I'm trying to get pixel live wallpaper running on my Mate, port apk works fine on home screen but not on the lock screen. Anyone can help?

Have been trying to get the Microbes live wallpaper to work on my phone running CM9 nightly (4-03). I install the apk file, it shows up in my live wallpapers menu, but when I click to make it the active live wallpaper, it just reverts back to the stock wallpaper.
Any idea of what to do? I know the Microbes live wallpaper was a part of the live wallpaper pack that comes with the stock TW rom.
I wanted my default wallpaper to show up when flashed the rom, so i replaced the default one in framework-res.apk and deleted live wallpapers as i did not want the nexus live wallpaper to show up, i also deleted the live wallpaper chooser since there are no live wallpapers to pick from... I succeeded in getting my default wallpaper but my lockscreen wallpaper went blank/empty/black
I can still choose the lockscreen wallpaper from cm settings but How do I fix that?
I Recently changed the stock wallpaper on the lock screen to the Ocean HD Live Wallpaper, and it disabled the water ripple effect (along with any sound effects)
Just curious if anyone knows how to get them back and keep the Live wallpaper?

No as samsung also prompts while changing lockscreen to live wallpaper that water ripple won't wotk
well that wallpaper not live wallpaper
just go choose wallpaper, and you will found that wallpaper

Is there a way to have separate live wallpapers on lock and homescreen? Or Maybe have one live wallpaper on the lockscreen and a normal image wallpaper for the homescreen?
The stock samsung settings only allow for one live wallpaper on BOTH the lock and homescreen.

I'd like to know how I can apply any Live wallpaper for both Homescreen and Lockscreen?
Whenever I try to select the option "Apply on Homescreen and Lockscreen" it only changes my Homescreen's wallpaper but not the Lockscreen.
I've installed Google Wallpapers first then the Pixel Live Wallpaper I've found from apkmirror

Could this be an issue with the Poco Launcher?

1.open themes app and set any video wallpaper to both home screen and lock screen.(If you dont have a video wallpaper search how to add one)
2.Live wallpaper should set to both now

I actually tried that. However it was not working while I was on MIUI 10 Global Stable 10.0.4.0
I flashed HavocOS Pie now 'coz I've decided to ditch MIUI for a while for some personal decisions.
