Tasker start task on specific time on game - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am interested in this and it is very important that someone explain to me and say whether it can be done and if it can, how?
I play BOWLING KING and I read that TASKER can only do many operations, wondering if it can do it. one game takes about 180 seconds, then ends, and after that SEARCH PLAYER is opened, what interests me is whether it is possible with the touch program to get someone to start looking for a player after the 180s, and not that I have to do it . If possible, how to do it? Is it possible to do this or to connect a botmaker with a task? Thanks.

You can do this by using the Auto input tasker plugin
Create a task like
-if app launched
-wait .... Seconds
-Click on the search player area (using auto input plugin)
-again wait ... Seconds
-click on search player
Repeat the above loop
Hope my information was helpful

Hi, I started working again how you told me and everything is fine, but when I click on SEARCH PLAYER then OK / ACCEPT does not lead me to TASKER but to AUTOINPUT and see what happens when I enter AUTOINPUT afterwards. I do not know what I have to choose. I clicked on FIELD TYPE type. I did everything you said, but what should I choose when I returned the tasker?

Good day. I did what you told me, I came to an end, but it makes me confused
Repeat the loop (after a 10 seconds waiting action from the automatic action i.e.from)
Done
What to do again, what to choose from these options in the window, it seems to me that I did not do nice and did not start SEARCH PLAYER, when I finish everything in the lower left corner of the PLAY icon do I have to click on it?
Here's a picture from GO-TO , where confused me what I need to choose
And on notification shows me no active profiles and look what shows more, and it is profile good?
Thanks so much

You have to choose the action number corresponding to the auto input action
There should be no reason for Tasker to show as no active profile
It also seems that you haven't purchased autoinput plugin. It is a paid app and you will have to purchase it to make it work

In this case, action number coresponds to 1 i.e.1 is the wait 10 seconds action
In the below video you have wrongly selected the autoinput action
You should click on add only at 2:48 i.e. when the search player option appears
You clicked even before starting the game (at the at the menu button on home screen)

I understand, I'm going to make a mistake, so I need to enter number 1? for GOTO?
And what should I choose from the drop-down menu in the task / goto?
You say that I only need to click on SEARCH PLAYER once?
Select add option in notification
Click on search player
Click on OK in notification
When the game ends, then I have to click first on ADD then SEARCH PLAYER and then OK? is that right?
This confuse me
I understand, after finishing the game, DO NOT MAKE CLICK ON SERACH PLAYER, only on OK / ADD?

If I'm no longer boring, I think I understand if this goes like this: after autoinput / easy setup / I first select the application and then click on ADD?
And I think I'm mistaken for adjusting the goto, I do not think I set a good setting.
I'd like to ask you once more to explain to me.
When I finish the profile, I click on the play icon, but again shows No active profiles
Thanks so much , very much thanks .

[APP][UPDATED Updated 26/01/2010] PLToggle - Toggle screen rotation

I made this program in answer to a request in the HD2 General forum, but thought I should post it here.
It's a small app that toggles the display orientation back and forth to the rotation of your choice, without the need for the g-sensor.
The default installation includes the settings screen (available from your start menu), and the application itself, which is available via a long-hold of the call button. When the application is first installed, it defaults to standard landscape (the left of the phone being the bottom), but this can be changed via the settings screen.
BIG THANKS!! to vonski and Eldorado9 for their patience and testing. Thanks guys
Have fun
Note:
Manila doesn't like being forced into landscape, so you can't use this app for that - sorry. It works upside-down, just not sideways. (I've got a HD2 with Sense/Manila 2.5)
Also, I've only tested this on a WVGA device and would like to know how it works on other resolution devices, so please feel free to private message me with any feedback regarding this.
Change details (26/01/2010)
Removed the long_send link that was originally being installed in the Windows folder.
For some reason, when you press the call button to answer a call, it executes the long_send link, despite only being a quick send.
This only happens when there's an incoming call. I've removed this link from the installer, but you still execute the toggle with a long-hold of the call button.
NOTE: The installer will remove the long_send link from your windows folder.
Change details (13/01/2010)
Added the settings screen so there's now only 1 installer, instead of 3.
If you do have the previous version, you can simply delete it from the windows folder, or just leave it and install this one.
It will override the existing version's functionality, despite being able to install it on your storage card now.
Great Job!
John,
Great job and thanks for this. First thing that comes to mind is why did you not combine these into one programme so one can have the option to go left, right or upside down without having to install 3 separate apps?
If its not difficult to do and you can spare the time to do it then I would be very interested in a single combined app that I could run off my quicklinks.
I'm subscribing to this thread to watch developments.
Thanks again.

