Is it possible to install Android 6.0 and next versions on Cat S40? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good morning guys.
As above, I would like to install a more updated version of Android because I would like to use the external memory as internal.
Somebody knows if it is possible?
Does it work the swap trick used for Android 4.1 on Android 5.1?
I tried to root with Kingroot but didn't work.
Does somebody knows about any other app?
Thanks to everybody

How to Root Android 5.1 general/on Wiko Pulp 4G

Does someone have a tip how to root Android 5.1 on my brand new Wiko Pulp 4G? I thought I have seen someone around on this before buying... but now I noticed it's more tricky than expected with Android 5.1.
Rooting PC programs/Android Apps like KingRoot etc. failed on this Android 5.1 device and as far as I know most still don't support Android 5.x anyway.

don't know why the should fail. just install die kingroot app, root the device with it, make this steps http://www.w0lfdroid.com/2015/05/How-to-Remove-Replace-KingUser-KingRoot-with-SuperSU.html , install flashfire and flash the xposed sdk 22 arm zip and you're good to go. but I didn't found a way to update via OTA yet..

Chromecast mirroring on asus memopad 10 with android 4.2

Hello !
I have an asus memopad 10 with android 4.2.2(last upgrade possible), kernel 3.0.36+.
It was perfectly rooted with kingoapp, i enabled mirror enabler 1.4 and then installed google cast to use screen mirroring function, but it didn't appear on the menu.
Can someone help me? There is a method to use google cast mirroring on android 4.2.2.?
I have to force android upgrade to kitkat 4.4.2.? It's possible?
Thank you!!!
P.s.: you suggest to use a more simple ezcast usb and the relative app for screen mirroring? I don't know if it works fine

idk whether this will help or not, but you can edit your build.prop so the app thinks that you use a kitkat tab. just chaange 4.2. to 4.4 and android sdk version from 18 to 20

I would like to upgrade my Navon tablet from 4.4.2 to 5.0 or above.
OTA update or official ROM from the manufacturer not available of course.
I have searched for custom ROMs but I didn't find any usable for this device.
Can someone recommend any ROM I should use?
Thx, L
I would also like to say something because I have such a machine ...
but I have found so many solutions to be able to use Root rights acquisition (KingoRoot.apk) and download programs via Link2SD to Sd card formatted on pc fat32-ex4- linux swap partition .... but these help google. I would also like to have a well-functioning system on the tablet. thx

{Problem} Running old apk on recent Android versions

Hi everyone!
I'm facing a "big little" problem with an custom made Android app. I don't have code skills so I don't know how to change the code of the appk.
The problem is something like this:
- Have an apk created a few years ago, with the API level 19 (android 4.4). It runs okay at all Android 4, 5 and 6 versions, but since android 7 I can't use it. Is an application that need root privileges to work properly.
There are any simple way to do something that allow me to run that apk on Android <=7 version?
Can't downgrade Android version because the stock version of my actual android phone is the 7.1, can't go lower than that.
Sorry if my question is not well explained, my English is not too great.
Thanks
Cheers.

Don't worry , your English is understandable
I don't think you can run older APK on a newer Android version. Because the API used in this app may be deprecated or something like that.
I'm not sure of the info I provided you here so if someone tell you the opposite , he may be right .
