Accidentally booted to System B (via TWRP) and rebooted. How to boot to System A? - Motorola One Questions & Answers

So one evening I was tired and tried to flash a zip using TWRP sideload. After flashing I wanted to reboot but accidentally pressed "System B" and before I fully realized what I've done I rebooted the phone. Now the system info LED (the one you get when something is bricked) starts blinking whenever my phone is connected to a charger or to the PC.
It gets recognized as Qualcomm HS USB qdloader 9008. Is there any way to change it back to System A using Sahara Protocol or something like that?

Sorry but that's the only solution. The one I've wrote on xda.
In fact its quite easy, the problem is when we ended up without it we stressed
For the first time it took me 1 month but then, after that experience, I've manage to make it work after 5 min. And believe me, since the first time, I've broken mine more than 20 times

I contact the Lenovo support in germany, usa and china, no help..

Bootlooped RN3P.. currently a paperweight.

This morning I decided I'd try to install CM14.1 instead of what I was running at the time, MIUI8. I must have flashed the wrong Official ROM and everything has gone downhill since then. I've also asked reddit for some advice and was told to install official developer ROM through EDL. That has been my goal for the last few hours but I haven't managed to do it yet. I believe I am accessing EDL but I don't really know how to tell, through Device Manager I see "Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E (COM3)" but cannot flash through MiFlash as no device appears. When I am in fastboot I can see my device through MiFlash but cannot flash anything to it as I get "mismatching image and device" even though I am 95% sure that this is the correct ROM I should be flashing.
Please help I am beginning to stress out, any questions I will answer them quickly!

Thanks for the post, unfortunately I am having troubles getting into EDL. With the program you just linked I get stuck at "< waiting for device >". I believe there could be some driver issues as I am getting 900E and not 9008.
you need a deep flash cable for that...
here you go,
http://en.miui.com/thread-310325-1-1.html
This one is a little bit tricky but quicker and less aggressive way.
http://en.miui.com/thread-380827-1-1.html
This one is easier but you will have to sacrifice one of your USB cable ( if you have an extra one lying around)
Personally first one worked for me well..
Hit thanks if this helped.
I have tried with the deep flash cable, no luck. The second link talks about browsing to the correct drivers.. where do I get these, what is he talking about?
follow this method , drivers must be installed properly

How do I start fresh? I've already got drivers that will interfere. As in, he says "Phone will be detected as QHUSB_BULK" where for me it's being detected already as the 900E one.
since you have installed a wrong rom package, you device name and status get changed. during flashing from mi flash choose to clean all. always use miflash beta

You can still try the "update driver" option...As after the driver installation windows refreshes the connection and if everything goes well..Your phone will be detected as 9008
You probably already know at this point, but if you don't, the notification LED on the device will flash red when you have successfully entered EDL mode.
You can try popping open the back cover(remember to eject the sim card tray) slowly(the fingerprint scanner is connected to the back), then unplug and replug the battery. It might help you boot to fastboot.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

The notification LED blinks red anytime that the phone is connected to the computer so it is hard to tell whether I am in EDL mode or not. My main problem right now is that I can't seem to get the Device Manager to say 9008 instead of 900E and therefore I cannot see it in MiFlash. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Wrong flashing of Partitions

Hi Friedns,
During the unbrick process of my LG G3 d851 T-Mobile, I mistakenly flash the sbl1 partition before flashing any other partitions (using the "BoardDiag_v2.99a_modified_by_willcracker" ), my phone turned on (showing battery with exclamation sign). Now, I'm unable to repair it, I'm too much worried and wasted a month or so while searching the solution. Please help me to get back to previous state sothat I can flash partitions in right sequence.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear that, you would need to flash the entire firmware again.
I personally use the LGUP tool, you can download it here https://www.mylgphones.com/download-lg-up-software
Next, you would need to find the .kdz firmware of your phone. Try searching on google for it, it should be around 1gb file. Flashing that stock firmware should repair your phone.
Thanks for reply bro.
Unfortunately no software is detecting my device.
It's just appearing as "LGE androidnet usb serial port" in device management.
How could I unbrick in this situation.

