Installation steps
Make sure you have TWRP 3.3.x installed (download latest official for Note8 or S8/S8+, install instructions here)
Make sure your phone is charged to at least 70%.
Download the ROM, and transfer to your phone / external SD card if you have encryption active
Make sure OEM Unlock is on in developer settings
Boot the phone into TWRP
Do a FULL wipe: Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data, System
- If you come from stock rom, probably encryption is active, you need to format data partition in twrp-wipe menu
Flash rom and boot (first boot can take 15-20 min)
uncheck diagnostic data in setting wizard
How about bugs?
Please first take a look at FAQ in #4 post for further issues/workarounds.

FAQ
Q: Phone is showing YYY model but my phone is ZZZ model, is that normal?
A: Yes, that is very normal and very intented. Do not change it or you will break features.
Q: How to revert back to Oreo?
A1: Download Oreo modem and bootloader from here, flash as normal zip in twrp and flash the Oreo rom of choice.
A2: Download full stock Oreo firmware for your region and flash it with Odin v3.13.*.
Q: Why OEM toggle is missing in this rom?
A: I disabled it to be sure nobody gets locked by mistake.
Q: Magisk app not showing, what to do?
A: Download latest Magisk Manager from here and install as normal app.
Q: My phone shows locked because "Payment services was uninstalled without authorization", how to get rid of it?
A: Unfortunately you need to reflash rom, no wipe needed. Also don't try to debloat the rom again or you will have same issue.
Q: Installation failed, what to do now?
A: First of all make sure you have the official twrp. If the probelm persists try to redownload the zip and/or select less things in Aroma installer. If you still have the problem, probably your device is not supported.
Q: How to report bugs?
A: If you want to report a bug make sure you include:
-device variant / modem version / bootloader version / region
-detailed info about the encountered issue
-steps to reproduce the bug
-logs
Q: How to take logs?
A: Download Logcat Extreme and take a look at this.
Q: TWRP can't mount data partition, what to do?
A: Make sure you formatted data partition if your previous rom was stock.
Q: Phone is not booting even after 20 minutes?
A: Try to reboot. If still not booting, make sure you formatted data partition if your previous rom was stock.
Q: How to format data partition?
A:
Q: Phone is asking to reboot because sim changed, what should i do?
A: Reboot once and see if it appears again. If yes reboot again.
Q: Phone asks to wipe data because operator changed, should i wipe?
A: Try to cancel and just reboot. If you can't do that or the popup still appear, reflash the rom and wipe in Aroma installer.
Q: GPS not finding my location, what to do?
A: Install GPS Test, enable location services from settings, go outside and wait for 20 minutes.

Flashed on my N950F bought in Sweden. Damn, that went fast. So far no issues on my phone.
Its very smooth so far, I find it pretty awesome, im happy with this. No bugs so far for me, but maybe there are need to use it more of course.

Hey guys! Here we are another time
Assuming that you already know me more or less, this rom is based upon latest Samsung Experience 8.5 (Android 7.1.1). I really love the Samung UI, that's why I work on those roms and not on AOSP such as LineageOS, I know I'm a little fanboy
Coming to the features, it's similar to the ones you'll find on my other roms such as BatMan-Rom (for the S8/S8+ and S7/S7e) or the SuperMan-Rom (for the S7/S7e) or even the EOL (End Of Life) HydraRom (for the glorious N7) :good:
The Rom itself contains many many custom features via RomControl, I'll list the most important ones below, still you are very welcome to try them all via the RomControl app (choosable in aroma). Now enough talking, wish you much fun flashing the rom and hope you'll enjoy it! :fingers-crossed:

How to install the rom:
For advanced users:
0. Make sure to have a backup somewhere on external storage
1. Make sure to be on most recent TWRP, bootloader and modem
2. Flash the rom
3. If you need VoLTE or Wifi Calling, flash your correct carrier CSC
4. Done :highfive:
For normal users:
0. Boot your phone, enable OEM unlock in developer settings
1. Flash TWRP with Odin, following this thread Galaxy S8 TWRP until it works correctly (to access download mode, press bixby+volume down+power on while phone is turned off)
2. Make sure you are using most recent bootloader and modem, latest one available here on Android File Host
3. Now boot into TWRP by pressing bixby+volume up+power on while phone is turned off
4. If TWRP asks you about allowing system to be edited, swipe yes to confirm
5. In TWRP, go to wipe, format data (a keyboard will pop up now), type "yes" (this will wipe all your data, make sure to have a backup!)
6. After this, reboot recovery and start the rom installer
7. Select your preferences in my aroma installer
8. If you selected to auto update bootloader in aroma, the installer will reboot automatically
9. You can still install my CSC selection if you are customer of a carrier which is not supported by default CSC inside the rom
10. Wait till the rom boots up
11. After setting up, open IronControl Free and let the app apply my default settings!
12. Enjoy the rom!

