My screen does not display properly white colors (white spots on the screen). There is an Theme (CM7) or something similar, that have dark colors (including dialog boxes).
Is possible to replace system-level colors?

Hi, im rooted, on lollipop 5.0.2. I hate the settings menues with the white background. Can someone help me to change the white background to black. I have tried holo themer and it didnt work . It seems to modify something ,but i still have the white background. Holo themer works on some apps partly, but not full on many ive tried . Like the white background in messaging apk, i got the main menu black with white letters. But in individual conversaitions , the main text box is bright white, and i can put a background in each conversation thats black photo. But the main text box will still be white. But messaging is ok at this point.
Can anyone help me to fix my settings menu to black or dark background . PLEASE :crying:

First see screenshoot green and red color. Green is good black, red is not god black and colors were ' washed '
I have problems with black color most. On notification scrol down BLACK IS GOOD and working good. But, i open settings and black on settings app is 'washed'.
bootanimation,download mod and boot black is good. And all other color is lighter. My phoneis s4 i9506. But, on s3 neo and s3 and i9505 color is darker and better.
I also have problems with videos, when it's darker, poor quality and something appears in the footage. Any video to watch.
I TRY STOCK 5.0.1 and STOCK 4.4.2 and custom rom. But not helped. Adapt Display and Auto adjust tone is not.. I change this options 100x
So I have always used a livewallpaper.
But with this phone I get a green tint on the lockscreen and when I pull down the status bar.
Have I done something stupid or do you have the same experience?

The system detects the major color of the wallpaper and sets the translucent overlay with similar tint. I am running Alien shapes live wallpaper (black with colored lines) and my notification shade/lockscreen are grey. With static green(ish) wallpaper I get green tinted notification shade and lockscreen, with red wallpaper the tint is red. Last mi mix 3. There was no green tint on that one?
And starfield has 0 green. Black with whitish stars.
take a screenshot and check that green tint is in there or not

Feature has been present on clean Android versions. MIUI and maybe others probably did not implement it (fully/correctly).
Detection of color for live wallpapers is hit and miss. I vaguely remember that LWPs report their color to the system, not the other way around as with static wallpapers. Even almost black ones can trigger light theme. You can verify this feature with static wallpapers easily.

i have solve partially ,the tint only appears if you choose to put the same wallpaper as both(screen and lock screen)you need to put a diferent walllpaper on each one, and the green color(or any one tint) its gone
using a huawei y9 prime 2019
was looking for a dark theme that has dark notifications and notification bar without making it hard to read some of the stuff, some dark themes make the settings and other huawei apps basically unreadable since the text stays black and the background is black.
also has some got solution on when the dark theme is on, and you're typing sideways on the textbox, the text is white. making it black text or making the background to white?