It actually is 1 program, but the shortcut (long_send) is different in each zip file, and that tells the app which direction to rotate the display.
This started because someone asked for an app that would put their display in landscape and then back again, with a long-hold on the call button. After I'd done that for them, someone else asked for the opposite direction. Whilst doing that I remember that someone had once asked how to change the display to upside-down, so I did that at the same time.
The main idea here is that you pick a default rotation, and then you only have a button press to toggle it on and off. Anything more than that would require a UI and therefore more interaction, and since I'm trying to keep interaction to a minimum, that sort of goes against the principle of it.
I'll have a think about it though, but I think what you're suggesting is a completely different application. I'm not against doing that, but it won't be part of the development of this.
Thanks for the suggestion mate
Ah ok, I see. Also understand the "minimalist" philosophy behind the development.
The way I would use a programme like this would be to have it as a quicklink on my front screen (I tend not to link things to hardware buttons) which would then give me the options of (L)eft, (R)ight or (U)pside Down. If that requires a UI (I guess it does) then don't go to all that trouble.
The problem with me is I don't always rotate my device the same way all the time (I'm weird like that) although upside down is a new one on me (I remember Tubgirl, I think, asking for that).
Cheers anyway.
WB
Very nice....it's much more convenient than using BSBTweaks and shaking it... Thanks!
Just a quick question:
I use the Standard Windows Hardware Button Assignment and mapped my internet browser button with "rotate Screen"...
now here for the question: Is it possible to write that app for other buttons too? 'cause i'd love to have multifunction on my browser button and your app is almost perfect for it^^ short press = Opera, long hold = rotate... that would be SO AWESOME!!!!
btw: your app is great as it is now.... it's just a question^^

I think to do what you've suggested, you'd need something like AEButtons. I've never used it myself, but I believe you can assign different actions for long and short button presses to hardware buttons.
Hope this helps

You'll need to look at other software for that. Try AEButtons. It's not something I use myself, but I believe it will do what you want.

Heh - They're far from honed! If it were a windows (PC) app I was building, I'd have no problems. I'm pretty nifty around windows on a PC, but mobile dev is pretty new to me, so I'm just picking it up as I go along. I haven't seen that prompt myself.
But if it was from an application (or system app) you can go into settings->Applications (click the menu key to filter and see system apps)->Click the application that you want->scroll down and click "Change defaults".
Next time the action is performed it will prompt you for your default action.

[Help] Tasker Scene (Load-App, *Task-Wait*, Input-Button-Volume Up) Slider?

Alright so I have created a (SCENE) that I am exporting as an app where when a button is clicked it will (APP-LOAD APP), (TASK-WAIT-5 seconds) then (INPUT-BUTTON-VOLUME UP). My problem is I can only figure out how to make preset (Wait) times. I am looking for a way to make a user specified (Wait) time. I want to implement a slider in the app that adjusts how long the (TASK) should (WAIT) before performing the simulated button push. I tried my best to explain what I am trying to do. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Which version are you using? JB/ICS or the one for Gingerbread or below?
For JB/ICS:
1/ place the slider on the scene - set it to default value 5 - go to 'value selected' - add new task variabele set - set %WAIT_TIME_SLIDER to %new_val
2/ no open the wait action you already made. tab on the two arrows that overlap, you now get the option to type a value instead of select it with a slider. type here: %WAIT_TIME_SLIDER
I didn't check this out, but it should work normally... good luck!
Thanks! For some reason though, it doesn't listen to the time wait command... it just issues the input button press immediately after the app is opened, regardless of what I set on the slider... hmm

Oops, yeah my bad haha. Thanks! Alright...what I'm looking to implement now is...ok, you know how we have the slider now. I want to be able to set the slider to the TIME WAIT then..have a button next to the slider that executes everything all together. So..I'm trying to have an app open, the slider sets the TIME WAIT before the INPUT VOLUME UP...but I want a button next to the slider that the user pushes after he sets the time wait for the above task.
That sounds confusing but I don't know a better way to word it haha.

