Good for you. dont think everyone is fool. I have installed viper4x in oreo and its far better than dolby and more customisable. And even i have installed dolby in nougat custom roms. Lenovo stock rom is pretty ****ty with lags, freeze etc... So enjoy with nougat...

lineage os vs resurrection remix os vs miui speed comparison

I wanted to know among the above roms which is more faster and snappier in app loading, normal usage and also multitasking and memory management.
Dude, I have tried all of miui, resurrection remix and lineage os.
Best snappy and lagfree ROM from my opinion is resurrection remix 7.1 nougat from developer abhishek. It's very stable, now dominator kernel has also been integrated into ROM by abhishek, and you can flash nougat camera fix.
Moreover, resurrection remix ROM has full theming or substratum support!

Suhasr

But sound quality is a major bug, developers are not solving that bug! Sound is not that much good as compared to MIUI Even after installing Dolby Atmos and Viper4android !

Audio Mod's for Nougat Based ROM's on Kenzo

Can anyone tell me a sound mod which would work on Android Nougat for Kenzo(Redmi Note 3)......
Thank You in Advance.
Dolby Atmos from Magisk. I use it and it's very good, give it a try.

Which ROM?

To the admins: feel free to delete this thread and I'm sorry for breaking the rules, but please wait until someone hopefully offers to give some guidance, as follows...
There are over 20 ROMs for this phone and thanks to all the developers! Their time and effort is much appreciated.
But how do we choose which ROM to try? Few, if any, of the developers indicate what their ROM is good for, or how it is different from the others.
Such a (pinned?) thread would be a big help... Without it, people are drowning in options, threads to read through to find out what bugs each ROM has etc.
And since I'm here, please pin a thread explaining how to unlock, root etc. this phone.
LineageOS 15 by Abishek Best Rom
Hello,i try resurection remix is very good rom, smooth, battery life, customization is very good, another nuclear rom is very good too the battery got a life of half day, very customizable, the audio fx are working properly, another is the epic rom based on miui the ota are working properly, dont present bugs on cam, video call, the dolby atmos is very good too in my opinion you have to try epic rom for miui but if you want a custom rom nuclear is a very good choice
AEX 5.0 Much better than MIUI.

dolby audio on Mate 10/Pro

My question is that will we have dolby audio thing which p20 has that thing?
I don't think so, from what a heard we need to install a custom rom to be able to get sound mods working or even Xposed

Dolby is added in stock fw on P20 though.
I would LOVE if Huawei added Dolby Atmos to the Mate 10 range. We need to pester them about it. Dolby Atmos is in the stock firmware of the P20 range as already mentioned.

Diff between ported miui and stock Nougat ?

Hey guys, Kenzo have many ported miui nougat roms but how in terms of battery and performance do they differ from stock nougat aka Lineage OS.
In terms of gaming and ram management are they any good ??

Stock nougat for kenzo means Miui official nougat which kenzo never received from xiaomi.
Stock nougat in general term means AOSP nougat. Which is also called as stock android which google releases for public as open source.
Lineage OS is not stock. It is custom rom. It is derivative and based on stock android.
Coming to ur last question . yes los nougat is good and fully stable. But its not updated anymore.
everything is working.
But pie is also good and stable. Try latest AospExtended pie which is stable and all stuff is working. Try pubg on it and see.

I have used pie before ( many months back) but the battery drains quickly. So even minimal game playing seemed difficult to maintain if I am travelling.
Also video over lte didn't work then

It depends on health of battery. It may vary for u.
I m getting 5.5 hrs SOT.
I have used both stock as well as ported but i think there are not much difference but there is a little bit.
In stock rom like resurrection remix , lineage os , havock , pixel experience and etc have much good performance but their sound engine in both Oreo as well as pie are not good as compare to miui based rom (stock or ported) and the other things are best like latest os builds. Also camera performance is not better but in pie with Google camera the performance is awesome with portrait mood.
In ported rom Google pay
( tez ) app not working mainly in miui based ported rom. But their sound quality is best as miui use snapdragon plus audio engine.
Now i m using Revolution os which is customised rom of stock miui rom with working Google pay ( tez ) app and with best audio quality also better battery backup and best camera but it is in marshmallow but have all futures which is in naught like split screen etc.

Lol...dont be stupid.
First google and read meaning of Stock rom .
it is preinstalled on phone by OEM such as miui from xiaomi.
On Android One device we have stock android or AOSP which is preinstalled.
It has verified trusted signature. It is secured so all banking apps can work.
As far as sound quality is concerned. Now most of the latest kenzo pie rom like havoc, aex, bootlegger have already added Dirac sound support.
Didnt u enable Mi sound Enhancer in sound settings.?
It is as good as Miui sound.

I am using an unofficial lineage OS 14.1 with Dolby Atmos mod . But somehow the sound still lags behind that of miui.
This edition of lineage gets updated every month with secu patches.
Common problem with custom miui roms I have faced, is that wifi signal reception gets lower. Does not occur in pure android roms
