after fixing bootlopp IMEI problems

it started when i was using offical firmware jelly bean 4.1.2 (I9100XXMS1) rooted and i wanted to flash Cyanogenmod 11
to do so you need CWM recovery 6.0.4.4 at least but i had philz touch cwm based 5.0.x.x. (that kind of cwm i had with root)
so i downloaded CWM recovery 6.0.4.4, copied it to my sd card, entered recovery mod and flashed that CWM recovery 6.0.4.4..
so if im not wrong i flashed different version CWM recovery that i had..
because of it bootloop started.
somehow i managed to restore my phone back to working status. i had a lot of problems like "cant mount E:/ efs" and bootloop all the time but now almost all is ok
almost except IMEI...
i used some SGII_repair app so now i have signal but my IMEI is different than before.. no idea how to restore it.. why i need it? cause i cant enter my sim contatcs
and no i did not backed up my /efs folder before so i cant just copy nv_data.bin, nv_data.bin.md5
no idea what to do now.. i checked every topic about it and still dont know how to fix it
help..
No IMEI & no EFS backup = service centre or local mobile repair shop.
but according to that [GUIDE] Recover your IMEI in 9 steps.
i dont need imei or efs backup.. i did same as on guide and it did not worked.. still IMEI changed to 004999010640000
Exactly my point
well at least phone is working..
i can call and ppl can call me..
but its not my IMEI so its not good..
if they can do it at service centre or local mobile repair shop i cant do it myself?

[Q] EFS restore error

Hello, I'm new member in here. Today I flashed UltimaROM to my SGS3. Before the flashing I installed Philz touch recovery and saved Nandroid, modem and EFS backups in my PC. After the flashing no IMEI number was shown and I got a message saying " Insert SIM card....". So i tried to restore EFS in custom restore option in philz recovery. Even though it showed restore successful , IMEI number is still unavailable and i couldn't connect to mobile network. I also tried ktools to restore efs but no result. Can someone please help me regarding this issue.
What version firmware did you have before you first flashed? If it was really old then that could be the problem.
Flash a 4.3 stock rom, factory reset them boot and see if your efs is read again.

Thanks for the reply. I had 4.1.2. If I flash 4.3 stock ROM can i retrieve my IMEI ?
If you flash a 4.3 stock it will update your efs to v2 and should enable it to be read in all newer firmwares.

Unknown BaseBand (No IMEI, No Device ID)

Hello,
After a fail flash custom rom, my phone got bricked. Somehow, i recovered it.
But now, i'm facing two major issues : No IMEI, No BaseBand (Wi-Fi is still working.)
I've tried every single post concerning : Restoring Imei and Restoring EFS partition.
(When i tried to restore the EFS partition following this guide : https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/flash-recover-efs-snapdragon-t3406789 . It requested me a password after booting)
Please help me, it'll save my life :crying:

I fixed this problem by dirty flashing my ROM.
just download and flash the modem files. you can find it with a simple google search. flash this in twrp. everything should be back to normal.