Check my first reply again for what to do to make it include everything, the only thing i didn't say was the button
1/ place the slider on the scene - set it to default value 5 - go to 'value selected' - add new task variabele set - set %WAIT_TIME_SLIDER to %new_val
2 / place a button on the screen, when you tap on the button, let it execute the task that opens up the app, wait for X seconds and change volume. See **
3/ now open the wait action you already made. tab on the two arrows that overlap, you now get the option to type a value instead of select it with a slider. type here: %WAIT_TIME_SLIDER - make sure you change the settings to "abort existing task"
** If you want the app to open immediatly while waiting for the volume to go up, your task should consist out of follow steps, in that practicullar order:
1. open app
2. Wait -> %WAIT_TIME_SLIDER seconds
3. Volume buttons (but I never used that in tasker, so it has to be an action that exists, not sure about it)
*** if you want the slider to remember the set interval it gets a bit more complicated.
If your familiar with programming here are some hints to set it the first time so it won't give an error on first run (this should be at the beginning of your task):
if %WAIT_TIME_SLIDER !isset
{%WAIT_TIME_SLIDER set to 5}
Now the first step on the progress changes:
1/ place the slider on the scene - set it to default value %WAIT_TIME_SLIDER
All the rest stays the same.

i guys, so we all know that there's alot of auto click app that works by record your click on the screen and repeat it. Click 1 to click 2 is separate by seconds between it. But what i want to find here is an auto click app that from click 1 to click 2 is separate by a task or an action of the character between it.
For example, in a game i play, it has a mission that i have to kill an amount of monsters to complete. When i'm done killing the amount of monsters needed, a board will appear and i have to click "OK" to receive the reward and move to the next mission, which is also killing an amount of monsters in a different map. The amount of seconds from Mission 1 "OK" button to mission 2 "OK" button is different from mission 2 to mission 3. That's why the common auto click app won't work.
Please tell me that there's this kind of app.
If there is not, i think i have to do a more advanced stuff.
So in this game there are that kind of auto "OK" which is coded inside the game, but only for a few missions, where can i find these kind of code so i can replicate it to other missions. And yes, i am talking about modding an apk file.
Sorry for my bad english.
The other one is in wrong section so post this here.
Find an app named "Robotmon" on google play. It supports image recognition and auto click. I think that might suit for your needed.
Good luck.

[Amazfit Stratos] How to customize intervals in seconds ?

Hello,
I just received my Amazfit Watch Stratos (English version, rom version 2.3.2.8)
Do you know how create customize intervals in seconds with Amazfit Watch app?
I can create a new Interval in my app, but the minimum interval duration is 1 min.
I'd like to do this :
20 seconds running
30 seconds recuperation
Maybe i could change the minimum interval parameter somewhere ?
If it is not possible with Amazfit app, maybe it could be with another app (wich one ??) ?
thks
It's not possible as of now. If you have an international model (A1619) you can suggest the feature here:

Well, i tried it.
It works BUT .... i can't use this app and running app together (because when i start my running activity app to , i can't acces anything else as long as this app is working)
Do you know how to keep using runing app (to record HR, calories,...) in background and use an other app?
You can use quick launcher to switch between . I use it for a better stopwatch function than the default one.
How could i do that ? quick launcher with buttons ? I can change feature for each button ?

You can start the interval app from your regular screen with a swipe gesture when done you swipe the interval app away and you are back.

I think he meant that, with QuickLauncher installed, you can invoke it using a swipe gesture, so you can start the interval app...
Hey, you must install this app: Sidebar Lite: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mohammad.adib.sidebar.lite and start it
2 step: Install Amazfit Interval Timer 0.1b
Now, You start e.g. Run app from Sports in watch, and You can turn on the Interval Timer from Sidebar. Your activity its still record.
It works very well.
Sorry about my English.
Running interval

Many options:
1. adb install apk_name.apk
2. Amazfit Tool available elsewhere on XDA (Win only)
3. APKInstaller.com (Win only)
I would recommend QuickLauncher over SideBarLite.
I tried SideBarLite for a while and found that it kept getting dumped from memory.
QuickLauncher seems to stay active very reliably.
You can get both of them from this link. Also includes apkinstaller.exe and a bunch of Pace compatible apps.

When it come to global version and app for iOS .
I tried the Interval timer together with Quick Launcher. I can switch from running to timer, but how can I switch from timer to running? In launcher, there is no icon for opened running session, just the sport icon, which leads to sport start page, not to the opened session...
Thanks in advance...

Try using watch's button to lock/unlock watch. If it doesn't open, simply open the same sport again, IIRIC this is what I have used in the past...
