Dolby Digital Plus on Pie ROMS - OnePlus 3 & 3T Cross Device Themes, Apps & Mods

[It should also work on Oreo Roms]
Tutorial to make dolby digital plus working on pie roms (my personal experience):
-Install Viper4AndroidFX (2.5.0.5) from magisk, reboot
-install the magisk module of Dolby(you can download it in the attached file section below this), reboot
-install Audio Modification Library.
Tested on my Oneplus 3T running Havoc OS Pie

Does it work via Bluetooth and USB?
As well as stream content?

Installed:
- Viper4android work (for Bluetooth too, USB not)
- Dolby force close...
I'm on OP3 CB2 (Android 9) system.
Update:
On 9.0.3 works all...

Can I use Dolby without root and viper?

Follow the installation steps as described.
also remember to install busybox, it is very important.
And that your Selinux is in permissive mode.

try this
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/app-dolby-atmos-axon-7-oreo-port-t3740508
Why can you say "most"? Viper & dolby definitely work on android 8.1, provided we are willing to look for related threads and read one by one comments from the thread. Many other members have already explained how to make the viper & dolby work. Be a bit smarter, don't be lazy.
Just use magisk and the magisk v4a module..it definitely works
You need busybox to viper to work, don't forget that. I use v4a and busybox from the magisk repos.
Just install this
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/themes/app-viper4android-fx-installer-t3703575
You can install it with magisk. Works fine for me.

Any sound mod for Poco F1?

If you find any good sound mods for Poco F1 please do share here. Like the LG V30 mod or viper or Dolby mod or Sony Xz2 mod or anything. So far the only problem is with the sound
Actually Poco is going to provide Dolby in future update (With MIUI 10 update). As posted in changelog of future beta ROM of Poco F1 in MIUI global forum beta recruitment page.

Go to this thread, and follow the instructions to root with magisk by flashing via recovery, then after rebooting go to magisk manager and go to downloads tab and search for modules required and click install, it's interactive, gollow the steps as directed.
For now viper4android is safe i guess
Because i installed other sound mods and faced bootloop,im not sure its because of those mods, but i wouldn't risk it as v4a suffices all our needs

[Magisk] FMRadio for Pie roms (Magisk Module)

I created a Magisk module based off the FMRaido PIE fix, this Magisk module will allow you to use the FM Raido under pie roms that don't support it, it should work with other Xiaomi devices too but I can only test on my RN3P.
I'm not sure who created the original flashable recovery zip / modules (FMRadioFixPiE.zip), I just converted it to Magisk so we don't need to modify the system or vendor partitions.
Edit
No longer needed for Havoc OS since it comes with the radio app on latest updates.
Enjoy.
Use at own risk...etc..etc.
Needs
Magisk 17.0+
Android 9 (PIE)
Not working with Havoc pie.
No playback.. Radio found channels correctly.

I am trying to install this on Citrus-CAF but even though I can see the app under the system/app directory for some weird reason the app is not installed. It might have to do with enforcing selinux since it was working great on Havoc OS.
It works great

Hi guys. I managed to enable dual speaker mod on OnePlus 3T (didn't tested on OnePlus 3, but I think is working) with HavocOS 2.7 build 01.08.2019 and is working good. It should work with ROMs based on LineageOS, didn't tested on OxygenOS since LOS team changed some things in mixer_paths_tasha.xml.
Version 1.0
- first release for Pie
LINK (MIRROR): URL
Installing:
1. First backup your original mixer_paths_tasha.xml by renaming it to mixer_paths_tasha.xml.bak

What are the lines you have changed/ added to the xml?
Ofcourse I can compare, but it would help me for making a script to modify the original xml without replacing it.
Hope you are willing to share your knowledge!
Not working on my OnePlus 3, any media won't play after replacing this with my original xml file.
One of my two sim cards also stopped working.

Yes bro... 100%. I covered the bottom speaker to check and also brought the earpiece close to ears, it worked.
Only thing which I did was didn't do the .bak option and instead copied the original to main folder and replaced the original with modified one.

I will improve the script and will make a Magisk module, but now I don't have time because I work 2 jobs and I am all the time tired and not in the mood to script something.
Confirm that using a root file explorer application, any media content will fail to load, but using the TWRP inbuilt file manager it works just fine. Havoc 2.8
Thanks a lot!
