Is it just me or does the FP not work for apps like Tez, Paytm. I have to draw pattern to unlock everytime. I've also checked the options under FP setting, still it doesn't work.

I want to use applocker to lock apps with my fingerprint, but it requires me to register fingerprints through settings. Settings does not allow me to register fingers, as it wants me to turn on the stock lock screen. However, I'm using a third party lock screen. Is it possible to bypass this requirement and use to fingerprint locking for just apps?
As the title says, is there any app where I can lock an app, or a bunch of apps, with the chosen finger's fingerprint option? I have multiple ones registered, but just wanna use a specific finger, to unlock a specific app. Possible?
I have tried Finger Security, App Lock of Keepsafe and App Lock of Cheetah, none of them worked.
Is there a possible way to store my fingerprint in my phone, for apps that have that feature, without using it as a lockscreen?
I have a few apps, like Lastpass and my banking app, that allow use of a fingerprint instead of a password. These seem to be based on a fingerprint saved in my phone itself, the one that would be used for my lockscreen. When I turn off lockscreen the fingerprints are no longer an option. Is there a workaround for this? I am on a Sprint HTC 10.
As the heading says, if i choose not to lock screen (pin, password, Gesture) fingerprint recognition will not work when trying to use secured (Banking) apps.
Known issue? any way around this?
I recently updated my phone and now even though I have set up fingerprint and PIN for unlock, it's just straight-up opening without the need for the Fingerprint or PIN. The lock screen still shows the option to enter pin but one swipe will unlock the phone despite not even entering the PIN or using the fingerprint.

Update:- Turns out the update has enabled on-body detection.
Solution:- The latest update somehow turns the Smart Unlock feature by default. Just go to Settings -> Security -> Smart Unlock and disable all the options for unlocking it via Smart Lock. This will solve your problem.
