first.. setting from #1 is nit working (only switch between old a pie navbar, but this is already in gesture aettings)
second... all app have diferent activities (~screens), some not access via menu/buttons from main activity showed while you run apk...
but "all" activities you can run (and create shortcut)via:

or
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.majeur.applicationsinfo
or on NovaLauncher created ocon/shortcut to selected activity...
you can try run (with some of above method) activities f(r)om Settings app...

[APP][5.0.0+][XPOSED] HowGiveLolli

Stops shouting for a Lolli.
THIS MODULE PREVENTS LOLLIPOP FROM USING UPCASE EVERYWHERE, LIKE NOTIFICATION ACTIONS, DIALOGS AND BUTTONS. I DON'T LIKE IT AND THINK IT WAS A BAD DECISION.
Additional it is also annoying to have a 7" display, but the dialog buttons are shrinked now. Most time there is just a JA, NO, OK or GO - and you have to hit it. I'm not a monster, but my fingers are larger than of a 10 year old child.
So this module also uses for these buttons the whole width of the dialogs, like it was previously. You could set the position for a the text of 1 button dialogs to center or default position by open the module. Initial its random so you could check what's more suitable for you.
Only compatible with AOSP Lollipop!

This affects not only dialogs but also tabs in apps, eg Tasker, nova launcher, ... Could you please make it its only for dialogs?

Thx for the screenshot! I've disabled the upcase transformation global, there is not available by which component it is requested.
But anyway upcase tabs are ugly, it so Visual Studio style ^^
It would be great if you could add buttons to enable/disable upcase. I really like your work of putting the buttons in center and using the whole width, that is great. But I like the capital letters, too  :good:

sometimes the button text resets to its default place, even when i choose "center" in the module settings (only happens with single-button dialogs).

Sometimes Android "forget" to create shared_pref directory in the apps data dir. Then savin preferences is not possible, but no error. You could check with a root enabled file manager. Or you could get an "shared preferences" editor/viewer from play store to verify that there was a value saved

If you create it by "root" only root is allowed to r/w/x -> set user+group+permission like other dirs, eg the existing "files" or "cache".
Another "fix" could be to remove & reinstall.
But the suspect is that the directory is missing sometimes!

Dark notifications and other overlays

Read this and some posts before posting!!!
This is an overlay thread...for rro overlays -think layers not substratum..If you have any safe overlays you found works nicely with the phone. You can upload it...with a picture. You can install the overlays and apps found in this thread without root and can modify your system to have dark notifications, different nav bar icons, different nav bar height..etc these are very small like Kb's in size so it's lightweight also..please hit the thanks button there is a lot of work in these files..TAKE A SCREEN SHOT when you install these overlays in case you dont want it, because these apps have various names installed.
the op is updated to like page 30 or something your going to have to do a little work and look around but hey you might also learn something along the way...use the search thread function to find your favorite devs work...

I don't like the Pixel ones but the idea is very nice, just need to find some custom icons to replace in the apk and use those.
Here are overlays for samsung rounded ui.. Unzip package below install as normal apk reboot done.
Only some of your menus will be rounded Samsung is to far from stock Android-your status bar will not be rounded.

Here is a pick of the playstore...this mod is subtle you will notice it on pop up menus and stuff it may not be for everyone as its not 100% complete . BTW I install all of these first to make sure there won't be any problems. So you can just install it and delete it if you don't like it the zip file is way less then a mb to download.
Is it possible to get the Stock Android Navbar aswell? Thank you!

[MODS] Remove Carrier Labels and Precise Animation Scales

I recently read about the use of RRO theming for the s8, so I took some practice and made this.
This mod basically hides the carrier label (AT&T, Verizon, etc...) from the status bar on the lockscreen and in the notification center (bottom).
You can see in both attached photos there is no carrier in the top left status bar and bottom of notification center.
Apk here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8DTpyUdT0UAeDF5a1E2OE5XVkU
Any thoughts? I'm making more of these mods. Give me ideas ;P
EDIT: I forgot I made another one. Gives you more precise animation scales in developer settings.

Nice, @Tigerhoods sent me this and is better than what I was currently doing. I just added .27 and .75 animation scales. I like what you have done more. We have both been putting our heads together and see all what other kids we can come up with. I am currently trying to get access for those of us who are carrier decided to remove the ability to display the weather icon on the lockscreen. I can add the access to a different XML, but because the original XML does not show the fragment, I can't currently get it to work. I asked in the Q&A thread if anyone had the the name of the shortcut.
If you want we need to get a telegram group together and see what all we can come up with. I currently have everything I have done on my git.
I made an oem unlock switch show up in a different area hoping to help out with root, but there is more that the Java files do when the switch is turned on than just a simple switch making a system broadcast.

PSA: Enable Gesture Nav with 3rd Party Launchers (Nova, LawnChair, etc)

FYI if you run the following command in ADB setting a 3rd party launcher as the default, it will switch back to Gesture Nav.
Code:
adb shell cmd overlay enable com.android.internal.systemui.navbar.gestural
I love Nova and this works great for me.

On my S10+ there was a weird navigation bug using the adv command to enable gestures. Do you experience anything different on the S20?
There is a quick flash that makes the multi task view show for a fraction of a second, but it is super quick and totally bearable.
I love you. Super needed this.
Is there anyway to have this continue after a reboot? It seems to stop working after one.
Yeah worked for me as well - seems like a little lag but overall bearable.
Works with Shade Launcher! Thanks!

The manufacturers need make Google's patch that fix this issue available, most OEMs haven't made it available yet. Without root, there isn't a way to make it stick or work flawless unless we get that patch
The initial Android 10 release wasn't playing nicely with third-party launchers — to use the

FYI if you run the following command in ADB setting a 3rd party launcher as the default, it will switch back to Gesture Nav.
I love Nova and this works great for me.

You have to turn on USB Debugging in Developer settings and have adb on your PC. Connect your phone to your PC then run the adb command in terminal.
I'm patiently waiting and hoping they patch this so I can go back to Nova i don't have a PC to do this method

You can use the onehand operation+ app from the galaxy store instead. I find it even better than the default Samsung's gesture in term of customization. Work with Nova

I second that. One Hand Operation+ is awesome. I have been using it on S9+. As an addition I encourage to use other GoodLock apps with the use of NiceLock.

One handed operation app is awesome. I use it too.
What I am looking for, personally, is way to have a similar task switcher like Android 10 default in junction with this. I super hate the 3 button layout but I want the Google feed so I had to swap to a new launcher.
"Vivid NG" app is all you need
So I enabled Onehanded Operation+, and when I set Nova as my default launcher, it still seems to want to use the other navigation buttons along with Onehanded Operation+ . Is there a way to only use Onehanded Operation+ and hide or disable the system navigation?
