Moto g xt1033 hardbrick and bootloader locked - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

my cell phone gave hardbrick a while back, at the time that gave it still had no solution, but now it has, however it is necessary to have bootloader unlocked and mine is not, when I try to install ROM it says that I do not have bootloader permission. I have tried to unlock, more of the failure, I tried to install the ROM by rsd plus the cell phone is not recognized. I need your help, I do not have the money to buy another cell phone. Please help me.

low memory problem for lapdock and atrix4g

hey guys I had a atrix 4g that i sold to a friend of mine. before i did i had rooted it and unlock the bootloader. so i can run titanuim backup to get m data off.
the problem is the phone now which still has stock rom on it. is giving my buddy low memory error when he plugs it into the lapdock. its has never done that before and only started now. i read on another thread that it might have something to do with the unlock bootloader or something. i didnt install any custom rom or any customer recovery on it. just rooted and unlock bootloader then got unlock code to unlock phone for different network.
any help would be great my friend really wants to use the lapdock like i used to.
thanks in advance

SGP321 looses gsm signal

I bought this tablet 2 months ago in our local t-mobile. And everything was fine until 2 weeks ago when it suddenly started loosing gsm signal.
At first i thought it had something to do with me rooting it. So i tried repairing it 2 times but with no luck. After that i tried downgrading to 4.1.2 and that didn't work either.
So basically i can be online (surfing, downloading etc.) for few minutes before it drops gsm signal (no signal icon in statusbar) and after few minutes it comes back and then it drops again...
I'd like to know if it can be fixed without taking it to nearest sony repair service. Did anyone encounter similar problem and manage to fix it?
btw bootloader is locked (unlock allowed: no) so flashin another kernel/ROM is out of the question...

Have you tried factory resting it ? Also you can unlock the boot loader just search xda im sure ive seen a guide somewhere ? i was going to say take it back to Sony as it might be a hardware problem but since you have rooted it your warranty has been voided...

Well firmware flashing via SUS repair option usually does that for me.. but yeah, i tried factory reset as well. And about bootloader unlocking i've been searching for a guide ever since i bought it. No such luck... Apparently if it's "bootloader unlock allowed: NO", it's meant to stay that way. At least until someone finds a way around it.
I've got a vague idea about how does rooting work and that tells me if i did a complete wipe and flashed my tablet, how can they detect it?
I mean.. it's a complete reinstall, how are they supposed to know that the tablet was rooted on previous firmware if it currently isn't?

Well im no pro, but don't they have some kind of binary counter witch tells the manufactures the devices has been rooted ? i know that's how Samsung goes about identifying if the devices has been rooted... But Sony im not too sure, Also your theory does hold ground, if you clean install from the ground up then Sony shouldn't be able to tell, if the device has been rooted, also you do know that Sony have a guide on there website on how to unlock the boot loader ? Here check it out http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/unlock-bootloader/

I know about that website. That's how i unlock every sony i come across that needs unlocking
But it also says if the "Bootloader unlock allowed" is NO in service menu, then there is no hope for unlocking the bootloader. At least not officially.. until someone comes with a solution for that..
So i managed to get some extra details on that problem.
Apparently i can't get LTE signal anywhere. And when i get LTE, connection automatically drops.
Could it be that the LTE chip is faulty? Does that mean that i'll probably get another device... because somehow i doubt that theyll try to replace the motherboard

please help not able to root / not able to boot into recovery

Hi Fellow Users!
I just bought LG v10 yesterday with international warranty even though i live in UAE, the problem is i am following all the steps from "step by step guide to root for tmo" but unfortunately i am not able to boot into phone recovery which is odd for me as i am a long time user of android, is that possible my phone doesn't have one? I tried everything adb, manually but nothing worked, i once booted my phone into recovery via adb but i saw green android picture with no command written on it and fastboot didn't worked there so there is that.
1) i tried dirty_cow but stuck at getenforce "permissive didn't appeared which is must needed, i think its related to my bootloader"
2) should i follow LGUP procedure even i am not sure my bootloader is unlocked?
P.S my phone is TMO although its unlocked to use any network.
Please advise, thank you
Unfortunately flashing KDZ file bricked my phone, :crying:
Now its just off it doesn't turn on tried everything any advise?
Update: Went to LG TechServe and handed over my phone to re-flash the original firmware, bad thing they don't cover international warranties as i live in UAE and the model i have is TMO with international warranty so there's that.
Reason to share the story, may people learn from this.
Have you tried with Kingroot app or kingoroot app? These apps can root many devices.

Mi a3 get soft bricked

Hello sir,
I recently flashed a custom rom using twrp and successfully done, but then i thought to re-lock bootloader,
So, i did that using command
"fastboot flash oem lock"
and my device get bricked, it said the system has been destroyed
And screen get stuck in fastboot
I tried again flash twrp but nothing happened,
I also tried to flash by MiFlash tool but nothing happened,
Pls solve my problem
That's not a soft brick. That's a truly proper bricked device.
To relock a bootloader you must be 100% pure stock with no modifications whatsoever.
You can't relock a bootloader if you have a custom ROM installed.
The fact you locked the bootloader now opens up a lot of issues for you and the only way to recover is flashing in edl mode with a verified mi account.
In other words your going to have to look for someone with a verified account and give them remote access to your pc and probably have to pay them to get your device up and going again.
If you have a service centre near where you are you can try there but a person with a verified account is what you need.
Also you can't ask anyone here for it because paid services are against forum rules.
Always read up on stuff before attempting anything on your device.

Bootloader unlocked for samsung A10

I'm using samsung A10,i try to root my phone but not sure the step are correct or not. But now my bootloader is unlocked and my data was erase, how to lock the bootloader and recover my data's back. Please help me
Even if you manage to re-lock the bootloader the data are unrecoverably wiped.
So I've been having this issue for a while now. I would like to unlock the bootloader on my Samsung and I'm struggling severely. I've done so much research and attempts and phone calls and in the end, my hands always turn up empty. Could someone please give me some advice or a guide to what I'm supposed to do because it seems like this specific phone under the Tracfone carrier is a ghost when it comes to this and rooting. Once I get a lead I'm suppose to enable oem unlock, well my phone doesn't have one. I've waited more than a week with developer options on and I've even tried adb and fastboot. Still nothing, I really need an expert's help but I can't seem to find anyone. Not even XDA is helpful with this phone. Yeah they have the A10 or A10s but not the A10e under the Tracfone carrier with the model number SM-S102DL. Help would be much appreciated. Thank you