Yes speed meter can be enabled in romcontrol
Kernel you can choose between stock or ironkernel
knox is faked as it's a kernel feature yes

Thanks tried that already...no luck...tried a few different options in Aroma installer (with/out stock kernel etc etc)
After the first boot, when I try to install my apps - backckup about my gmail account, direct after when you insert your mail it's end in a "whitescreen". The only thing was works is the power menue on a white screen. After a reboot the same occurs.
I've G950f with AOK7 baseband.

There is only 1 reason it can bootloop: installation aborts because too many bloatware files have been selected. It will display an error message on your screen saying: some symlinks failed. In this case reflash with LESS bloatware :good:

Installation steps
Make sure you have TWRP 3.3.x installed (download latest official for Note8 or S8/S8+, install instructions here)
Make sure your phone is charged to at least 70%.
Download the ROM, and transfer to your phone / external SD card if you have encryption active
Make sure OEM Unlock is on in developer settings
Boot the phone into TWRP
Do a FULL wipe: Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data, System
- If you come from stock rom, probably encryption is active, you need to format data partition in twrp-wipe menu
Flash rom and boot (first boot can take 15-20 min)
uncheck diagnostic data in setting wizard
How about bugs?
Please first take a look at FAQ in #4 post for further issues/workarounds.

FAQ
Q: Phone is showing YYY model but my phone is ZZZ model, is that normal?
A: Yes, that is very normal and very intented. Do not change it or you will break features.
Q: How to revert back to Oreo?
A1: Download Oreo modem and bootloader from here, flash as normal zip in twrp and flash the Oreo rom of choice.
A2: Download full stock Oreo firmware for your region and flash it with Odin v3.13.*.
Q: Why OEM toggle is missing in this rom?
A: I disabled it to be sure nobody gets locked by mistake.
Q: Magisk app not showing, what to do?
A: Download latest Magisk Manager from here and install as normal app.
Q: My phone shows locked because "Payment services was uninstalled without authorization", how to get rid of it?
A: Unfortunately you need to reflash rom, no wipe needed. Also don't try to debloat the rom again or you will have same issue.
Q: Installation failed, what to do now?
A: First of all make sure you have the official twrp. If the probelm persists try to redownload the zip and/or select less things in Aroma installer. If you still have the problem, probably your device is not supported.
Q: How to report bugs?
A: If you want to report a bug make sure you include:
-device variant / modem version / bootloader version / region
-detailed info about the encountered issue
-steps to reproduce the bug
-logs
Q: How to take logs?
A: Download Logcat Extreme and take a look at this.
Q: TWRP can't mount data partition, what to do?
A: Make sure you formatted data partition if your previous rom was stock.
Q: Phone is not booting even after 20 minutes?
A: Try to reboot. If still not booting, make sure you formatted data partition if your previous rom was stock.
Q: How to format data partition?
A:
Q: Phone is asking to reboot because sim changed, what should i do?
A: Reboot once and see if it appears again. If yes reboot again.
Q: Phone asks to wipe data because operator changed, should i wipe?
A: Try to cancel and just reboot. If you can't do that or the popup still appear, reflash the rom and wipe in Aroma installer.
Q: GPS not finding my location, what to do?
A: Install GPS Test, enable location services from settings, go outside and wait for 20 minutes.

Security manager deactivated, Data saving feature added just install package from playstore fixed WhatsApp notification problem by adding exception to powersave data package permission to WhatsApp, quota meter activated, some status bar switches activated also added smartmanger to such as app lock autostart apps but some how in pie it doesnt activated I ll fix it on next releases.Some kind of things.. Is that enough?

I have Galaxy note 8 SM-n9500 on rooted stock oreo rom
Kindly explain the step wise method of flashing this rom in Note 8 on stock Oreo 8.0.0 rom
I will write what I am thinking.
1- after factory reset, flash stock Pie rom using Odin, but take the CHC Bootlaoder provided in this post .
2. Then flash the TWRP and reboot into TWRP( not to system reboot)
3- Format the data using TWRP
4. Then flash this rom using TWRP and reboot.
If there is any mistake, kindly inform us
My doubt is there is any need to flash any root zip file or Magisk zip before flashing this rom.

