better you flash using the fastboot they show the correct error, but if is a gpt error i think is because you are trying to flash a older version.

you need to put the plataform tools inside the firmware with the scripts (stage0 is for full flash and stage1 is for relock the bootloader ps: to relock the bootloader you need to boot the os and connected to a network enable the developer options and enable oem unlock)

Hi there, I also got a Moto Z, just arrived from China and it is a sheridan variable. Here's my output:

My issue is that I can't unlock the device. Here's the catch: it says is already unlocked in the bootloader screen, but when I did this, it havent erased all data on the phone, so its the first weird thing.
The second is that I cant flash TWRP because it says it isnt signed (cant find the output, later I'll post here).
Any ideas?

you can boot to stock recovery, use the erase data and customization, boot connect to the net and re enable the oem unlock on developer options and try to do the oem unlock again
or
if you have the rom you flashed before? maybe its good to reflash the stock lock the boot loader and redo the process, your bootloader unlock key can be reused to re unlock

2nd file flashed in rsd -set ok-many many thanks

I guess I got it.
I didnt flash TWRP to my phone, but just boot with using 'fastboot boot twrp-bla-bla-bla.img' (found this command here: https://android.gadgethacks.com/how-to/install-twrp-custom-recovery-your-pixel-pixel-xl-0175163/ ).
Then I was able to boot into TWRP, so I installed Magisk (finally got my phone rooted, oh yeah! Ahaha), but I havent tried to do a 'regular TWRP install' yet.
Later I'll write here with follow up. Tks.

Moto Z XT1650 - 03 Stock Firmware - Android N 7.0

Dear all,
I have a question about Android N 7.0, what time will XT1650 - 03 RETEU stock firmware be released ?
Due to in this share drive: https://firmware.center/firmware/Motorola/Moto Z/Stock/XT1650-03/
Many of devices' firmware are released, like RETUS, RETMX ROGERS and so on, but I cannot find any about EU, my device is British Version.
I also searched lot of forums, in China or other region, but still have not.
I want to flash the full firmware.
Thank you.
any one knows the one I have to use for the unlocked version running on t-mobil?
Thanks
If somebody comes up with the firmware, I pledge €10 for beer via PayPal . Need to relock my bootloader after a dual SIM upgrade

Lol
What exactly package you want?
What's your blur version?
Goto bootloader, connect to pc and :
"fastboot getvar all"
Already went through your site, maybe I've done something wrong, as I found only the OTAs
It's reported as Sheridan, though it's actually a Griffin as I followed this guide for enabling the second SIM on an EU XT1650-03.
The FW is currently NPL26.118-20. Maybe I could get away with just flashing boot, recovery, oem to achieve the bootloader relocking..

Yes it's only OTA
I can give you all boot and recovery images but you destroyed your blurversion as i can see in your getvar so not sure it works
Do you remember what was your firmware version when you unlocked bootloader and enabled second Sim?

Unfortunately, I didn't check that, as from my reading of the guide it should've been safe and easy to relock.. And no idea how I've messed the fw version by only changing the hex value and flashing TWRP.... everything else stock. I have TWRP backups of boot, recovery, system_image, system and firmware, is it possible to extract the value somehow from there?
ADB reports Blur_Version.26.51.19.griffin.retail.en.US from fully booted Android with reteu carrier.
I need the firmware for Moto Z xt1605-03
This is the blur version : Blur_Version.26.211.5.griffin.ret
Thanks in advance
I hope you guys know there is an official portal for all the Moto firmwares released. Just google it and you'll find it. I cannot share it because external links are not allowed.
Hey guys,
my Wifi and BT are somehow broken and are working only occassionally. I flashed back to 7.0 and rerun all the OTAs available with the OTA Downloader. After that an "offiicial" System Update appeared and I also installed that successfully. No change. Still having issues with my WiFi and BT.
Did I flash the wrong Firmware so the modem partition is faulty? Is this even possible as I was able to relock my bootloader? Could anybody provide a stock modem for NPLS26.118-20-5-11 for RETEU? Or should I flash the 7.0 modem without patches? Or even the 6.0 RETEU modem?
If it helps here is my fastboot getvar all

Hey guys,
my Wifi and BT are somehow broken and are working only occassionally.
If it helps here is my fastboot getvar all

sooo we have no root method for this phone period? even putting it in download mode and flashing superuser.zip?
Your vzw device has a bootloader that cannot be unlocked. You might be able to root with some exploit system.

I figured about as much. That's ridiculous.. Anyone want to trade phones lol
we all are screwed out bro
does this only happen to verizon phones, or also to unbranded ones from amazon?
I seriously am looking for a trade for this phone now.. Possibly even switch networks but my buddy added me to his plan so I can't beat 20 bucks a month

My device had a software problem and tried to run the process through ADB, RSD and Lenovo Smart, but it always comes back to this page, or the firmware is completely fixed on the device, but the screen always goes back to "initialization failure". until these problems occur, with everything working properly and has never been opened.
Could someone help me, this problem has always been solved easily by running the same firmware and now I'm stuck in it, I already appreciate the attention of the excellent XDA developers and those who help the forum to follow.

Same probelm here, but no solution for me yet. I tried lots of roms, but nothing changed. Have you tried forcing EDL mode (Emergency download mode - Qualcomm) and installing a blankflash?
Maybe it works for you...
I already exhausted all my knowledge trying to boot this phone, already googled-it for days :crying:
I didn’t try to force EDL mode, I’ll try to see if it resolves, if it works, I’ll be very sad about this situation
I've tried EDL, but doesn't work

No working "b" slot - XT1941-3

Hello, I have a Moto One XT1941-3 (deen retail), and I cannot use the b slot at all! In fastboot it says there is no valid bootloader for slot b when I run this command:
Code:
fastboot set_active b
so i flashed the bootloader in slot b, same error, i thought it might be a false error but when i switch to slot b it only runs in EDL/BlankFlash. I flashed the stock rom in slot b and also the OrangeFox recovery, but always the same error, it only runs in EDL/BlankFlash, when I clean slot b and click to restart the system, it goes to slot a, and puts itself to restart in recovery or bootloader from slot b it only starts in EDL/BlankFlash.
How can I get my slot b back to normal? (NOTE: I had never touched slot b before)
(The device model is Brazilian because I am Brazilian)
I'm using the stock rom.
Recovery: OrangeFox Recovery 11.1
