Oukitel OK6000 Plus Root information - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am looking to root my Oukitel OK6000 Plus, I have unlocked the bootloader and flashed the recovery with TWRP (TWRP_ok6000_plus-030918.img) but TWRP is upside down and locked so I can not do anything with it.
I guess I have 3 questions
1. does anyone know where I can get a different version of TWRP that will work with Oukitel OK6000 Plus ?
2. does anyone know how to go back to the stock bootloader so if I have any problems in the future I can use recovery.
3. does anyone know anymore information on rooting my Oukitel OK6000 Plus
I see there is information here about the Oukitel K6000 Plus but nothing about the Oukitel OK6000 Plus. The Oukitel OK6000 Plus is the US version so I do not think the files for the two are interchangeable.
Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

Maybe an respective answer is easier to receive in the Oukitel K6000 Plus Forum? This might be a thread interesting for you but I didn't check the content.

Thank you for the thread, I have already read it several times.
From what I am reading the OK6000 and the K6000 do not have interchangeable ROMs and the TWRP they are using does not work. There does not seem to be an official OK6000 thread.
I am just trying to gather information on the OK6000 so I can root it.

Oukitel C5 (not Pro) MTK6580 root tutorial?

Hello,
this is my first post and I didn't really know where to create this topic. So if I'm wrong, please move it
I bought an Oukitel C5 and thought that there is a root for it but it was for the Pro version of it. I already looked here and other forums for a tutorial, but I couldn't find anything.
Now I'm looking for a tutorial to root that phone. I tried the MTK droid tools, but they are only for Android 4. Also I tried vroot, kingroot and another app, but they didn't work. I couldn't find other tutorials.
The Oukitel C5 comes with the MTK6580 chip and Android 7.0.
Is there any tutorial how I could root that phone? I don't mind if I sit there for an hour to do it

Ulefone Power3 root?

Hello i would like to root my Ulefone Power3.
The Problem is a have to use the newest firmware from ulefone because i installed a new display and with the old roms the display won't work. Ulefone changed some things in the new rom...
And the twrp which is available for the Power3 works not with the new version. So i can't root without twrp.
I tryed kingoroot but it also won't work for me.
My bootloader is unlocked and i can send zip's with fastboot.
The rom running on my Phone is GQ3056MF1_HCS986A_Ulefone_V40.
I hope someone can help me rooting my phone or can build a working twrp or help to create a pre rooted rom maybe?
I saw many people here in the board with the same problem.
Please help us thanks
Still need help
I think there many Power3 / 3s users out there.. Maybe anybody can help.

Rooting Elephone U (Not Pro)

I'm trying to follow this guide , to install TWRP but unfortunately it's either wrong or out of date.
I managed to unlock the bootloader ok, but when it comes to using MTKDROIDTOOLS to create a scatter file, I get errors - reading around it appears that MTKDROIDTOOLS doesn't work with Lollipop and higher. (My phone is running Nougat)
So I'm looking at Miracle Box, but it's concerning that the latest post I can find is 2016
On here, I can only find references to Elephone U Pro which is a different chipset, the non-Pro version is mediatek.
So question - is there a better guide around?
Do I need to install TWRP or is there a simpler way to root?
Thanks for any help
Does your phone have fastboot?
(I never used Elephone U)

Blackview BV9700 Pro - Root, TWRP and CustomROM

Hi Folks,
recently I bought this very good outdoor-phone and now I want to root it.
There are some tutorials in the WWW to do this, but there all fakes, I think.
Is there anyone here, who has successfully rooted this device itself?
Thanks a lot.
Hello,
is there nobody other with my problem?
I have a BV9800 pro and was able to unlock the bootloader, install TWRP and root it. It was a challenge, but the first question would be have you unlocked the bootloader? If not, remember to backup everything you don't want to erase when it factory resets you. Then use the unofficial TWRP site : https://unofficialtwrp.com/unofficial-twrp-3-3-1-root-blackview-bv9700-pro/ for your phone.

UMIDIGI A7S - Can't find the stock rom

Hi everyone!
I have a UMIDIGI A7S phone and I'd like to root it but I can only find the stock ROM for the UMIDIGI A7.
Does anyone know where I can find the righj ROM? I guess using the A7 ROM would brick my phone right?
Phone's Stock ROM is Android 10 GO.
Take note that before you get started to root phone's Android, you need to unlock your phone’s bootloader. The bootloader, simply put, is the program that loads the device’s operating system. It determines which applications run during your phone's startup process.
Hence check whether unlocking the bootloader is possible or not.
Hi! Do you have a link where I could find this rom please?
