64bit, with 32bit I ended with Error 255 in TWRP Install

How to disable the navigation bar?

Confirming install instructions.
Hi,
I thanks a lot for the ROM, downloading as I type.
I have a Cedric on AEX 8.1 build, I gather to install this one, I'd go wipe / flash / wipe cache / reboot?
thanks,

Thanks. Installed it yesterday. So far it's working fine, default camera and google camera also works, only moto camera fails to take any picture. It seems the default camera fails to write the image/video if I change the storage to the external SD. Internal storage works fine.

How long did it take to boot on installation? did you wipe cache/dalvik after flashing?

The softkeys won't hide, I will only use hardware buttons

Safetynet is not working

Hi, did you check that your fingerprint sensor is working after install?
I lost mine after installation.
I installed by wipe / flash / wipe cache and that didn't work so went back and wiped / flash / reboot / completed setup and noticed sensor would not come up in setup so looked for this all over the place and I think I lost it somehow.

Everything works. What version of android did you have before? You need to install on 8.1 stock.

That must have been it, my moto never got 8.1 stock, I was on AEX 8.1
will try that and confirm

I don't know why but only on this ROM I get an error if I will play Pokemon GO, on LineageOS 16 works it with magisk. And the soft keys let still not disable.
If I will change/add things in build.prop, it is on next boot lost.

If anyone is havin problem in safetynet, just install the magisk ianmacd in the github "Magisk-v18.1-2019010401-ianmacd(2019010401).zip" version, and install the module SafetyPatch, and reboot, after that the safetynet will pass.

I think it took 5 minutes, more or less. Before installation I was on stock Oreo. I wiped system, data and dalvik cache partitions.

Did as suggested, loaded twrp flash-able Stock8.1, not even reboot or complete setup, loaded this rom, wiped cache / dalvik and phone rebooted with Pie PixelExperience no problems. I am going to give it a go and let you guys know how this goes.
thanks a lot.

Please works on camera can someone port Google cam in these 9.0 pie rom with working video recording!!

The ROM works fine but my battery life its very short if my display is off i have in 30 minutes 3% drain thats bad, I'm miss the clock adjustments in the navigation bar.
I hope for the battery gets a fix.

I meant that this ROM is a purchase incentive for the X3 - i.e. PixelExperience is so good that I might buy the X3 if the feedback for this ROM release is good.
So keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to your first users' feedback posts. :good:
Everything is working great, except for the auto brightness , it seems to be too aggressive and constantly keeps changing brightness of screen

I will look at this
Which app is working for FM Radio on this ROM?
So far working good for me!
I haven't done much testing, but the only small bug I noticed is if I'm watching a video on YouTube, press full screen, and then try to rotate the phone to view in landscape fullscreen, it exits fullscreen mode.
Shout out for the good work with this rom!
My experience (no pun intended) so far is surprisingly good. I was expecting at least some bugs that i've always came across with even PE stable builds in my past devices (unreliable proximity sensor during phone calls and BT pairing with iDrive 6 with the MiA1, RN5, MiA2 and RN7), but no. Everything seems to work just fine for my surprise. Thanks a lot!
If i install this on my poco x3 nfc will and if pixel experiance will get an update will i also get the update?

No, at least not for now.
When goes official to your device?
Does google pay work without Magisk? It passes safety nets? I don't need root.
Hello, actually on latest miui rom, followed the steps as told on the given link, on first post, but it's buggy as hell on the setup steps at first launch, dunno if it's only me, but here what I did:
- installed latest orange fox recovery (alpha 6)
- booted on it
- flashed latest miui eu through recovery (12.0.3.0.QJGEUXM)
- reboot to recovery again
- flashed pixel experience rom
- factory format (The format data step is not so clear, I tried only the data partition as well, with or without flashing dalvik)
- reboot to system
When I'm at the system step, the "search for updates" usually makes the phone reboot, it's taking a loooooong time to pass this setup steps.
I finally managed to pass the setup steps, but it took me more than a hour to pass this.
I'm pretty sure it's a pebkac, not the rom at fault or else, so if you have any idea on what was my mistake, I'm taking any advice here
PS: Also tried with twrp, tried to flash mieu eu rom from recovery, and from fastboot, etc...
EDIT: Also, thanks for reading my question and for the work here, I love pixel experience rom, would love to have it on this phone

