Change default rear camera? - Moto X4 Themes, Apps, and Mods
Hey guys,
My main rear camera is broken and I was wondering if my default camera can be changed to the wide-angle lens, because the wide angle lens works fine. The phone is a Moto X4 and it has a dual rear camera set up.
So my question is:
Could I maybe modify the default rear camera ID in the Camera2 api?
Or is there a build prop flag that I can modify that changes the default rear camera to the wide angle lens?

camera lens mod, and need help
HI, my plan is to remove the lens elements on the back camera to expose the sensor and make a adapter for DSLR lenses. Ive allready done some tests on a VGA webcam and the results was very very good. I was able to get an insane amount of zoom out of a 55-250mm lens with "good" picture quality. I did carefully remove the lens elememts on the back of the camera so the sensor is visible, but since I have removed the focus/shutter mecanism I get a error when I start the camera app, which seems to be the same as the when you have a stuck "shutter" (callback error on startup). Is there a way to bypass this error and ignore the built in camera checks so i can use the camera without the autofocus/shutter parts. Any tip would be usefull, my phone is rooted so I can test different camera mods or roms.
Cycling through lenses in the Google Camera app
I know that we can cycle through the front and rear camera in the Google Camera app, but only the wide angle lens is able to be selected; the standard FFC lens does not appear available. Am I missing something, or is this an oversight in the app for this device?
