fast shipping option that I will need to get it me by Christmas. Thanks
I did some homework and I found this to have decent performance balanced with the best bang for the buck.
Geekbuying is a good choice. I just bought one today with Wifi/LTE.. They had the best price and the optional quick shipping at a reasonable cost.
I have my Mi Pad4 from Honorbuy (EU Warehouse), was delivered after 3 days, China stable with Googleplay. I have 1 year warranty and repair will be done here in EU too, so no send back to china. But the shop is not the cheapest one. Cheaper but with delivery from china is cect-shop. Here you can also choose between china stable and xiaomi eu multilingual rom.
..Gearbest ?
3/32 Gb 165usd/147€ https://gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_...1&utm_source=webgains&utm_campaign=GearbestDE
4/64 Gb 199usd/177€ https://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs...1&utm_source=webgains&utm_campaign=GearbestDE
Use priority line as shipping method when ordering to EU
Ignore any vendor advertising a "global" version. It's all fake custom roms. There is no global version available of the Mi Pad 4 (plus). Only china devices.
So get a cheap china device with locked bootloader, set langauge to english and sideload google play store and services. Tutorials are available here.
If you want a localized EU custom Rom unlock the bootloader - will take 2 weeks/360 hours - and then flash Xiaomi.eu custom Rom, which is based on china global/beta versions and includes localization options and is fully google certified.
So even google pay should work in theory.
