Hello, you can open Settings > Display > More Display Settings > Display Real-time Network Speed.

You might choose to show only very few system icons (if any) so to free some space for network speed and notifications.
For this task you might use the System UI tuner as described here:

At the end remember to reboot the phone to apply all changes.

oh! it is a nice app, thank u!
Tested on CM10.2, it`s working but you got boot loop when enable or disable Super Status Bar, you`ve to take out the battery and put it again to make the device boot normally.

How to choose which icon is shown in statusbar without closing the app???

Hey,
ive 5 apps that has an icon on statusbar but there is only place for 4 icons, so the icon of one app is not shown in statusbar, only in this dropdown notification center (or whatever the name is)!
so my question is:
How can i choose which icons are displayed in statusbar ( without closing them)???????

Can I change the status bar icons on the Verizon variant of the phone?

I would really like the stock Android status bar icons. My main gripe is that 4g/3g takes up a whole other icon instead of being combined into the cell signal. Any chance of modifying these without root?
This is always my complaint on Verizon phones. They insist on messing with the icons. I have not figured out anything yet, besides using a material status bar app from the play store, but the problem with it is the status bar will not go transparent on the home screen with Nova launcher. Once we can get Andromeda or Substratum support, it opens up a whole new world.

So close! This lets me enable/disable various status bar icons but not change them. Thanks though.
Found it! An app just called Status. Transparency on the homescreens only works if you have a non-live wallpaper tho.

Cool, thanks. I was really hoping to avoid just overlaying the system status bar, but that might be the only way unfortunately.

How to change the status bar color according to the application?

Hello everyone, I'm using a ROM resuretion 5.8.5 remix on my mido. I want to change the system interface such as changing the status bar of the application, just like on my previous iPhone. How do I do it? Thanks
You can personalize status bar and also a whole lot of things on RR ROM, it is easily customizable. Open settings and under Personalization open configurations and you'll have the option to change all the UI related stuff.

The status bar is actually transparent, and the color shade you see on it in an app depends upon the app theme.
As you can see in the screenshots i attached, the status bar color depends upon the app you are using.
[In reality it depends upon the darkcolor value of the theme which the developer has set for the app]