Installed since 3 days ago and working fine.
Hi, first of all, Thanks to ygecesefa for making this rom and made it available for all, really great work!
I already installed ICE FOX 1.0 rom since 3 days ago, and by now seems working very fine to me.
In my case, I always prefer got the time to backup my stuff of interest, and prefer to wipe everything including internal memory partition (I backup all to SD external card) since I like to start with like a new phone and really hate to deal with issues because old system incompatibilites.
By now, I only noted yesterday that battery life seems somewhat short that my previously oreo tomato rom install, but today I simply charge full and do battery calibration with the root-tools app include in ICE FOX rom. By now the battery seems better and I would be checking.
Again Thanks to ygecesefa developer for share his great work.

S10 Camera app? Don't see it mentioned so probably not, but figured can't hurt to ask
When restoring apps from a cloud backup, all the apps seem to fail to download and install even when deleting data and cache for google play and services. Also I can't seem to login to Snapchat as it just freezes on the login page.

By reading though most of your posts it seems like you are problems with almost every ROMs. Maybe you should stick with Stock ROM.

Totally agree. Some people should not be flashing custom roms period. No logcat or anything just bash the rom and its actually the inexperienced NOOB

Install custom kernel and you're good to go. I had the same issue but read the OP section it says in red letters to install custom kernel after flashing the rom. And yeah you need to flash magisk too after flashing kernel if you need root.:good:

This rom is super smooth thanks to @MegaloXDA i had 5hrs sot on normal use. I have been using this rom for 2 days now and I have no complaints, i love the game launcher and edge plus options dev put from note 10 or s10 no idea but it's good. Hope next versions of the rom comes with aroma so that we can choose which features to install like bixby button for google assistant rather than screenshot, dual or single speaker output, adaway. And people who are asking about note 10 camera, sorry its s8 camera. I guess note 10 camera is hard to port right now.

Backup your internal storage to PC, memory card, OTG or whatever
Ensure you have up-to-date TWRP or OrangeFox
Download required files.
Reboot recovery
Flash the create vendor or the new Repartion script ( It will erase all data also internal storage) you still can use the old create vendor( won't wipe internal storage). (J2 Core users) must obviously flash the new repartion script.
J2 CORE user should flash Go-repartition-script instead of the normal one
Reboot recovery and wipe system, vendor, cache and format DATA.
Copy the rom to your phone and flash it.
Reboot to system and wait for 5-10 Mn.
Setup your phone, update apps and Enjoy QUACK .
Bugs:
-Selinux is permissive
-Face recognition (Never worked)
-Report bugs on telegram group.

I accidentally deleted my stock ROM and unfortunately, I didn't make any backup. Any help is appreciated.

Download the ROM
Ensure you have up-to-date TWRP (3.4.0.0).
Copy the files you downloaded to PC or OTG or whatever
Reboot your phone to TWRP (Latest recovery for your devices)
[*]Make sure OEM unlock is unlocked
[*]Flash create-vendor if you haven't already (For G570X)
or Create vendor for (J330X)
Wipe data, dalvik, and cache
Flash ROM
[*]Reboot and after 4 Min force Reboot your phone (Hold Volume Down + Power untill device reboot)
Setup your ROM and Enjoy Quack!!

Do you have TWRP (3.4.0.0) for J330X or G570X? I did not find the new version of TWRP. It has only version 3.1.1.

Where are you getting this download. I prefer getting the zip from the Official TWRP App from the play store or from their official website.
Note: Do not flash a version of TWRP not made for your device. Best case, it works and contains some bugs. Worst case, you'll need to reflash your recovery or your phone may be bricked.

J330X builds of TWRP are not updated due to being an unofficial build of TWRP. This build is safe to use, but maintainers don't have to update when TWRP updates. You'll have to wait for the maintainer to update the build.

OBS: Ela só iniciciou depois que eu nstalei o Magisk via twrp.
I still did not find a defect for me it is the best ROM for this 570m device thank you very much if I wasn't poor would you donate something tell me another way to help please
It is necessary to have the 3.4 version of TWRP, since my G570M has version 3.1
Note: Since I saw some videos on YouTube where they perform the installation of the rom using TWRP 3.1.
Would you have a problem not using 3.4?