Is your device in download mode? It has to be in download mode, then you can use LGUP to download the firmware.
Device is completely off, not turning on, no recovery mode and no download mode. Screen just turns on when connected to PC without battery and then shows sign of exclamation.

How to can i unbrick my Old Samsung Galaxy Phone?

hello,
i have this old Samsung galaxy young GT-S6312 Running JB 4.1.2 . i was using it as my secondary phone. and yesterday it just stopped Working. when i pulled it out my pocket it was switched off and when i tried to on it, it would go to the very beginning of Samsung animation(i could only see animation for like a half of second ) and then it would crash. i tried to boot into recovery but it crashed there too and then then it stopped Working.
phone is just dead now, no display no charging animation(Battery is fine i checked it on another phone) power & Vol buttons does nothing.
Now When i connect it To my PC with battery Nothing happens however when i connect it without battery i can hear a loop of plugin and plugout sound (windows 7) and in device manager i can see qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 (com10) and device manager keeps on refreshing like a device is being plugged in and plugged out.
is it HardBrick or the phone is just dead?
--edit--
phone is rooted
CWM recovery & Xposed Framwork is installed

Okay so first of all I will let you know why a phone gets bricked-
>Corrupted Rom
>Some system files got deleted
>Rooting
>Modding
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
MY CASE
I always keep two phones with me like one for my experiments and one as a backup. In this case I'll be talking about my LYF WIND 3 that got bricked.
>Actually I was trying to install TWRP onto that phone but first I had to root it, and due to the upgraded android security, I wasn't able to do via KingoRoot so I tried I-ROOT and it did the job but instead of kingo-superuser I got some ****ty superuser so i tried granting permission to the actual SUPERUSER and while doing so I accidentally double rooted my phone (First with I-ROOT and then with KingoRoot), which was kinda stupid, so it just deleted some system files and my phone wouldn't boot after that. It just got stuck on the boot logo.
>The second time I was trying to replace the boot animation and logo but did something wrong so the same situation arose again.

CURE
So my phone uses a Qualcomm CPU so i just guessed I'll flash it again.
*After Intense Googling*
I found this software QFIL (Qualcomm Flash Image Loader)
I downloaded this file and the drivers for my device. *Google it you'll find for yours too*
Then I downloaded the Stock Rom for my device *Google it again*
Now I just went over to Flat Build in that software and loaded the firehose file and the rawprogram.0 and Patch.0
Now I had just put my device in Download Mode (Volume Keys and Power Key)
Connected via USB and it detected it and then just clicked on DOWNLOAD
It takes about 5 minutes.
After this your phone gets good as new (Unroot, Full Reset)

[Q] Phone doesn't boot after flashing boot.img, can't get into recovery, can't even charge

Hi, I literally f**ked up my root progress with patched boot.img.
I'm using a phone that is a clone of Panasonic Eluga x1 Pro. I decided to root it with magisk patched root.img. Simply flashed the patched img with adb using "fastboot flash boot patched_boot.img" and ran "fastboot restart" to restart it to my system, it didn't booted up since. I can't go in recovery mode, the phone is literally not giving or receiving anything.
May be your phone was bricked due to a wrong patched img

I tried that with SP Flash Tool with stock rom of course. I'm trying to plug in my phone but the SP Flash Tool don't wanna flash it, i don't know why. (I have auth and da files too)
By the way, I ran the SP Flash Tool, Format All + Download, when i plug in my phone holding VolUP, it just throws "STATUS_ERR (0xC0010001)" thing. I don't know what to do at this point.

In the Device Manager on PC, it simply says "MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM (Android) (COM12)" about my phone i think.
I don't wanna be that guy but your phone is, think of a person who's alive but can't speak, move, nod, anything, for itself.
However, you may have luck, because they're still repairable, but your best bet is take it back and play dumb, they don't have the time/willingness/resources to check whether you messed with it. Went to bed, woke up, i swear, i dunno, it was like that, tsk, tsk, tsk...