EDIT:
Found out the issue, it seems the eu vendors were the culprit, when I flash the eu vendors it's buggy as hell, with the global ones it's ok :/

working perfectly on g920f, except bluetooth sound
working perfectly , except Notification Bar is that it doesn't have a transparency feature
And CPU heats up sometimes when running some apps
Normal usage, seems to work.
Battery does not last much, but it may be due to its poor health: it's quite old and has been in discharged state for at least 1 year.
MY PROBLEM IS CANT USE VIDEO CALL ON WHATSUP & OTHER APPS

Does anyone else have an issue where SELinux is not enforcing?
Not 100% sure, may be the old battery, but:
- In 8 hours airport modus, screen off, the charge went down 17% from 100% to 83%
- I installed AccuBattery to check, and it reports no deep sleep, not even with screen off.
Hello, thank you for developing for this device first off. secondly, do you have a twrp for zerofltexx? that's the one I have installed now. if not will this work with an older version of twrp?

The twrp version shouldn't matter too much I guess, but it is better to be on the latest version. You can get the latest twrp by ripee from here.
battery drain is still massive while im not using it and i cant get information about it with onboard tools. everything works fine. even gps and bluetooth. just the battery still sucks. and cam is same like other roms still crap. the lightning and final focus just dont hit the right timing
anyone can help with the deepsleep thing? or maybe cam?

Try using enesuzuns new kernel, and see if deep sleep is fixed. You can find it here. With that also try naptime from playstore.
Why is it so hard to find a ROM to work with Canadian G920W8? AND where the rom won't break the camera and make it unusable for taking pictures?
I'm having issues with Bluetooth audio. It says it's out putting to my connected JBL go speaker but the actual audio still plays over the phone speakers.

The solution is as follows:
• NO AOSP roms, no matter the version, Serious Camera issues EVEN with the proposed fixes
• ONLY Stock roms
• NO roms above nougat 7.0
• NO v7.1.1 or v7.1.2 roms
• NO AOSP v7.0 rom with compatible Canadian/T-Mobile AOSP Kernel (same camera issues even with android v7.0)
What I have NOT tried and did NOT find yet as of the date of this comment:
• Stock Android v8, v9, v10 or v11 G920W8 kernels and sompatible roms
Canadian Samsung S6 G920W8 phones have been left out sadly.

Hello everyone I have a crash error when I try to install any APK
Thank you, i like it a lot!
I have a problem with Monet Engine. I could set a custom color and make adjustments the first time i used it. But now I am stuck with nuclear-waste-yellow because the color picker has no effect anymore.
Using gestures, is there a way to remove this bar? While turning off the navigation bar in cdroid works; the back gestures(swipe right or left edge) stops working .
What changed from 8.0 to 8.1?
Hey great ROM! It works pretty well with MicroG so far.

I still have the problem with 8.1. Resetting the "crdroid" settings reset all other settings, but the accent color stayed the same and cannot be changed.

Using gestures, is there a way to remove this bar? While turning off the navigation bar in cdroid works; the back gestures(swipe right or left edge) stops working .

Sure. I know some ways:
- Flash pill_killer_twrp in PE_Begonia Telegram group. It worked with some A12, some error show but it worked. And I didnt test with this rom, you can try.
- Use G-Visual Mod Magisk but it wont total clear space, just make it shorter
- Some said Fulllscreen/Immersive Gesture (Q-S) Magisk Module work but I didn't use it also

worked Like a charm, thank you very much.
I don't know if this is an Android 12 thing or a thing with this device, but I have not been able to get USB audio output working on this ROM or the LineageOS 19 one. Any ideas? Kind of need that feature.

Same, I'm on miui 12.5 global, it uninstalled and replaced my orange fox with twrp which I'm not too fond of.
Update: I wiped everything except the vendor and the SD card. I forgot to wipe the cache and davik cache on my first attempt. Works now that I've done all of this
your phone bootlooped? did you format data? or flash dfe if you were using dfe previously?

Yeah, I hadn't completely wiped the cache, so I am assuming that's what caused it, second attempt worked, wiped everything except for the vendor. It's working great so far.
The only thing I'm trying to figure out now is, how do I disable the screen on at all times? I enabled that by accident

1. Go to Settings > Display:
Check the 'Screen Timeout'
Also check 'Lock Screen' and turn off 'Wake for notifications' and 'Always on While Charging'
Unable to download the ROM and gapps. Download fails during the range 800-1000 MB.
Hi, and thanks a lot for this ROM. Everything seems to work, **except** fast charging. On a 60W charger, it only charges at 2 to 4.5W. Original MIUI used fast charge (maybe 15W).
Edit: I discovered that fast charging is adaptive; it depends on the current charge. The fuller the battery the slower the charge. At 75% it charged at 10W, and at 95% it charged at 2W.
