I just bought this amazing phone, but i have two question.
It's possible automatic record all incoming call from unknow number? My previous phone (xiaomi mi max 2) did it and was an amazing feature.
How can i encrypt the phone? should be an option in security section, right? but i cannot find it.
Phone: honor 8x (Honor view 10 lite in Italy)

not idea about the recording. regarding encryption, it is already encrypted by default in all newer androids.

Xiami mi4: I think this device doesn't have device encryption. That is as per Google search.
My work email requires encryption.
I'm in India and all these devices are available through Amazon India so I think they will be global version. Not the Chinese version.

Hi everybody. I've recently installed on my Xiaomi Mi A3 the last version of Pixel Experience. I'm really glad of this Android 10 rom, but I've spotted a very pesky bug with my fingerprint reader. I can't use it, because my phone let me only register the fingerprint but not unlock the phone with it. Also the Smart Lock function Reliable Device doesn't work and there's no trace of Face Unlock (neither the default one nor the Smart Lock one). I find very annoying not having the possibility of keeping the smartphone unlocked with Smart Lock or locked with "quick" unlocking methods. If you have the same problem or you know how to solve it, you're welcome.

So I have to use it and there's no solution? And also there's no update with February patch?
I have also another two problems. No one app can write, modify or delete anything on my SD. I already formatted it and then I re-copied my files into it, but there's no solution.
Last problem, wide lens in GCam. It works in no one of the version I tried.

Received mi MI A3 (EU) Version this week and was very disappointed, as it doesn't seem to support wpa2-aes.
Does somebody know, if the upgrade to android 10 will solve this issue?

my router force wpa2-aes, work welly well with mi a3 eu version.
Mi A3 supports WPA2-AES. Like pretty much every Android device does since Android 2.0.x.

Also, i would like to flash an indonesian or chinese rom in order to have call recording, is it possible ? Or Thoses roms are basically region/model locked ?

I have exactly the same model running MIUI 11 and not rooted. I am using Cube ACR from playstore which works well. It was a surprise to me as I thought Google had stopped call recording in android 10. I used Cube on my last rooted phone so thought i would give it a try here.

I just tried, and like every other recording apps, it's only recording youre voice and not the one you are calling..
Also, i prefer when it's native function and not as an app
My Joyeuse with global rom has a call recording feature inside the Google phone app
Hi everyone, I'm new in the forum (sorry for the bad english, I'm italian). I have a xiaomi mi a3, it's great but after the update to Android 11 i have a problem:
in Android 10 i changed the color of system and my cousin in his mi a3 changed the font (all on the developer option, nothing modded). Now in andoid 11 there isn't the option to change the color and font. So, how i can change this option without modding?? Thaks.
Hi, it certainly fails because with the update the modules have also changed so you also lose the previous one did you make a backup before? also on Drive and then download the internal archive which then depends on the software anyway go to your menu at the top right click Forums and try with another Guide address, good luck
