I have a US version honor 5x but use it in India. Can I enable VoLTE in some fashion by custom rom or using Indian version rom?

you cannot..
custom roms, for now, doesn't support volte
and if you use Indian version rom, you will lose IMEI and you have to throw your device then.. plz don't flash any other regional firmwares, which is not meant to your model

Are there currently any android pie roms for the H930DS[India] that support VoLTE on Jio carrier ?
I have Samsung A8 star from singapore which has 4gb ram and after updating to pie i couldn't enable VOLTE in India. I enquired the samsung service persons from singapore and they told that the software doesn't support indian VOLTE bands. what will happen if I flash the device with indian stock rom which is for 6gb devices or any other solution for this.
Before the update the same device supported Indian VOLTE.
Hey i have H8216 with 618 UK firmware, is somebody can tell me which firmware that support for VoLTE and VoWifi, and can you give me the link too
